A place we often go to have a relaxed time with the gang. Their food depends on the cooks mood ( no kidding) being a regular at this place we have ordered the same dish multiple times and every time it tastes different. It's good but don't be suprised if you get something half cooked or burnt. The service is SLOW. Go when you have ample of time and patience. Their pricing is decent.

This is the classic oldest bar of Mysore. Bopy’s owned by a Coorgie family is a perfect place which offers best hospitality, food and pub. All good old places. Has multiple sections like garden, open, inside and family area. Caters all the population in Mysore. A very good hangout place. Food is amazing especially pork and others. Decently affordable. Staff is very well trained and well behaved. Usually crowded on weekday and weekends. Never got disappointed.

Great ambience! Mix of outdoors and indoors. Awesome variety of food! Great initiative to provide half plates. Excellent rates. Sameer was our server, very polite and helpful. Only one miss, Caramel Custard was very bitter. And when we complained, they refused to accept it.

Best place to taste coorgi style dishes, presentation and serving is a plus to the management. Ambience is full of greenary. You may find bit far when coming from heart of mysore.

I walked in the resto n thou all the seats were empty the waiter said all the seats are reserved ... initially I thought that's fine.. n food was ordered but he took like 35 min to get one food order n later found out that the food was prepared before but server was busy to serve us... I had to send the food to reheat as had ordered to serve hot food... now I got the food after 15 min post reminding the waiter n second time also the food was bloody cold... I tripped on the waiter for which the owner defended the waiter and indirect told us the waiter said he will not serve you the food and you may leave the premises... I,found no remorse at,all I owner that customer was not served well... all he was bothered was o tripped on the waiter... I think I may,never visit this bloody place ever again.

Awesome variety of food! Great initiative to provide half plates. Amazing food taste and the ambience is good and decent crowd. Thier pork dishes especially fiery grill pork is good and Raja chicken, Chicken samosa, Spanish omlete, Dindigul dum biriyani are the few items to try, also try their Irish coffee.

One of our favorite pubs at Mysore. We visit Bopy's a minimum of twice a month, that's how much we love the beer and food here. The hosts are awesome people and great conversation starters, they make sure every guest is comfortable and are open to feedback. A couple of times we've been served complimentary dishes as well by the management. This place even boasts a massive car parking space. Service is absolutely awesome, special praise to Mr. Baban. We generally sit in the family section, but other seating areas are also great including the open to air seating space. Must try starters are - chicken mirchi kabab, tandoori pepper kabab, fire pork, Coorg chilly pork, all the tandoori style chicken starters (they are served at the table on skewers over a small coal stove), the peanut masala (raja special) also is a must try dish here. Do not miss the chicken samosa too. Mangalore and Coorg style maincourse available include neer dosa/akki roti with curry combos. The Dindigul biryani available on weekends have to be tried. This is served packed in plantain leaf which infuses flavour into the rice. The draught beer (KF and ultra) are super awesome, as are the cocktails. Among the deserts must haves are - Apricot brandy, Irish coffee, brownie with vanilla ice cream and their very own fresh figs with vanilla ice cream. Edit 1 - updated list of must try items, new items on the menu - Nippat masala, spicy chicken wings, mango pudding. Edit 2 - They have added 3 new dishes to the already expansive menu - Chicken Sholay kabab - this was tasty with a fairly spicy and tangy flavour served on their signature coal rack. Other new items are Chef fried chicken and mutton kheema ball dry/fry/curry. The kheema curry is high in demand so we’ve still not been able to taste it. Looking forward to having it on our next visit. We thank Bopy’s for the complimentary chicken Bihari served on the previous visit when we missed the mutton kheema ball curry. Chicken Bihari is a boneless shredded chicken dish with capsicum and onions which is a great accompaniment for beverages. Edit 3 - They have added many new dishes - we love the Tandoori chilly chicken - it’s very tangy and a great side dish. The bitter sweet lime (non alcoholic beverage) is also quite unique. We cannot get over the amazing biryani, home style chicken curry and coffee pudding which still remain our all time favourites. You should definitely check out the offers on tandoori starters they have introduced. It remains our favourite pub in Mysore.

Old style pub in mysore based on coorg or kodagu style cuisines. Food is quite great, all types are foods are there. However will suggest to try mixed fried rice(comes with mutton and pork if you say yes), coorg style pepper chicken (must try), fish tikka. In liquor very very less options of cocktails are there(the only cons I have found here), other standard vodka whiskey rum brandy tequila are available. Will suggest to try Brandy and coffee tequila shot (must try). Parking and washroom available, both good. It feels like you went back in old time(20-30years back), one can take it as good or bad as per their choice. Overall great one and good to try.

Food is good. Crowded. The alley to reach this place I felt is shady. As long as you are in a car you will feel safe. Once you reach Bopys it is different ambience all together. GPS took us to some route as the Bopys is behind certain building.

This place is different. It's good for beer lovers to chill and relax on weekends. Finger foods are tasty which brings out local coorg flavours. The ambience is amazing, calm chilled and relaxed. A must visit place..

Worst place, worst service, worst staff. Too costly for a city like mysore. I have visited number of hi fi restaurants in Chennai, Bangalore n Hyderabad no where I have served too less a quantity for too high a a price. There pork dishes are one of the worst, even your village guy can cook locally available pork much better than these so called coorg experts. This is an injustice to the coorg cuisines. Pl don't go search for some other restaurants in mysore. It's waste of time n money here.You will for sure get frustrated.

Got to know about this place through Zomato go out page and found they offer Zomato pro discount in dining which is amazing. Pretty good ambience for a weekend dinner with friends and family. . Food quality is above average in terms of both taste and quantity. Best part is they offer half portion of almost all dishes in their menu. It was great to see all the staffs and waiters taking proper precautions like hand gloves, mask and hair cover. Service is decent. All types of liquor are available. Chicken Kolhapuri and kulcha is a must try.

The food tasted really awful. I don't know what has happened to this place, it was not this bad few years ago. We ordered 8 items including starters and main course. Everything tasted bland, the maincourse gravy watery and the starters were edible but the qty was disappointing. The half portion comes in a tiny small bowl and full portion Gobi manchurian had like 10 small flowerettes of cauliflower. We went for lunch and there were not many people in the restaurant as well. We did ask them to replace a gravy, the manager got us a replacement without any questions but even that item was disappointing. 2 stars are for the ambience and the staff. I would rate 0 for the food. Mango pudding was below average.

Nyc place...good coordination with customers...Bar nd Restuarant with PUB...but the prizes r little bit high...nd good place for frnds nd couples to enjoy the day...

Out of the limited restaurants I visited in Mysore, this one was best in terms of taste. While the caramel custard was a huge miss, the pork chilly, bullet chicken, veg pulao and fig ice cream were excellent. Great place to hang out with good food.

We visited Bopys's on a Wednesday evening and had a great time here. Although we had several items, Coorg Style Pork in starters was the unanimous favourite dish. Other items such as Pepper Chicken, Fire Pork and Chicken Curry were also great. The staff members were very attentive and friendly. The overall atmosphere at the restaurant was also very nice.

A warm and cozy place to begin with. The ambience is nice but not great. Food was really good. Especially pork on fire was great. Mutton was well prepared. The staff is courteous so overall a good experience..!

Quite ok with food and all service need to be quick , cozy environment if the screen be fixed out in the middle could be more useful. Over all above average . cheese nuggets was good chicken nuggets but was not available in restaurant .

Had horrible experience going there with family. Slow service, cold and tasteless food is the offering there. Draught beer comes warm and without fizz. Dishes came cold 40 mins after ordering. When said it’s cold, they take it back and comes 10 mins later after reheating the same food which would have lost its taste. When asked to talk to the owner, the staff says he is busy at the cash/billing counter. I think the owner wants to count only cash instead of giving good food for his customer. Have not seen such an arrogant staff or restaurant management. I think Bopy’s owner is still in an imagination that whatever he offers, people will accept that. High time they come out of that bubble to the reality.

Good place to chill with Friends. They have a nice outdoor setup in the evening which gives a good vibe to the place. The service at the bar and restaurant was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they were always available to offer recommendations or answer any questions we had. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great balance of casual and classy vibes. Overall, I highly recommend this bar and restaurant for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. From the diverse menu to the expertly crafted dishes, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere, everything about this place was exceptional. I can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes!

Very nice place to go for spending a liesurly evening. Good atmosphere, good tasty food & drinks, good & courteous service. I recommend people to go there. We went there dinner & enjoyed fully.

Best food ever, all the dishes are cooked with homely taste. My personal favourite is Mishti Doi dessert. Very few restaurants have such kind of menu where all the food items have good taste. Most recommended restaurant.

One of the oldest bar and restaurant of Mysuru which has both indoors and outdoor seating. The ambience is wonderful especially during night with lights. Their Irish coffee is to go for drink without miss. And their food is tasty and serve half plate which is a great thing 👍🏻
