👍 SELF SERVICE! The chicken palav here is good to taste. It costs 150/- [biriyani with 3 pieces + boiled egg(half)+ raaitha] 'Chicken kshathriya' (140/-) here is also good. Give it a try! The place is little congested with limited seats. You've to wait on busy days. There's no much place for parking.... People often mention good, biryani, people, chicken, pieces, great, taste,

They really REALLY need to expand or move to a bigger location. Visited twice earlier and left to another hotel cause the crowd was too much with no place to even stand. 3rd time waited for more than half an hour and finally got to try it. Taste & quality is really good. But I found the Chilly Chicken gravy contained very less pieces (only 3) and filled only with gravy. So quantity if increased would be good, including in the rice. Very less pieces!! Over all great taste and all the dishes were good! But please expand, cause you're losing out customers

One of the best biryani I have had. Mutton pulao and Kshatriya kabab were top notch. The great taste of SGS Gundu pulao is upheld. Highly recommended.

Palav is very good , they give onions, lemon and cucumber and half egg with it. The chicken chops was not that good it was rather of a watery consistency. Totally the food is ok but the only drawback is that it's not much of a family restaurant as most of the times it's always men coming there and it's very noisy , so take away dining would be better.

Not up to the mark like Bangalore Chickpet branch, the pieces are not good, and food will not be warm at all

Gundu Palav is a must for budget eaters and light on the stomach. If you are looking to go out and have something to eat around Saraswathipuram, this is the place. Before going get to know the good and bad things about this place. Good- The food is good and the place is quite convenient to dine in or takeaway. The beeda is also good after a fulfilling meal. Service is topnotch and they maintain personal cleanliness. (The kitchens are kept exceptionally clean.) Bad- although clean, the washroom can be maintained pretty well and hygiene should be maintained around the corners. Without 'serva' the pulav is just plain pulav. If added to the menu then it will be great.

Recently, I accompanied some friends to this restaurant renowned for its legendary biryani after it spammed their IG feed. While the hype surrounding the dish mostly lived up to expectations, some aspects of the experience could definitely be improved. The star of the show, the biryani, was indeed exceptional. The tender, flavorful chicken and fragrant rice perfectly complemented each other along with the creamy, tangy raita. It was the perfect counterpoint to the rich flavors of the biryani. The friendly and attentive staff ensured a fun and enjoyable dining experience especially whether they were being sarcastic or rizzing.I'm not sure. The affordable price made the biryani a great value for money option. Ample lemon and onion slices were provided, enhancing the overall taste experience. While delicious, the biryani could benefit from a slightly higher rice-to-meat ratio. The restaurant surprisingly served the biryani on paper plates, which felt cheap and inconvenient. The restaurant's ambience lacked any unique charm or atmosphere except Dr. Puneeth Rajakumar's photo. Despite the minor drawbacks, the delicious biryani and positive aspects of the dining experience make this restaurant worth visiting. However, improvements to the rice portion and plate choice would further enhance their overall value proposition.

One of the worst hotel I've ever ate ...I think Just for the name sake people are referring other people... Pls don't do that .. devi hanumanthu is faaaaaar more better than this ... 1.These(Gundu palav) people doesn't even provide a proper plate to eat... They gave paper plate which torn off while eating.... Even a ride side fast food provides a plate ... 2. Can u eat biriyani with out sherva?? I don't think so ... These people doesn't provide sherva ... 3. They don't give hot water... Normally for the digestion purpose people drink hot water but they didn't give ... 4. Limited menu 👎🏻👎 5. Less quantity rice and mutton pieces 6. Can't compare these people to road side fast food people... They(road side) give better service than this people.. worst mistake I've made is instead of devi hanumanthu I went gundu palav ... Lesson learned ✓ ✅

👍👍 Both veg and non veg food served are good. We ordered something new called Coin Paratha and it was worth trying. Paneer butter masala was classic. Do try the burger from Easy Bites(their snack section), so soft and absolutely delicious!

😠 Worst place to have any kind of food. The queue to enter this place can take more than 20 minutes and the food is below average. One single mutton biryani, with 2 small pieces of mutton costs 290 rupees. Pappad is extra and costs 10 rupees for one. Customer service is the worst. They don't have an o...

👍 Couldn’t miss this place out of curiosity seeing the great reviews and of course the hotel name having ‘Original’ in bold! Came here for dinner on a weekend - the menu is limited and the place is tiny - so be ready to wait for your turn. The dosa here is very soft - the taste is quite different but...
