We booked the hotel for 3 nights. Upon arriving at the hotel we instantly saw it was far different than that of the pictures shown via the website. When entering the room, we were stunned by how different the room was compared to the pictures. Firstly, we tried turning on the lights; they were, however, broken and thus we were only able to use the lamps and bathroom as lighting. The smell from this room was terrible, something one should never smell upon arriving at the hotel. We, too, saw rodents. Completely unacceptable. We only stayed at the hotel for about 20 minutes because of how bad it was. After this terrible experience we went down to the lobby to request a refund. We explained how it was different from the pictures and how it was unacceptable. We were immediately told she could not do anything and that she would email the manager for the refund. Nobody had contacted us ever. We strongly recommended nobody go to this hotel; save your money.

When we arrived the room wasn’t ready, so we patiently waited and done some shopping. Came back, really wish we had checked out our room, before paying, but girls were excited to get to the beach. After checking things out and we realized our room had bugs, there were huge cracks in the door, the door could be pushed open from the outside, not safe. The tub wouldn’t drain while taking a shower, the room smelled horrible, the bedspread was nasty. The pool was so nasty hadn’t been cleaned. We had to go buy bug spray. At this point we went to the office tried getting a refund, cause we were not spending the night, of course the lady at the front deck refused a refund said the manager had to refund our money. So at 11 o’clock we were looking for another room. We never stayed in the room, while we were at another location the front desk clerk was trying to rent the room out that we had paid for already. We went back everyday to talk to the manager, he was no where to be found. Mind you this place doesn’t deserve to stay open, the pictures on the website are deceiving they are photoshopped. Beware of this place, I give it a 0

We just left and our stay was Good. I booked the palace before reading reviews so once I did I was terrified to stay. To my surprise all was Well. My room was nice and clean everything worked. The only issue I had was my shower head was a little raggedy but I fixed it to work they way it needed to. I stayed with 3 kids and the pool was nice and clean and big went to 8ft. So don't be deceived by these review it was not as bad as these reviews make it to be and is perfect for one nights stay.

Horrible experience rooms are dirty, doors don’t close right. You can find family of cockroaches and bugs in the rooms. The hotel staff will have a attitude with you. The pictures online don’t look anything the real place. I rented two rooms for three nights one room didn’t work it wouldn’t open I asked for a new room they said no, later we left at night to eat, came back and we was locked out we couldn’t open the door and no one was there to help us. We had to rent another hotel we asked if they can charge us one night they said okay but charged us all three nights. We had to call our bank to get our money back but the owner lied and said we spent all three nights there. Worst experience ever with this hotel. If you want horrible service, rooms filled with bugs, and manager and the owners who are big liars, this is the hotel for you.

I wish I could have given this place 0 star. I needed a quick one night stay with my fiance and kids. I got there at 12 was told there were no rooms available to go back 1 hour later which i did because me and my son needed to use the bathroom but were told the room wasnt available yet and that they didnt have a bathroom in the lobby. Left and came back 6 hrs later to get greeted by a couple of other guests who told me to not stay there because there were holes everywhere in the room, cockroaches, bathtub, toilet and appliances didn't work. No towels and that pool was disgusting. They had to have their rooms changed so many times. They warned me and told me to look at the room before I went in. I spoke to my fiance and we went to check it out and it was completely disgusting, I would rather sleep in my car with my family than sleep at such a disgusting place. The best part was my son needed to use the bathroom and spotted one in the lobby, in which i was told there was none. I left those keys right there and walked out. The lady was so unhelpful and disrespectful. I warn everyone please do not stay there.

Stayed for three days with my folks,and as far as the room,it was nice. Right on the ocean, great view,and plenty to do within walking distance. The downside was my interaction with a member of the staff. My assumption is that she was a housekeeper, nonetheless,she was VERY rude to myself and my son. I have no idea what her name was, because although I ask,she declined to tell me, and there wasn't anyone in the office. All I can say is, if you stay here, steer CLEAR of the Hispanic lady. My son and I ask her three times for some towels after getting out of the pool, and was ignored all three times, before FINALLY being helped by another cleaning lady. The Hispanic lady was to busy on her phone and rolling her eyes to help us. She kept mumbling things under her breath and just flat out was RUDE. If you stay here, stay away from HER. Other than that, it was fine

The place must have been renovated since the last people's reviews because when my boyfriend stayed here for one night 5/12/19 to 5/13 our room was clean, didn't have any foul odor, and everything worked fine for us. Plus, from the style of the room you could tell it had been redone at least within the last five or so years. We were in town overnight for a concert so we didn't use the shower but it looked clean, and the tub faucet worked for me when I rinsed the sand off my feet from the beach which, by the way, is literally the hotel's backyard! Overall it was a comfortable no-frills place to crash overnight and aside from being disappointed about no breakfast (which wasn't a problem since there are SO many places to eat very close by), we had a great experience here. Check in/out was fast and nothing to complain about

Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. Stayed 2 days and was very pleased with room 204. Some reviews say they have bugs but I didn't see a single one. The sheets were clean, and room smelled like cleaning products. Front desk was very nice and accommodating. I was worried because of reviews but I had a great stay. All the people complaining must live in a mansion and raised with a silver spoon and have immaculate houses or something. I will definitely return for another stay here!

Booked a room with a double bed, when we got in our room it looked like the beds hadn't even been made. There were cigarettes burns on the blanket, which looked and felt like a curtain. The shower didnt even have a shower head. The air in the room didnt work. The carpet was stained and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. However we did have a balcony with an amazing beach view and beach access. But the door wouldn't close completely or lock. The pool was nice and clean. They advertised breakfast but all they had was coffee and muffins. The hotel is old and definitely needs to be updated. Stayed one night, would not recommend.
