Great place. My family ate here and we loved the food. The place is located between a gas station and BBQ joint and looks a bit ragged on the surface. When we drove up we were uncertain if we made the right choice choosing it. Proof that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover because inside it’s very clean and inviting. We ordered the gyro platter and it was delicious. Generous portion of meat and very tasty. The lemon potatoes are amazing and the green beans were perfect. The salad was just your typical one nothing impressive but the Greek dressing with it is satisfying. The staff were friendly and pleasant. I had an infant with me and was grateful for the chair in the ladies room when I needed to breastfeed her. It was nice not having to stand for 5-10 minutes in a restroom to care for my baby! A family friendly place to eat! I’d rate it a 9 out of 10.

This is our go to place for great Greek food in Myrtle Beach. We discovered this restaurant a couple years ago and continue to return at least twice each year during our two week stay. If this is your first time trying this restaurant, I would recommend that you try the sampler platter. The platter is large enough to share, and will allow you the opportunity to sample several Greek specialties. I would suggest that you add a side of green beans and lemon potatoes to also share. Our favorite entree has become the Souvlaki Platter, which is grilled pork tenderloin with onions and peppers, Tzatziki, Greek salad, lemon potatoes, green beans, and pita bread. Don’t forget to save room for some fabulous desserts. I enjoy the milk custard (Galaktoboureko). Enjoy!

This reminded me of home because of the hospitality. This place had options for vegans and ALL. I thought my trip was going to be fries and alcohol and I was wrong. We ordered the Vegan burger and hummus with pita bread-delicious. They even had a booster seat for my little one. The restrooms were clean and we enjoyed our experience. Try this place out.

Amazing as usual. I was lucky to find this local family owned and delicious restaurant when I moved to MB over a year ago. I eat here several times a month. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. There is a whole lot of love and pride in their food.

The real deal! Excellent food and service. Fresh and delicious. We started with a Greek salad and lemon chicken soup. Oh so good! Then gyros, both traditional and chicken, were amazing. The portions were large. The service was quick and friendly. The tastes took us back to that vacation in Greece. So don’t be deceived by it’s tiny presence next to a gas station. Mediterranean Bistro is a genuine find. Enjoy!

We loved this little unassuming little Greek restaurant! The food is excellent and the staff make you feel like family. Highly recommend.

Deserve six stars. We ordered takeout and just getting takeout. The service was so great and the lady at the front was so kind I wish we had dined in. Got the sampler which was incredible. All the meat was season and cooked to perfection. Also got pasticio (Greek lasagna) and it was a whole family favorite. The place looks small so we decided to do takeout. But when I walked in it was such a cute little restaurant. Looks like it would be great to dine in also. Also, the baklava cheesecake was wonderful. If you look up and see this place give it a try. Don’t pay attention to the outside or that it’s next to a Circle K. One of the better food experiences we had while in Myrtle Beach on this trip. We will be back again.

I was disappointed with my experience at Mediterranean Bistro. The food was standard fare at a premium price. I saw my moussaka and pastitsio being reheated in a microwave, which didn't even heat the middle right. The bechamel sauce was gelatinous. The sampler dinner came with a very small side of salad that was supposed to be shared by 2 to 3 people, and the feta was sprinkled so lightly that I thought they forgot to add it initially. The baklava was dry and lacking in flavor. The only thing I liked was the grilled chicken from Mediterranean Bistro. I was also concerned about the possible cross contamination and food mishandling that I saw in the open kitchen.

Nice, clean family friendly restaurant. From the outside it is unassuming, but very cute on the inside. Parking is limited. We got the gyros and fries with a side of hummus. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Locals appreciate this place.

Fantastic food in a Quant setting. The grilled chicken gyro was outstanding. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious. A tasty selection of Greek pastries as well. We were in Myrtle Beach for 2 days and had lunch here both days. Definitely will be back.

Truly a hidden gem! I have never eaten in the resturant so I can't speak on the atmosphere or service, but the food speaks for itself. I've always done to go's for a quick and tasty lunch. The folks have always been friendly and very helpful. Their lemon orzo soup is fabulous. But the real winner is their Greek salmon salad. The salmon is cooked to temp, very well seasoned and skin off. Their salads are incredible and about as fresh as they can be!

The food was fantastic. Try the sampler platter (enough for 2 or more). You will not regret it. Large portions. Best tasting, tender chicken breast I've ever had. Pita bread is served warm! We will definitely be visiting again. The full tables on an off-season Tuesday evening told me that it would be good.

This is a small Greek restaurant owned by a family. Authentic amazing food. I had a Gyro plate which comes with green beans and lemon potatoes (that are delicious) pita bread, tatziiki sauce and I chose the lamb meat. The side Greek salad is a wonderful addition to complete the meal. The service at the counter is always top notch and friendly. This is my second trip there so the baklava and the carrot cake where awesome. Word has spread so locals like me and tourists had the place hopping. Please give this place a try if you want something different yet delicious.

This is a nice place with ambience and greek music. We had an extremely shy server who could barely speak and had a spare tire personality. She looked very sad or depressed. We had to hand her our plates when we were finished. The greek salad was lackluster and sparce.Just not enough veggies and the lettuce looked bagged. We were expecting better from previous reviews. The gyro meat was very tasty but the tzatziki sauce was lacking flavor and bland. We had to add a little salad and dressing to the gyro itself to give it a little boost. Although the pita was fresh and tasted maybe homemade, Arby's tzatziki would be better, hate to say but true. There wasn't enough on it .It was served with stale ruffle- like potato chips. We paid 7.00 for four tiny pieces of Spanokopita, which was good but again tzatziki too bland to enjoy dipping in.There is an extensive dessert menu, but we were already a bit disappointed so opted out.I think maybe take a few of those desserts off and focus on the main menu for improvement and maybe teach the server not to be too frightened of the work involved. She stood around alot like a wallflower at a prom. The other server was doing all the work.

This is a great local spot we found and go there whenever we are in the area. Food is made fresh and is always great. Nothing fancy, but it has its own cultural charm. It is normally busy with lots of locals, so that's always a good sign.

This restaurant alone makes us want to move to MB. Some of the best Greek food either of us have had. It's always so hard to decide on what to order because everything is AMAZING. If you're unsure, go with the sampler platter! The owners are so kind, staff is always friendly and attentive. 15/10

Great food Excellent service. The food was great, but the service was even better. She was very friendly and attentive, never let our drinks get less than half full and was great with my toddler. Husband got gyro meat platter and I got salmon platter. Both were great. The salad was great. Highly recommend.

We stopped into this wonderful restaurant for lunch while on vacation. The chicken lemon soup was wonderful as the baklava was fantastic! We also loved the spanakopita. The atmosphere was great and I will be back the next time I am here.

Food was amazing. Very good prices and gray taste. I was surprised at the location but don’t let that fool you, it’s a great place to eat. I thought the hummus was bland, but the rest of the food was very good. I took out the food but when I went inside the dining area looked clean and well maintained.

My partner has been looking for good gyros since we moved to MB, and we found them here! It's a small place but you are welcomed like family and the food is all home cooked!! Even the desserts are homemade. It's definitely worth it!

Excellent food. The salad is so fresh. Shrimp was perfectly cooked. They offered toasted gluten free bread in place of pita. The service was top notch.

Amazing food! The Gyro’s are out of this world and all the deserts are stunning with taste and Presentation! The waitress was the sweetest she was so considerate and was quick on her feet with orders! Highly recommend!

This is my go to for some good hummus, gyro, and great service! After trying this place a few months ago I have gone several times to either sit down and enjoy a meal with someone or to pick up lunch during the week. The staff is attentive and kind. The food is AMAZING! It is always fresh and the taste is authentic. I recommend the chicken gyro as well as an appetizer of hummus. It is my comfort food for sure. Give this hidden gem a try!

We found this place because where we planned to go was closed. This is a small quaint place and we had a fairly large party (7) one of which was a child. The waitress did a fantastic job of taking care of us even though they were already busy. The food was delicious, service was prompt and the price was very reasonable for the food quality, quantity and service. We had an appetizer, 7 entries and 4 desserts. I will be going back.

The food was delicious, like home cooked food. Locals were coming in just for the delicious home cooked desserts. Service friendly & great, portions were large. Highly recommend.

We went last night. We had Greek salad, beef and lamb gyro and falafel gyro. The servers were attentive. Food came out quickly, house salad dressing was really good and the gyros were good. If we are in the area, we will come back. We have a really great Greek restaurant where we live, it is still our #1.

Tried Mediterranean Bistro for the first time last night. We will be back and often. Fabulously friends staff, awesome service, food authentic! We have a hard time deciding what to try first. Can't wait to go back and try more. Moussaka was delicious!

This small restaurant does not look like much from the outside but don't turn away! When we pulled in my husband gave me a glance and questioned my selection but as soon as we stepped inside he apologized and when we left he said, "You hit a home run picking that one!" We arrived around 6:15 pm and there were only 2 tables open, a 2 top and a 4 top, there are about 8 tables total. Everyone looked to be retired locals and each table seemed to be having a pleasant time. We tried the fried okra (ok), baba ganoush (good, veggie hating toddler ate it!), greek side salads (good, very fresh), souvlaki pork tenderloin (good), gyro sandwich (great), gyro platter (good, the greek potatoes are outstanding), italian rum cake (meh), and rice pudding (great). We'll be back on our next trip the Myrtle Beach!
