Had the best time with the most awesome instructors! Jack (owner) and Azelyn gave us great tips on mine and my family’s first surf session! 100% Recommend this experience for a inexpensive fun time with friends or family.

I would recommend Jack’s to anyone. We signed up for the two hour surf lesson at Myrtle Beach and it was a blast! We were up and surfing like pros by the end of the first hour! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn to surf while on vacation! The price is cheaper the more people you have in your group, but I’d recommend the two hour option if you can do it. It was $55 for each person in our group of four people to give you an idea. The earlier in the day you can go, the better. Seth and Casper were great instructors! Very friendly and knowledgeable. It would have been nice to have our section of the beach blocked off so random people and kids don’t get in the way while we’re surfing. I almost hit people sometimes and that was a little annoying. Second, it was hard to hear the instructors over the waves, people, helicopters, etc. maybe invest in a microphone or something of the sort. We couldn’t hear half of the instructions and it stressed us out a bit.

Michael was a great guide. It was more like paddling with a bud. The 5:00pm slot was great for cool air and no other boat traffic. It was ride on boards, not actual kayaks so we had significant case of numb butt by the time we got back. Michael had no idea the tour description listed him as the "Best tour guide ever". He will be expecting a raise soon I am sure.

Found this online and what a great find! This is such a wonderful hidden gem. Our guide Michael was super friendly and had a lot of cool knowledge of the area and the wildlife. He was super chill and made the experience super relaxing. The views were so great. Didn’t see any alligators but saw some birds. All in all, I’d totally do it again in a heartbeat.

Michael was our tour guide for the kayaking experience this morning and he was amazing. He made sure that everyone knew what they were doing, making sure they were comfortable and on top of that he talked 90% of the experience. I definitely recommend this little experience, very worth the money and is beyond peaceful. We will be checking out the website and exploring more things to do with you guys :)

Highly Recommend! We Signed up for the 7:45 lesson online. Kevin was our lesson instructor. They did a great job on getting us going and going over everything we needed to get us in the water and start hitting the waves. I highly recommend! I thought I knew what I was but with out there basic fundamental instructions I was lost out there. If you want to surf this is a need to for good fun! Thank you guys for a great session!

We loved our 2hr surf lessons with Emily and Casper!! My family of the 4 of us all did the lesson and we had a great time. They were really great with us. They were knowledge, friendly, personable, and overall enjoyable. Great experience that we would do again and recommend!!

This was my first time, Michael my guide, was an absolute champion, he was kind, helpfull, and most Important of all he was super encouraging. This dude deserves a raise, he is perfect for the job. Overall though, it was an amazing experience, my girlfriend, her mom and I will be recommending and returning.

Shout out to Colt for building her confidence! She was so proud to show us what she learned all week. We were amazed with how well she took to the water and waves. My experience started with @Emily at the registration booth, she’s accommodating and friendly. Thanks for signing me up to a same day lesson that worked best with my busy itinerary. Next was @Angela, she’s knowledgeable and professional instructor. Her pleasing personality and work ethic is above and beyond! Considering our group that had no experience at all, she made sure that we are going to be safe and had fun the whole time during our session. It is always good to learn while having fun at the same time. Indeed a memorable learning experience with her. My daughter and I had a blast with Kevin. Very patient and informative. We both were able to stand up several times! At 57, was on my bucket list and will probably take another lesson before we leave. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our SUP tour with Casper! He was super nice and made sure everyone was comfortable. The paddle boards were a little more challenging to stand on than previous ones I’ve tried BUT these boards had the coolest feature… they turned into kayaks 🫢 Would definitely recommend for a fun excursion with your family!

Fantastic experience here. Kevin was very patient with my 3 teenagers and had them all surfing by the end of the 2 hours. 1 is not enough if you want time to really practice and get advice after learning the basics. He did a great job of explaining the basics while on the beach then brought them in the water. Highly recommend.

I have had kids here multiple times and I cannot say enough about how pleased I am repeatedly with the services provided. Knowledge, tact, courteous, respect, friendliness and safety, this place has all of these and more. The best money I have spent for my children and myself. My son is 18 and this is his second lesson and he has shown a huge improvment. Today, 21 July 2022 his instructor was Kevin and he was awesome, and easily explained the faults my son had and helped him improve. Kevin made my son feel like a rock star. More than the two hour enjoyment my son got or pictures I have taken of my son, today we made memories the will stay with us for our lives! Thank You Kevin and Jack's Surf Shop!

I was supposed to go with my family of 8. So I called to make sure where we were supposed to meet and Jack gave me good directions on where to go. But the day we were supposed to go we weren’t feeling well, I didn’t know what to do. So I contacted them and let me tell you Jack is so nice! He was very understandable. He gave me a credit for next year which was really nice of him to do! I can’t thank him enough for the whole experience.

My brother and I had surfing lessons at this place last week and it was so fun! Kevin was our instructor and he made sure we understood all the fundamentals and stayed safe the whole session. I took my 3 kids surfing and it was the best experience for all of us! My daughter, 15 years old, picked up quickly and surfing on her own within the first hour. My 2 sons ages, 10 and 8, did great too. My 10 year old son was surfing own his own and loved surfing or even when waves would tumble him he had a great time. My 8 year old had a little trouble get out deep enough but instructors quickly came to help him and within the second hour had my 8 year surfing own his own! Great experience and great staff! We will be back soon!

Took the grandkids there for surf lessons. Did the 2-hour package the kids were worn out at the end of 2 hours. The instructors were great, had the kids standing up on the board in the waves within the first 15 minutes. Great experience.
