I feel extremely lucky to have found this newly-opened hidden gem. The Omakase experience was truly amazing! Look forward to extremely high quality and delicious food accompanied by top-tier service from the chef/owner that creates an authentic experience. Seeing the chef work in front of you also feels very special, and he will take the time to explain every dish and answer any questions you may have. I wish this lovely restaurant (and its owner) all of the success, and can’t wait to come back.

This Japanese restaurant brought back fond memories of my pre-covid travels to Japan in the nicest possible way. The food is great (おいしい です), the staff are truly kind and the atmosphere is that of a real izakaya bringing the authentic feeling of Japan to the heart of Finland. This is a must visit for my wife and I next time we visit Helsinki.

I booked here for the Omakase experience during a recent visit to Helsinki, and in a word, wonderful. One has to reserve for this in advance, but it is well worth it. Top quality Japanese food prepared in front of you and it’s just all delicious. We had a wonderful chat with the chef / owner during our meal and he talked us through each of the dishes as they came. Well worth a visit and I hope to be back again soon.

We went there today (Christmas). The atmosphere was amazing and the foods were delicious! The portion is right fit for two girls. We ordered ramen, Eel rice and deep fried chicken.

Very cosy Japanese bar-restaurant with a large omakase counter. We were stuck in Helsinki over the christmas and with most places being closed, Fuji Biyori came in clutch by having it’s doors open on Chirstmas eve We tried a large variety of foods including chicken karaage, ramen, fried eel, and others. Everything was excellent quality. The only mediocre part of the experience was the dessert, but it was inexpensive so it was fine. The plum-matcha Sake we shared was mind blowing as well. The staff was very friendly and hospitable all around. We only tried the Izayaka selection, but I am very excited to try the Teppanyaki and Omakase in the future! I’ve had Japanese food in Europe, the USA, and elsewhere in Helsinki and I have to say this was among the best. I strongly recommend paying a visit if you are in the area!

Real Japanese experience The ingredients were of high quality, all the plates were very tasty, but i have only one suggestion: you can try making the ramen (i’m talking about the soup only) more spicy so that it will have more flavour.

Nice and simple place ! A real travel to Japan in one of these popular corner place, We really appreciate it ! We took the Omakase Menu at the counter, a really nice expérience with a good value for a affordable price. We will come back as soon as we can to taste the pork ramen that look soo gooddd Thanks you Fuji Biyori !

The best food experience in Helsinki. We went back three times to try as much as possible. Each dish ordered had a phenomenal taste: ramen (delicate in taste), gyoza vege and chiken donburi + matcha castella (not too sweet, perfect combination with macha, highly recommended). The restaurant has a Japanese vibe, a unhurry experience. Perfect for eating lunch/dinner and relaxing before continuing your journey. Staff super nice as well. If you want to eat Japanese food in Helsinki - highly recommend this place!

I had 豚骨ラーメン ( tonkotsu) ramen . It was carefully prepared, and the flavours of the soup and ingredients were excellent. The seating arrangements are very typical of a classic Japanese restaurant. I highly recommend.

Nice Izakaya downtown,EXCELLENT FOOD AND SAKE. The chef/owner make foods in front of you with excellent technique and fresh ingredients. And will introduce you to the correct way of eating and suitable wine, a Japanese restaurant experience where food and knowledge coexist.

What an amazing find. This is an awesome Japanese restaurant. Super friendly chef, who diligently prepares your dish in front of you. Incredibly fresh tuna, the best I have tasted in Europe. Just melts in your mouth. Also had the Tonkotsu Ramen. Real authentic Ramen taste. Very satisfying meal. Don’t miss out on the incredible flavours and atmosphere of this gem. A true Ramen experience.

My friend and I came late and ordered a few dishes. The food was unexpectedly delicious and the service was nice and kind. We ordered the Japanese cold tofu, squid salad, salmon donburi, grilled eel donburi, ramen and matcha ice cream. Everything is good and the portion is reasonable. The donburi is nicely done. The taste is very fresh and balanced, not too salty or sweet. Very recommend to come try out. We also ordered a few drinks. The sake was nice and tastes beautifully. The cocktails can be adjusted according to your taste if you ask the server. Highly satisfied. Definitely coming back and highly recommend.
