👍 Came in to get my food to-go. The guy at the register was nice. The atmosphere was definitely a Jamaican vibe. The place was clean. The food came out quick. The jerk chicken was baked, not grilled. The fried chicken was good. It would have been better if fresher. You could tell it was cooked either... People often mention chicken, Jamaican, fried, nice, rice, time, ordered, curry, good, peas,

Came in to get my food to-go. The guy at the register was nice. The atmosphere was definitely a Jamaican vibe. The place was clean. The food came out quick. The jerk chicken was baked, not grilled. The fried chicken was good. It would have been better if fresher. You could tell it was cooked either in the day because it was hard and dried out in spots. It's worth a try.

This is hands down, the best Caribbean food in South Carolina! The wait was a little long, but well worth it. We went around 5:30pm we made it before a big rush. The flavors were done impeccably well. The meat was tender. The peas and rice were mesmerizing. The cabbage 😩. This is the place to go.

I would have never known by the name that it was a Caribbean restaurant. But I saw the Jamaican flag on the outside. The food was excellent. The best Caribbean food that I have had in a long time. I was vacationing in myrtle beach. Well priced. Next time I visit I hope it is still there.

I walked in I thought it was warm inside however ordered, the food came out nice and hot. The oxtails are reasonably price, so I ordered that. I am also on a quest to find the best Jamaican fried chicken, so I ordered fried chicken also it was juicy and delicious, perfectly fried and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The only problem I had is I directly tipped an employee that worked there and a manager (I assume) literally walked over to her and took it from her hand and shoved it into a tip jar. He did it so aggressively I apologize that I didn’t know the policy. His response “it’s alright” (you gotta love Jamaicans🤣) I then proceeded to ask the employee (privately) and she said they share tips… but again his energy was way too aggressive for that $4 dollars. *This should’ve been 5 stars but they need to work on inside the restaurant.

Literally the best Jamaican food there is at the beach! This has became one of our regular lunch orders at work and it's amazing! The stew pork and rice & peas are too good! The price is also amazing. About $12 a person and with all the food you get, you can't beat it at all! If you want to try something you won't find anywhere else on the beach, definitely give them a call and pick a plate up!

Atmosphere is lovely, cut back on the season salt and it'll be good. Price is not too bad and the staff is very nice, so kudos for that.

This was some of THE BEST Caribbean food I’ve ever had. From the jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, rice and peas, to the chicken patty and cocoa bread! We were not disappointed with any of it. Service was great ! The establishment was clean. It was cool to see couples of all ethnicities and backgrounds eating in one place.

Good food and nice people. Stew chicken and curry chicken, cabbage and rice and peas (beans) and potato were excellent. They didn't have any beef patties available at the time we were there. We called, placed our order and picked up our order 15 to 30 minutes later. Plenty of seating available and they seem to have Apple device to accept credit card payments, Google Pay, Apple pay etc...

This food was great. The service was kind and prompt. They were fixing the air conditioner, but it did not take away from the atmosphere. I had the jerk chicken, and my husband had the oxtail. It was so flavorful and a little spicy in a great way!!!

The food was just what I needed; the curry goat was so tender, juicy, and so flavorful as well as the rice and sweet plantains, my husband got the jerk chicken, it was also delicious. The person behind the register was very pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this spot, so sad we live almost 6 hours away. Congratulations to the people cooking these amazing and comforting dishes

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO @Homestyle Restaurant. I grew up on Jamaican food. My favorite is curry chicken. When I say this was the very BEST I EVER HAD , is an understatement. Everything was PERFECTION. OMG!! I wish I could’ve brought them back to New York with me. I know there’s a good reason I don’t live close by. I would definitely put on a lot off weight if I did. If your ever in Myrtle Beach , and you like Jamaican food , this is where you need to go. Trust 😋😍🥰😋❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Amazing food! I’ve been to Jamaica and this is the most authentic Jamaican food I’ve eaten in the states! The staff is super nice and they exchanged some stories with my dad about times he’s gone to Jamaica to visit. The atmosphere is very nice as well! Make sure you buy one of the juices they have at the bar. The juice is specially made in Jamaica!

I love this place. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The music made you want to dance. The diners and guests were happy and there were lots of conversations. It felt like "Saturday cookout at mom's", a little loud, but everybody laughing and enjoying their meals and having a great time. The curry chicken and fried chicken chicken were served hot and delicious. The beer served cold, a perfect combination. I can't wait to try other meals on the menu!!

I decided to give this place a try after reading the other reviews. I ordered the jerk chicken, oxtails, and a side of fried chicken, especially after reading about how good the fried chicken was. I can say that the reviews were spot on. The food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the cabbage and wished that I had ordered a side of plantain because I could have eaten more. The portions were large and the food was flavorful. This is definitely one of the best Jamaican restaurants I have been to, and I will definitely be returning. In addition, I took my order to go, but the establishment was clean and the bartender was friendly. The wait wasn’t too long.

Upon arriving the place smelled amazing. Customer service was great. Never been here before so me and my husband wanted to try something new. Food in a timely manner and presentation was amazing. I was so excited to try something new (oxtails). Because we came 40 minutes before closing most of their sides were gone which was okay and to be expected. I was not satisfied with the oxtails. I had to add salt in order to remotely enjoy them. This was disappointing since it’s my first time trying them. My husbands chicken was also dried out and hard. Other than that our sides were the best parts of our plates.

We left without ordering. They didn’t have Jerk Chicken. They didn’t have Goat. They didn’t Oxtail. All they had was Fried or Curried Chicken….. and the guy at the counter didn’t bother to apologize or seem to care that the primary menu items were unavailable. We left and went to Clarendon Cuisine a mile away… and had a great meal.

Ok I was super Happy to find this place being Jamaican Food is my Favorite . It has a nice setup and not far from the Strip where our hotel was . The negative I ordered the brown stew chicken they was out of that then I ordered the curry chicken waited for 30 mins only for them to tell me they were out of that so I had to settle for ox tails or stew peas so I went with oxtails . But I still had to wait another 15 mins. Overall the price was cool the meal was about a 7 I would eat here again but check it out for yourself .

I've been wanting to try this place for years every time I go to Myrtle Beach. I finally did today and SHEESH!!! My Jerk chicken with rice & peas(with oxtail gravy), cabbage, and plantains was the best I've ever had state side! I sat on the beach & ate, and people at the beach were asking where it was from. This place is a new favorite!

All the way from the DMV, DC, Maryland, Virginia, this place has the best authentic Jamaican Cuisine in Myrtle Beach area. The service was friendly with nice music 🎶 and positive vibrations. If you catch the munchies for some real tasty eats, get to this spot quickly & tell them the guy that wears Beach ⛱️ Hut 🛖 Man🧍‍♀️sent you. You won't regret it...

Quick service and DELICIOUS food with very generous portions! My husband and I ordered jerk chicken and curry chicken. Orders came with rice/beans, cabbage and fried plantains. Definately one of our new favorite food spots in Myrtle Beach. 100% recommend!

Just might be the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had in my life. If not, they’re rice and peas are the best EVER.

I always feel at home at Homestyle! The service and atmosphere is always satisfying as is the food! I’ve never gotten a meal that ai didn’t enjoy. Not only would I dine there but also spent time studying there with the welcome and blessing of the manager and staff! Homestyle has become family.

Delicious, I had the fried red snapper and it was probably the best meal I’ve had on my trip to Myrtle beach. It comes with a lot of food and everything was so good. 10/10 recommend.
