Lake view rooms are beautiful. The property is massive and hospitality is above par as well. Pool was accessible and clean. Good options with indoor games as well. You can even rent a bicycle and have a little bit of fun inside the property. Service from the staff was prompt and pleasant. A reasonable price for a decent meal, but the food was mediocre in taste and the restaurant staff seemed inexperienced. To sum it all up, this location is a top-notch choice for a weekend escape. I'd love to go back someday!

Definitely one of the best resorts we have been to of late. The lake facing rooms (both the cottage and the deluxe rooms) are perfect and the man-made lake with fountains in the evening is enough to glue you to the balcony itself throughout the day. Note that even the ground floor rooms are raised and hence gives you a good view of the entire lake and the area. As such, you do not need to spend extra for the first floor rooms. In case you do not have plans to go out sight seeing, no issues, the lake view (the lake has fishes and so you may spot a few birds as well), the huge swimming pool, excellent room service, cycles on hire, and huge area to roam around within the resort are enough to make your stay pleasurable. Add to it, the sort has buggy and if it rains just call the reception and they will buggy for you to take you to the car park or the restaurant.

The resort is quite big and is built very well. Please enter from GATE 2. the map will take you to the back side maybe gate number 4 or gate number 5. Receptionist was very polite. Helped us get the room on ground floor quickly. It has a lot of amenities like a restaurant, Bistro cafe, swimming pool, spa area and gym . It also has lot of outdoor games for kids to play and also you can rent out a bicycle so at you kid can ride it. Our children enjoyed their stay here. Also they offer you buggy to to pick you up and drop you at various locations within the resort. That's really helpful. The food here is good the variety has more of north Indian food, Chinese. The breakfast was amazing. We got complementary breakfast with our room booking. Although if you are looking at ala cart option in case you have not booked it along room booking then in that case you will find the food to be expensive.

In my opinion this is the best resort in Mysore, they have multiple room options and the view from everything is amazing. The food was decent but the room service was really slow. The location is outside the city on the way to krs dam so it's quiet and peaceful

Excellent spacious property with lot of greenery and very cleanly maintained. Has several options to engage and spend quality time with family like bicycle for hire, buggies to move around, large pool, two large kids play area and indoor games area. Added to this the staff are very courteous. The food at the restaurant is quite good too and room service is quite punctual most of the times. Coming to the rooms, we had booked deluxe lake view room which is on the ground floor. If you want a good view of lake, go for the duplex rooms. Infact all deluxe and duplex rooms face the lake, just that the view of the lake could be slightly obstructed by greenery in non-lake view rooms. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort if you are looking for a relaxed get-away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

A wonderful property to stay, very good swimming pool, very responsive staffs. I am giving this poor rating because of the food management here. You can die with hunger but they won’t care, you can be served non vegetarian food even if you are vegetarian. I visited twice this month and now I am forced to write this rating. The first time I visit I waited one hour for my food and finally got off the table without having any. Since rest of the services are pretty good I brought my family here and their whole journey got spoiled due to the time taken in providing the food and the responsiveness of waiters. Even if you will complain to their manager or the hotel manager,They don’t care. So I am sure that I am never coming back here and request you all to pack you bags with sufficient food before traveling to stay here. Happy Journey 🙏🏻

Good place but we paid a lot. The fnb staff were polite. The reception staff need to be more polite and friendly. Bell hop was sitting around when we pulled our luggage in and then called him. Clean place in total. They’ve to put up boards not to tease or feed their geese. Yes they’ve geese in their lake. Beautiful overall, when the vibe sunk in after the weird reception plus the booking experience. Not a word of welcome, but was able to forget it in the beautiful ambience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Silent Shores Resort & Spa and it was such a lovely experience. As soon as I arrived, I felt at ease because the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The resort is nestled in a beautiful location surrounded by lush greenery and a serene lake view that was breathtaking. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I especially loved the balcony that offered a picturesque view of the stunning landscape. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby every night. There was so much to do at the resort, I was never bored. I visited the spa and treated myself to a relaxing massage and some other rejuvenating treatments, it was pure bliss. I also enjoyed swimming in the pool and soaking up some sun. The gym was well-equipped, and I also played a few games at the sports court and tried my hand at cycling on the track. The food was delicious, and I was spoiled for choice. The breakfast buffet was especially good with a wide selection of dishes to choose from. The staff at the restaurant were so attentive and friendly, it made dining a real pleasure. Overall, my stay at Silent Shores Resort & Spa was unforgettable. The location, service, and facilities were all exceptional. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home.

The pricing is bit on the higher side . The resort could have been maintained a bit more well. Not so much of a complain on this but the room was a bit dusty and could have been a bit more clean. The water bodies in the property can be maintained better. Snacks was alright .. nothing amazing… but dinner was good .. the mutton biryani was really good.

Place is awesome and well maintained, Views and vibes are at the peak. Go-to place with kids since there is a great play area and swimming pool. Complementary Breakfast was good. Buffet dinner food options can be improved.

Nice place. Swimming pool and breakfast is best. Kids play area, food courts are good. Support staff are really doing great job. Well maintained property. I do not recommend buffet for dinner. Good rooms with low lighting.

The perfect location for a gateway is a serene area that is easily accessible, provides great service and has a friendly staff. It is also essential for the area to be well-kept and the rooms to be well-maintained. Furthermore, the design of the rooms must be eye-catching, providing a sense of comfort and relaxation. In addition to these features, good food is essential, and one dish that must be tried is the lasagna. This location is also perfect for families with attractions that cater to all ages. These attractions include a pool, park, and spa. The pool is well-maintained, providing a safe and enjoyable environment. The park is perfect for children of all ages, while the spa is an excellent place to unwind and relax. This location is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a gateway, whether alone or with family. With its peaceful ambiance, exceptional service, and friendly staff, it provides an unforgettable experience. Furthermore, with its family-friendly attractions, everyone can enjoy a chill, relaxing and enjoyable time.

The resort is near to ring road, the checkin was fast and smooth. The room was decently big and nice. They gave very big swimming pool and it was nice. Cons 1. Service is very bad they didn't do room clean even after multiple request 2. Food isn't good and too much oil. They don't clean cutlery from room. 3. The food order took 1:15 mins. Shiva

This review is specifically for their restaurant Ambrosia. We had stopped here for lunch. The food was really nice and the service was good. There is a trampoline near the restaurant which keeps the kids engaged. Definitely worth a try if you are in the vicinity.

We visited Mysore just to stay in the resort. Great property. Good food (my kid ate the best khichdi throughout our stay. Compliments to the Chef!!). Service is top notch. Rooms are spacious and clean. Dinner by the lake side was superb. Pool is well maintained and pretty big too. All the folks waiting tables and serving food are well behaved and courteous. Game room is well equipped. There are lot of things to do for kids too. Food is available almost 24/7 including kids menu.

Great property with multiple options of rooms to choose from. We took the spa Suite which was the premium one and it was huge with all amenities including a Jacuzzi. Although we felt a balcony should have been there as it was on all other room types. Huge swimming pool with a beach-like structure and was maintained very well. Food was above average and there were 2 restaurants which can provide lunch and dinner. The only letdown was the lunch buffet which we took on the first day and it was not worth it . Pricey, Less options and taste was also average. Resort staff were very courteous and will try their best to serve you. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for a peaceful vacation away from the city hustle.

One of the best resorts I have visited. Very nice place to spend time and enjoy with family. It's also kid friendly. Very big swimming pool and lake view is awesome. Hospitality was good. Picturesque location. Open lawn candle light dinner was beautifully arranged. Only thing is we had a issue with hot water in our washroom which was solved after telling 3 times. Apart from that everything was good. Will definitely visit this place once more and I will recommend others too.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Silent Shores Resort in Mysore, and it was nothing short of a tranquil haven. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of peace and serenity that set the tone for our entire vacation. The property is exceptionally well-maintained, with immaculately clean rooms that provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. What truly set this resort apart was the meticulous attention given to our specific needs, especially as we were traveling with a toddler. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. One individual who truly stood out was Sovan from the housekeeping staff. His unwavering commitment to our comfort was evident throughout our stay. He was not only attentive but also incredibly helpful, making sure that all our needs were met promptly and efficiently. Overall, Silent Shores Resort in Mysore is a gem for those seeking a peaceful getaway. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the wonderful memories created. We can't wait to return for another dose of tranquility.

Our recent visit to Silent Shore Hotel was truly exceptional. From the serene location to the outstanding service, it exceeded our expectations. The restaurant offered delectable cuisine, and the spa was pure bliss. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished, providing a peaceful view of the lake. We highly recommend Silent Shore Hotel for a perfect getaway.

The resort is average. The suite we stayed in didn't have any outside view and was enclosed. The water from the Jacuzzi was splashing all over the bathroom with big noise from the motor. The shower in the bathrooms had either too cold or too hot water. We had breakfast under hot sun as the restaurant was full and there were a lot of flies. Overall, the experience we had didn't meet my expectations. We may not choose to visit again. However, all the staffs are very polite and friendly.

Our stay was for 2 days. Because there was availability of rooms they gave us a high end room from what we had booked which was great. The resort is quite big with a large swimming pool. The food served could have been better for the prices. The location of the resort is the best with all tourist attractions nearby. The staffs were polite and friendly. It's definitely a recommended place to be.

Stayed in a Spa suite. It was fully relaxing and lots of options for kids to have the fun (especially Teampoline). Greenery all around, well maintained tracks for cycling, Lake ambience, Swimming pool, Games playing area, Gym area, fresh air in the morning Breakfast, Dining, Room service everything is very good. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest !! Will surely recommend to everyone !!

Stayed for 4 nights and had a very good time. Lots and lots of space and excellently maintained property. Stayed in suit as well as duplex room and both were worth the money spent. Staff service was timely and courteous. Only minor con I would say is to improve on food and also felt little lack of experience in restaurant( restaurant staff service was still very good) ..I would rate 4/5 for the restaurant..I would visit once again

I checked in with family on Christmas Eve at 8:45 pm. The food order was placed and arrived at 10:15 pm. The F&B Manager Mr. Senthil assured me that that order would be on time but it was not. The Rotis that were ordered were burnt. They took one hour and didn't even send a wine opener. This is the worst service I've ever received. They have absolutely no hospitality zero empathy and are hugely overpriced. The food quality was good, the staff were courteous and polite too... the location is excellent and also a lot of amenities inside... however, everything was chargeable.

Total number of chef and seats are huge disparity. Total Turnoff. They must increase the chef and deliver food quickly, instead of putting pressure on delivery guys. They take minimum 1 hours, or cancel the order finally.

The place was beautiful but the services could have been better. I visited this place five years back and stayed in a cottage, since this time cottages were not available we booked a normal room. I wasn't so happy with it, the bed sheets were dirty, there were spider webs everywhere!! And they gave us a corner room, there was literally no view and mosquitoes everywhere. We even requested for an upgrade (have to pay extra for it) but only suit was available and that too did not look great! Food: Food is goooood. I think people in Mysore come to this place because of the food there. It was yummy!! This place is very affordable, the service is ok, rooms are ok (cottages are good), food is good. So if you are on Mysore you can try this place for lunch or something.

Had an Amazing two nights stay at this place. Rooms were spotless clean and Service was amazing. Very good breakfast spread, but dinner was not exceptional. Overall experience was very good and would definitely love to visit again.

Awesome, superb, amazing place. Though the name has a shore, don't expect a sea shore anywhere near Mysuru. Close to the city but you don't feel that the resort is closer to a busy main road. This resort is huge with plenty of space for walking, jogging, cycling or whatever you want to do. The swimming pool is very large in size and they have 2 or 3 attached small pools too. High tea, dinner and break fast all exceptional. Loved this place and want to visit again.

  • 5/5 Sooraj K. 2 years ago on Google
Definitely a nice stay at the resort. Perfectly suitable for family and friends. Pool was awesome. We had booked a jacuzzi suite room which is the biggest room available in the resort. Staffs are polite and service is good. Food and restaurant were also nice with multiple cuisines.

  • 4/5 Sandeep P. 2 years ago on Google
The resort is quite big and well maintained. The rooms are spacious. The lake facing rooms have a good view. We faced few problems in room. Found the blankets were not clean and got them replaced. Next after using the shower the bathroom was flooded. Got rectified by calling the house keeping. The house keeping has to do basic due diligence before handing over the room. The breakfast buffet menu is quite elaborate. The lunch buffet is also okay but could have had more dessert options. For dinner there is no buffet but only A la carte option. In my opinion People prefer a dinner buffet than a lunch buffet. It’s strange there is no covered car parking. It needs an improvement. Of other facilities swimming pool is quite big and awesome. Kids play area is also good. For sure Kids will enjoy the stay in this resorts. I hope the rooms will be well maintained if we happen to visit again.

I had an amazing experience at this place! The service was outstanding, and the location couldn't be better. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, and the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mysore, regardless of whether you're traveling as a couple, family, or with kids. The atmosphere here is very cozy and comfortable, and there's even a play area for children to enjoy. Additionally, bicycles are available for rent if you'd like to explore the area on two wheels. While the food available through room service was decent, I do think there's room for improvement in terms of taste. That being said, everything else about my stay here was truly fantastic. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Mysore, this is definitely one to consider.

Recently just returned from a short leisure break with family from Silent Shores resort. Overall the property and its various facilities are very good. The rooms (cottage, duplex) are well maintained and have an amazing view of the small lake especially at night when lights are put around the water fountain. The snack provided in complementary high tea is very basic (just one snack and no option at all). The open air restaurant experience was fantastic. All staff were courteous and helpful.

I have been here for leisure and on business as well. Great place to chill for a couple of days. Lush greenery..a small pond with colorful fountains. A good bar and dance floor. Lots of places to take photos if that is interest to you. Food was reasonably good..nothing much to write about. It is quite a big place..comfortable rooms..clean..neat..and some rooms have the pond and fountain view..which is quite good. These are smaller though..they have tried to make more rooms facing the pond..hence they are smaller. You may need to compromise space for the view.

30 mins drive away from main tourist attractions like palace and zoo. It's located in a serene and calm place, jostled in ample greenery. The resort is spread across a vast area and has activities like swimming and cycling to keep people engaged. The food especially the morning breakfast is too good. Our lake facing deluxe room was spacious and balcony was quipped with a table and pair of chairs to enjoy the morning chirping of birds. Overall our stay was really pleasant, would highly recommend this place.

Stayed at Silent Shores for 2 nights with wife and daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This is an old resort but they have maintained it very well. It's a huge resort and has something to offer for all age groups. Has a restaurant, bar and a bistro that serves delicious food. They have a spa, a massive pool, lot of play areas for toddlers and kids which makes it easy to keep them entertained. Rooms were good and spacious. Restaurant gets busy on weekends as it is a place to hangout for Mysureans. All staff were friendly and courteous. Resort is located just outside the city yet close to almost all the attractions that Mysore has to offer.

I went here with family. We were two couples with two kids. We took two rooms for one night. Rooms were spacious and near. Bathroom too is spacious and neat with spacious balcony. Bathroom has hair dryer in it and 24/7 hot water facility. We had complimentary breakfast which was buffet and we liked food there. Everything was good and went well. Only negative felt was room service was too slow. I ordered shower cap and had to finally cancel order as it never came even after 15 mins.

No doubt It's a beautiful resort to stay with family. It was my second visit to this resort with family. Resort has big swimming pool and good space for cycling. Kids can definitely enjoy. Regarding food menu, there are less options and think resort needs to improve/increase food items mainly for vegetarians.

I loved my stay in the Silent Shores Resort at Mysore. I stayed for 2 nights and the place offers so much to just sit back and relax. The rooms were spacious and nice. The pool area was lively and I really liked the ambiance. I also like the food. It was not out of the world but very decent and i don't have any complaints. I highly recommend this place especially for the family travelers! Cheers!

This place is awesome for a perfect getaway and peaceful vacation in Mysore. Loved the ambiance and greenery around. Rooms are spacious and view of lake from balcony is mesmerizing. Lunch is okay, not many options in veg. But breakfast was really good. Would recommend this place for a couple friendly holiday. There's a game room , gym , very large pool (swimming costume is must) and candle light dinner is provided.

We went to have dinner there. As we couldn't get bookings online to book for a stay. When we visited, not a soul (Guests) in the resort premises except for resort staff. When asked, we were informed, entire hotel was booked by a single person for a wedding. But they arranged the wedding elsewhere will come to silent shores only to sleep. What a weird response we received from the receptionist (Guy). Such a beautiful place how can anyone arrange the wedding elsewhere outside of this resort??? As the name goes..... resort was indeed silent....we did not want to have dinner there. We walked out.
