Very basic but clean and tidy rooms. Washroom don't have exhaust fan. Not so comfortable beds but OK. Simple complimentary breakfast. Good location attracts many more. Suitable for business people, small families on tours.

Room : Not clean at all. Good bed. very small for the price and branding of Ginger. Food : Complimentary breakfast was okay.. not bad ... Dinner... They take very very long..half hr min to give the order Chicken 65 tasted like bhujiya, it wasnt cookdd well... couldn't eat Gobi Manchurian was just ok Paneer curry was okay Could be due to covid losses.. But i would prefer to go to Empire(Mysore) and have dinner. I can eat tasty and filling food for almost 40% less price

Stayed in Ginger Mysore and had poor experience. When complained about hot/warm water not coming in the shower, they sent a man after 10 minutes. What can he do in the bathroom having centralized water heating system. Do they think that guests would not know how to open a tap clearly marked with "hot". Took my bath with cold water. After about 15 minutes another man came, by which time warm water started coming. Since the hotel was full, apparently the boiler is not able to take care of all the rooms. Poor experience

Location - Very good, close to most of the attractions Rooms- Congested for a family, quite old rooms that require renovation. Bedsheets were old, bathroom mug was very sticky. Service- good- bathroom was not cleaned from previous stay. we ended up calling reception many times and they react well. Ideal thing is for the reception or admin to ensure that rooms/bathrooms are cleaned and geyser/other equipments are working before allotting the rooms to new guest

A bad experience. We booked two rooms. AC was not at all working. Room service was not at all good. Didn't provide anything other than soap toilet. Flask was dysfunctional. They kept a fridge in one of the rooms, but not working. Response from reception is poor. During a pleasure trip who wants to argue, but it just happened here. One lightning is , the parking staff were cordial, even though there wasn't ample parking space.

Rooms are the smallest i have ever come across in 3k budget. Room service is pathetic. Doors don't lock properly, TV services not available, hot water in shower not available. Location is good at a walkable distance from zoo. Food of the restaurant is ok. Hotel room and services are a lot over priced. The hotel doesn't do justice to the brand.

The hotel is clean and well maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere. Given the proximity to the Railway station (2 kms away), it is an ideal place to stay in for tourists. Nearby attractions include the Mysore Palace, Mysore Zoo and the lake. The staff are polite and helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and uneventful. Breakfast was good, with a limited selection of dishes, but with good taste and hygiene. For tourists, we would recommend to have a chat with the person at the tourism desk (near the lift), as he has a deep knowledge of the city and the places to visit. There is a bus stand nearby, as well as auto facilities available just outside the hotel. This is a great budget friendly hotel to stay with family and friends.

I often visit this place. This time the experience was good so I am leaving a good review. The lady at the reception understood our requirement and gave us a good room this time. The food was also good morning this time. The overall experience was better this time than last time. The place is also close to many tourist attractions and is in almost city center. This time upon request got a room with good bathroom.

Had a nice experience staying at the Ginger Mysore for a night. The rooms were comfortable, overall, and the service at the restaurant was good too. And yes, we had our lunch there which was also quite tasty. One major issue I saw was the cable television was out of recharge. I feel, atleast some channels could've been activated. That was one let-down for me, frankly. Located at a convenient spot, which is close by to the market and about 2kms. from Mysore Palace, Ginger hotel overall made sure we had a comfy stay.

Room was good. Service is lil late, Tea and coffee is for 100/- which is too expensive and not worth it. Food prices are high and doesn't have much options. While check out they want money but didn't gave detailed bill and when i asked they said i will get through email or what's app which i still did not received it. They want money but they don't show for what we are paying for. Wish i could have stayed at a better place. Booked tickets through make my trip and it wont allow to leave review and they submitted their own review.

Nothing(which are considered default in any average hotel) was provided to us, we had to ask everything explicitly including tv remote, towels etc. Water in bathroom was not getting drained out, we had to request for a wiper and use it ourselves during the entire stay. Food options weren't good either. The window in the room couldn't get closed, it remained slightly open during the entire duration of our stay.

I stayed here for 3 days and the overall experience was very beautiful. The food available in all modes - restaurant, a la carte, and dinner, was very tasty and in good quantity. The biggest plus point of this hotel is the location. It is so easily accessible from all main tourist locations and the quality of roads nearby is also very good. We went by own car and had no issue in safety. They had nice parking within the hotel premises. The rooms were smaller than expected but that was not much of an issue. Will like to visit again.

It's bit old hotel. Everything is dull & yellow. Staff doesn't speak or understand much Hindi. They don't say while you request for anything but you have to pay for it when you do a checkout. I paid 600/- for extra matress, after making a booking and paying all the necessary amount at the time of booking. Make sure, you make everything clear twice before asking for anything. There are other good options available nearby.

I thought Ginger is a great brand since I heard it from many people. But my opinion was wrong when I had been there for a vacation. The rooms are very bad, especially bathrooms. They will not provide any toiletries as a compliment, I was charged 36rs for a toothbrush and paste lol. Many hotels give them for free and provides as much we ask. Staffs are very rude and not friendly. Id prefer to sleep in my car next time rather than booking a room in this slum place. Grow up Ginger, be friendly and helpful to the customers and they pay a lot of money for stay. PS: Never opt for free breakfast here, a guy next to this hotel makes a delicious breakfast in the cart and for reasonable amount. xD

24hrs check-in system is not available. Hotel Internet is slow. If you need high speed, chargeable basis / per hour basis. However the location is good and neat and clean rooms. Complimentary breakfast is good.

Except location nothing is great about this property. Overpriced rooms.. I paid 2800+taxes room with double bed but sad to see the bed was a little bigger than a single bed, size of the room was so small that after keeping my luggage it felt suffocating. I asked for extra bed and awesome they didn't know how big the room is , got a huge bed which couldn't not fit in only.. Dental kits were chargeable, food was below average. Not at all kids friendly. I won't recommend this for families to stay there I have been a frequent user of ginger hotels but never felt so dissatisfied. I blindly booked this hotel for my family only bcoz I had awesome experience with Ginger in past

It's located in a good place in the midst of Mysore and within walking distance to the zoo. It has decent parking space for cars too which many hotels in Mysore don't have. But don't buy food from the restaurant there. It's overpriced and under quality. The food didn't taste good neither felt appetizing. The double room seemed fine and we could check in before the official time of 2.30pm. There were complimentary tea, coffee packs, tea maker and 2 water bottles. They had changed the bedsheets, soap, toilet paper as well when we were away from the room. Overall service was good. Costed me 2800/night during the Deepawali days in 2023. On other days the price is lesser by around 40-50%.

Had a unique experience where the room key card did not work once for the entire stay! Had to call someone from the reception every time I wanted to get in my hotel! The hotel’s location is good and tourist attractions are nearby. Parking could be a challenge if occupancy is high. Considerable if nothing else is available.

Nice Hotel only for Service & Location. As we were travelling as a family rooms were very much small compare to other Ginger hotels. Nice Buffet Breakfast with very nice varieties. Need to add dormitories Rooms for Drivers. Driver has to sleep in car only. As customer is ready to pay for driver but they should provide the drivers room.

Check In : Check in process was fine, however the access card to the room they gave was not working when we reached the room. Had to wait a good ten minutes for the room to get opened finally by their staff. Also we had to carry the luggage in the trolley up to the room, there was no help offered nor anybody to assist. This was very tiring especially after a long journey and since we had heavy luggage. 2/5 Post check in: checked in around 7:15 pm and we had to call them by 9:15 pm for the extra bed which hadn’t come by then. Second call had to be again made after 15 minutes of no show and the bed finally came around 10pm. This was very disappointing as we had a child and a senior citizen in the touring party and all of them had to wait. 2/5 Food: The food was very tasty even through the menu was limited. 4/5 Check out: was a breeze compared to check in. Security guards: very helpful in arranging parking for the car and behaviour too. 5/5 for them.. Overall 2.5 / 5

Excellent food, took care of my preferences like less spicy and my family loved it. Giving 4 star only because of the room quality, which could have been better. Other gingers throughout the country have better rooms.

A comfortable budget hotel under the Tata brand. The rooms are clean. Some of the toiletries are free, some others like brush, shaving kit and paste are payable. The room has a kettle, water bottles, and tea coffee packs. The room we got had very a good view. The breakfast buffet had a decent spread. We did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel. The hotel is close to sightseeing places. The travel desk at the hotel is also helpful. The staff were helpful and polite. Overall a good experience. Recommended for families and business visitors.

This was a great place to visit. But went after covid and this place is in ruins. Pros: Service is very good. Staff is nice and we'll trained. Cons: The rooms: The door opening cards could not be programmed because the machine didn't work. The room was looking very old. May be very less upkeep since covid lockdowns Very shabby paint job done on the walls. The bathrooms were all stained and white cement was shabbily put between the tiles. Even an average bathroom would be cleaner. Had booked 2 rooms, one of the room never got hot water. Breakfast was good for the 250 amount they usually charge. But overall taste was just okay. The guy selling the handcraft stuff is very intrusive.

Complimentary breakfast was not having much options. Food was good. In terms of stay, ginger's rooms are small. Good hospitality. They have interconnected rooms also.

  • 3/5 Neelesh G. 2 years ago on Google
Kind of disappointed considering the brand. To start with Cons Bed size is small if you have a good. Only place that I know of which doesn't provide dental kit complementary and they charge 25/- for it. Most of the things you have to ask and then only they are provided. Basic things like AC remote or fridge not checked and sorted when you complain. Food items taste just fine barring Tea which is expensive and tasteless. Drinking water arrangement can be lot better. Pros Parking Near main tourist spots. Solve issues promptly. Provide iron.

  • 3/5 Sushant R. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are very small. Rooms are not maintained well enough. This hotel is not worth the price you pay for stay. However, breakfast is good. Limited menu available for lunch and dinner.

  • 2/5 Suj X. 2 years ago on Google
Cost cutting visible everywhere and in everything. The hotel doesn't provide half the items promised on MMT where I booked. No mini fridge, no hand towels, no dryer, no toilet paper. Even the ones they give aren't clean. We ended up not using the kettle. The bucket and mug reminds you of a cheap motel. Breakfast is basic to say the least. Not worth. Except for the proximity to the zoo, there's nothing going for it.

  • 2/5 Jay S. 1 year ago on Google
I expected better room condition. Door card reader has issues repeatedly.. loud noise from fan . Housekeeping not thorough with checklist before handing over the keys.. staff tried their best. But I can tell mgmt not doing their job in enforcing quality . Breakfast buffet was awesome

Budget hotel with great service, staff and most important clean. Location is easily accessible by all the tourist attractions. Staff especially Kiran, Abdul, Faizul and the rest of the kitchen staff provides great service, looks after all your smallest needs. Great for family stay

Very average for the price. Paid 5k+ for a night. Not worth the money at all. Food was good, and so were the staff. Overall quality can be better. Price can also be revisited.

Pathetic hotel and it doesn’t lives up to its name. Delays in basic services like cleaning doing cleaning around 3 PM. Not changing bed sheets. Very basic Complimentry breakfast with very few options. Staff is not supportive. I hope they will revamp their hotel lights in room are very old fashioned they should be given 1 star on quality I don’t have the option to give negative stars. Otherwise I would have given the same. I recommend if you are planning to book please look for some four star hotels for some extra bugs. Highly disappointed with Ginger never book it in my life.

My worst experience in this hotel. I got the ground floor room and to my surprise there are cockroaches every where in that room. Cleanliness of room is so bad. Bathroom hygiene is not so good and did not even provide toothpaste and brush as well. The best part is they did not recharge their tata sky and charge nearly 5K for the room. Will not recommend not will ever stay here. Will surely change the hotel next day.

Decent and clean rooms. Soap, shampoo, towels made available but misses brush and toothpaste. Near to main road and easily located. Polite and courteous staff. Good parking space available. Central place to easily visit Palace, Chamundi hills, zoo and other local joints.

Neat, clean and good !!. Great location i must say. Good for family n couples . Very near to every major place in Mysore. Sufficient 4 wheeler parking. Small restaurant to order some food. SBI ATM inside hotel premises is a plus.

  • 3/5 Muhammed U. 1 year ago on Google
Good once upon a time but now just okay! Stayed several times since around ten years but a bit unsatisfied this time. Great location due to nearby Zoo, Palace, Mall and several restaurants. The security personnel very much helpful for parking, otherwise you will find parking a bit difficult. An SBI ATM at the entrance but ATMs are no longer a necessity. Cafe coffee day outlet in the lobby is closed and restaurant makes a typical menu. I felt a staff shortage during check in, no room boy to help with luggages. Rooms have not been renovated post COVID but it doesn't mean rooms are horrible. Just fell short of expectations. No refrigerator in one of our two rooms, only one towel kept in wash room for two adults and one kid, bath rooms stinky at times, magnetic door latch of bathroom stuck with the magnet (no door closure possible, see photos), Security chain of the door broken (hence useless, see photos). Didn't use the ground floor restaurant this time, rather you have a lot of good and famous restaurants nearby.

  • 2/5 Shivanand A. 2 years ago on Google
The room size is very small. The bed is lesser than queen size. Most of the facilities are given on request basis only. I had to call them even for hot water while they claim that hot water is available for 24hrs. Did not see even half of facilities listed on MMT while booking. The location is the only good thing about Ginger . It's close proximity to.many tourist places within the city. I would never visit again.

  • 5/5 Ashish Kumar S. 2 years ago on Google
Writing review after 2 months still the memories are fresh. Reason for 5 star: my mother left her wallet. Mobile was also inside. Receptionist Ayesha and security staff helped in getting it back. Room: 3 star. Small rooms. Bathroom need renovation. Food: deserve a 5 star. Fresh and tasty food. Buffet breakfast spread and taste was just right.
