While some dishes like biriyani are cheap, mutton fry was charged Rs 200 but only for 4 pieces. They don't accept cards. Good place for daily labourers. Nothing more

Catla fish is tasty, mutton biryani is pakka blended, chicken chilly masth, chicken pepper dry good. Don’t order any juice.

five star for fast service, hygiene 3.5 star, food quality 4 star, quantity 3 star. Don't mix the name, its not a Maratha style food restaurant, you will find the taste of Andhra and Karnataka only. The place is somehow difficult to find as you will hardly found a board here, someone standing in the road will tell you that there is the restaurant/mess.

Head out here to have home cooked meals. The food tastes exactly like how they would cook at home. The flavours and spices are blended together and cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. While we had to wait for sometime to get a table, the wait was worth the food. This typical mess serves some fantastic non veg food that is priced reasonably and tastes great. Afternoons generally are crowded here, but the tables are made available as soon as the customers vacate, so one has to wait for about 10 mins or so. We ordered fish fry, Andhra chilly chicken, chicken kabab, chicken biriyani and mutton biriyani. All of these foods were fantastic and we did not leave anything behind! Highly recommended for all those foodies who visit Mysore. Cash, cards and phone based payment accepted here. Cars can be parked in front of this place, if it’s full park in the next lane and walk to this place.

Hi all, I had heard about it a lot, gave my first visit today, I went with chicken biryani and fish fry Chicken pieces of biriyani well cooked and tasty, rice part not of my liking, spread with micro masala pieces, felt like have tasted it somewhere I only give 3.5 out of 5 for chicken biryani. Fish fry 80/per slice really good, chutney was really different, not well ground, but tasted good, it qa not a usual green chutney, Guys sitting opposite me told, they visit here from past 5 years, and mutton biriyani is their choice Will visit next time to try mutton biriyani

This one of those places that are particularly popular with locals. Thanks to the vloggers, even the outsiders are finding their way to this mess which had been serving Maratha military hotel style delicacies in a mess set up for quite a while now. I tried the keema balls along with rice and chicken curry and chops. It’s more than worth their pocket friendly prices. I have to visit this place a few more times in the coming days.

Biriyani, keema, kebab, mutton chops everything was very good. Mild & less spicy good place for kids & family to enjoy local style food. They are open only for lunch.

One thing is for sure, if u r visiting first time u will definitely feel the taste is good, value for money.. But quantity is less on side dishes.. Can try out Marata Mess.

This is just a hyped restaurant not at all tasty food Biriyani is like rice is drier side and mutton pieces they usually serve only bones very little quantity and sides are just below average compare to other hotels like Laxman mess and Supriya Marathas only cook they are very delicious and quantity is good too. Pricing compare to this are lesser. Poor service and their attitude is not acceptable. They are running this hotel to just making money that’s it.
