This food was absolutely delicious! My husband got the cinnamon roll waffle, and I think it was love at first bite! I had the Irish skillet which was absolutely amazing. It's a lot of food but so tasty with corned beef hash, potatoes, cheese, eggs and hollandaise sauce! This place is worth the stop and any wait time! I had a hard time deciding on what to get because there are so many yummy looking options. The food arrived quickly, and the staff all looked like a well-oiled machine working together. You can see into the kitchen as they cook and they are hustling!

We had a great breakfast at Johnny D's. The menu is full of hard decisions! Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will for sure be back to sample more of the menu. We had the Churro French Toast and the Triple Threat and a pancake shooter. It does in fact taste like a pancake breakfast!

My besties and I was on this fabulous vacation in Myrtle Beach. We stumbled upon this wonderful family owned restaurant Johnny D"s. We had a super nice server named Shelby. I had this delicious shrimp and crab omelet. My friends had a variety of dishes from waffles to pancakes and everyone raved about their food. The restaurant was clean, family oriented and tourist friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and your looking for fun restaurant with amazing food. FYI they close earlier than the average restaurant. Thumbs up!! 💯

WOW! What a great spot to stumble upon. We enjoyed so much, we came back another day. We liked the meals and service from the staff. Everything was great. Grits were made nicely and I had to try their signature Velvet Waffle. Made to perfection! The Churros French Toast was amazing! They do have turkey sausage links for folks who don't eat pork.

OMG!!! GREAT place. I had the cinnamon roll waffle and I swear it was one of the top 3 BEST waffles I've EVER had. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. The atmosphere was great for a family breakfast restaurant. The location is ideal. The Shambled eggs with cheese just okay and average. But everything else was so good, they over overshadowed the eggs. I would HIGHLY recommend this place, and will visit again.

While visiting Myrtle Beach we went to brunch here and I was very thankful we did. The staff were amazing! So friendly and prompt with their service. The red velvet waffle I ordered was DELICIOUS! I loved it and I look forward to another one next time I visit. It’s nice and clean and so are the restrooms. My sister said she enjoyed the coffee it was strong. My children also enjoyed their pancakes. Lord willing I’ll be back again!

This place is awesome. My family and I arrived just in time before the crowd (so get here early if you can). The restaurant is a decent size and tables do fill up quickly. There is a small bar area, where one could enjoy a solo meal. The menu is diverse, so there's plenty to choose from even for the pickiest of eaters. I truly enjoyed my breakfast skillet and my husband liked his omelette. And our girls ate all of their waffles! Our waitress was nice and pleasant and the service was quick. Overall, it was a great experience. I would recommend.

OH MAN!! If y’all don’t stop and try this place out for breakfast/brunch/lunch, you are truly missing out!! It was absolutely delicious!!! There are so many unique dishes to choose from! It was hard to choose! Both my husband and I had the sausage gravy(he got the biscuits and gravy and I had a side) and when they say it’s made in house, you can absolutely tell! It was freaking delicious!!!!! The twisted chicken and waffles were so good as well! It was a Belgian waffle with bacon in it! I was so full I couldn’t even finish it unfortunately. But the chicken was so hot and it was just perfectly, lightly breaded and still juicy as well. And I also had the Spiked Freckled Lemonade too. Our server, Sarah, was very nice and very quick as well. Next time we come to Myrtle, we will definitely be coming back to Johnny D’s!!!
