An absolute must 🙌 👏 👌 It seems the restaurant is a one man show and he definitely shows up; sharing the food of his culture and bringing his home country atmosphere. The restaurant is cozy and has a nice atmosphere. The smell and music transfer you to elsewhere. If you come early, you will see him making the dumplings freshly. As a party of 3, we order one of each, vegan, meat, and chicken. I have never had a momo before so I can not speak on authenticity; however I can judge on quality of the food. It was great. We were all happy to the extent that we did the happy food dance if you know what I am saying ;). The portions were good. Quality price ratio is great 👍 👌 👏. I definitely recommend going there.

We ate at Momo on a whim because of the high google score. This place deserves every bit of praise in these reviews. The chef/owner is super friendly. The menu is simple, meat (pork and beef), chicken, or vegan (tofu). We both went for meat. We were both very impressed. Delicious, well filled dumplings that are beautifully presented. Nicely spiced but not overly spicy. The sauce was a vivid orange coloured tomato based number that was also amazing. I tried the chef’s hot sauce that is on offer and it’s incredible too. Used sparingly it somehow elevates a dish that’s already perfect. We are no longer in Finland but these dumplings are still with us. We keep talking about how much we enjoyed them. Believe the reviews, it’s not hype, it’s genuinely fantastic in every way. You’ll leave with a full stomach and a full heart.

This is truly a gem! The food was superb, it was beautifully presented and it tasted excellent. It had the perfect combination of flavours. It was delicious and as the menu says "everything is better after MoMo". The service was also excellent, friendly and nice. The only thing is that the place is tiny so I expect it to be crowded during rush hour. If you ever need to wait or queue to get in, please do so. It is so worth it! I really recommend it.

These dumplings are something completely new in my opinion - I've never had dumplings like this before. The sauce they are in astonishing and the dumplings themselves are very tasty and look great as well. The owner is friendly and the restaurant is also very cute.

I have been here for lunch a few times and this place was a surprise! A real hidden gem with the best momo I have ever tasted! Simply mouthwatering. The restaurant is quite small and the atmosphere very cozy, the owner is professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

For what it is, it’s perfect. Very tasty and well made dumplings. The chef made me a special order because I wanted to try both meat and chicken dumplings. He made us feel very welcome and at home. The space is small but perfect for us two eating during a calm time of day. 5 out of 5. Ps. The hot sauce is extremely hot. He says take one drop to start. Follow the advice!

As someone who makes dumplings from scratch, I recommend this place. Of course Taiwanese dumplings are different from momo, but still, homemade dumplings with passion and love cannot be wronged. The chef was passionate and friendly too, and the place was cozy but nice.

So good Nepalese street food. This is not the Indian food branded “Nepalese” in Finland but delicious dumplings. Good vegan option and try the spicy salsa 🤤

We're visiting Helsinki from CA and MoMo is without a doubt the best food we have eaten out here this week! The owner is so friendly and has a simple menu of traditional Nepalese dumplings with both meat and vegetarian options. If you love spice to your meal, I highly recommend their chili sauce!!

Excellent food and service. Cozy atmosphere. The portion might be too small for someone who is very hungry. The chili sauce on the side was really really nice!

A gem of a place. Can’t fault it Dumplings are 10/10, it’s super cute. Only 3 tables , we had to wait 15 mins, but totally worth it. Watch out for the chilli sauce!!

Fantastic Nepalese momos with a delicious sauce. Unfortunately we went at the end of the day so we couldn't taste the meat ones, but we took chicken and it was still delicious. There's also a very spicy sauce for those who prefer that! The owner does everything himself and is extremely nice and friendly to his guests. Would return to Helsinki just for another taste!

Best Nepalese dumplings ever, if you can handle spice then ask for hot sauce it’s the bomb,:) on the right is meat momos and left is chicken momos. 100 % recommend it. This is our second day in Helsinki and second time eating them,:)

I have recently visited this small place in the heart of punavouri. Such a cozy place it is ❤️ It has limited seating and only few menu items but everything here is delicious. I have never tasted better Momos than this place in Helsinki. Just loved it.

Feeling very fortunate to have found this hidden gem! The meat and chicken Momo dumplings were super delicious and well seasoned. The portion was huge for girls but I just couldn’t help finishing the whole plate by myself! The service was 5-star too - very kind and hospitable, feeling at home.

Why is google saying “no frills restaurant”? This is the most beautiful dish and plating I have ever SEEN. Little restaurant with only a couple tables and a bar table inside, we were lucky to get tables. Good service, reasonable cook time (it looked like he was making the dough fresh?!?), and absolutely superb and delicious plating and dumplings. Had the vegetarian and chicken dumplings. Would love to have gone here again.

Absolutely amazing, flavourful and delicious momos. This is the true taste of Nepal. If you’re bored of the ”Indian-Nepalese” - you will enjoy this. A very welcomed and refreshing experience.
