This is the worst hotel anyone has ever been to. The air conditioners are not working. There are pieces of food in the drawers, under the beds, and where not. There is stagnant water in the glasses and kettles. The cupboards are smelling of oil. The canteen is near the washrooms that are not clean, nor are they hygienic. We according the reviews online I have high expectations, but this has certainly disappointed me. The kitchen for veg and non veg are the same. The plates are not washed properly, they are oily without eating anything. The cutlery is dirty.

We stayed here for 1 day and it was a good experience. The rooms were pretty decent and had good internet connection enough to do office work if needed. The food is decent and has option to order ahead by calling the restaurant. Restaurant staff were great and handled customers properly. Complementary breakfast is good. There is lots of parking available around the property and in the basement.

The hotel is good for a quick stop stay for 1-2 nights. We had planned to only spend the nights at the hotel as in our tour we had a lot of sightseeing. It is centrally located and the palace and zoo are easily accessible. Apart from that the food is great and the room services are excellent. I feel the rooms should have a better room freshener or spray instead of the local freshness.

Recently went to stay in this hotel and this hotel is awesome. Things I liked: 1) Food here is very amazing. I tried various south Indian dishes and they were very tasty and the proportion was good. 2) Their dining hall was filled with guests in breakfast and dinner which shows how people like the food. 3) The room and dining hall service is good 4) Rooms are spacious and have very beautiful interiors. 5) Dedicated parking space is very useful

Below average rooms, not cleaned at all. They don't have centralized AC and the split one works just okay. Spider webs were also found. Bathroom is also not spacious. Looks like very old hotel and not maintained properly. They do offer complimentary buffet that is just okay. Don't expect much variety in the buffet. Conclusions- Go for this hotel only if you are looking for budget friendly.

The photos shown on all websites are either edited or animated. It doesn't match the real ambience. The swimming pool is situated right opposite the kitchen windows through which everyone can see the pool area. And poorly maintained too. The breakfast was normal and the cleanliness of the rooms was questionable. This hotel is okay if you just want to stay overnight not for longer stay. Definitely not value for money.

This hotel's location good very close to the city. Mysore Palace is at 10mins distance by car. The rooms are also quite big and spacious. However, the food was really bad. There was huge rush during the breakfast and people had to wait for long time to get seated. The management is quite poor. By the time we got to sit, almost half the food were already finished. So not a good experience.

The hotel has a nice lobby and rooms are spacious but not that clean as it looks the hotel is a little old , having said , I like it to stay with family with small infants. It’s has an in-house restaurant and food is good buffet is available only for breakfast and dinner . The connectivity to travel and explore tourist places is very close by so we didn’t face any issue and had a nice stay. I have 3 star overall for the service and hospitality . All the best wishes to the rio meridian management and staff .

A pretty decent hotel for a nights stay in Mysore. The rooms are spacious and hot water is available 24 hrs in the washroom. Buffet breakfast is free for guests and the food was very tasty which is highly appreciated. The lunch menu was also pretty decent and the food was good. The hotel staff is courteous too. The hotel is centrally located and easy access to all prominent places in Mysore. Ola cab/auto services are very easily available from this location for people who wish to commute locally.

The rooms are big, well ventilated and regular cleaned. It makes you feel at home. The food served contains both North and South Indian cuisine, so good that you'll end up overeating. BTW, unlike restaurants they tend to overserve. The rates are also so affordable that any middle class will be able to enjoy a 3,4 day stay over here. My experience was incredible overall.

This is the one of the best experiences in the price range. Staff are helpful. Rooms are ok, one of the best breakfast buffets. As noted by other reviewers, access to parking is a hassle. But the staff always compensates for the inconvenience. Pool was a let down, small thing next to open bar with very limited hours. Please fix the switches in rooms. Overall great value for money at a convenient location.

Decent hotel for short stays, I stayed with my family along with two kids. We got a room with Kingsize bed, which was sufficient for couple with two kids. Breakfast buffet was good, all the dishes were fresh and tasted good. Valet guy was very polite and helpful. Gave 1 star less, because of the reception staff, they need to be quick & responsive. Our room was on third floor and the room doors were not sound proof, there was a lot of noise coming from ground floor, disturbing our sleep. Called reception about 3 times but nothing improved.

We booked the accomodation (Deluxe room) for a night in Mysore. The room is good value for money and has the basic amenities. While the bed in the room was clean, the bathroom and common areas need more maintenance and cleaning. The online pictures may not reflect the current status of the rooms. The hotel is located close to tourist spots and restaurants. The breakfast spread includes various dishes and was tasty. The cutlery appears used/stained. The hotel staff were generally courteous and helpful. We did not have a good experience during check-in. Even if you request for early check-in before arrival and are willing to pay the extra fee, the hotel does not confirm it it seems. While the manager during the day was reasonable, the person in the morning was dismissive of our predicament. Finally the room was ready an hour and a half after the actual check in time (12 noon)!

Nice hotel with good facilities. Though located little outside the city centre. It has a swimming pool though for both adults and kids, for adults seems to be little small. It had awesome buffet breakfast with lots of varities. Though usually hosts lots of guests speed with which items were being refilled was also satisfactory.

Overall all good.. food was really nice.. all staff really helped us. Very good comfort and luxury stay at this cost. You will be enjoying it with morning breakfast that's amazing. Value for money and your mind would always recall the time you spent here. This stay will always make your vacation memorable. Thanks to the reception who was helping me with my needs.

It was a great experience. All the staff were very polite and caring. I would like to mention chef Shrinivasan's name whom I found very humble as my 5years old son throws tanturm for eating, the chef himself was always there for him. He prepared the dishes as per my son's taste. I am very satisfied with the service.

Good hospitality and service. Room was clean and comfortable. Too much crowd lead to insufficient space in the elevators. Can be managed better with elevators.

A nice place to stay in the Mysore city area. A little on the expensive side. Ambience and staff is good though. Bookings can be done online at a cheaper price. Restaurant in the hotel is pretty good too.

Warmth and Homely place to stay. The staff at the entrance especially Mr. Navin is a wonderful personality who makes you feel at home. The overall experience with my family was nice. The hotel is located in the proximity of most of the good sieght seeing place. The rooms and the upkeep is good. The breakfast spread is also elaborate.

The rooms are renovated by still a little dated. Room service is decent and the complementary breakfast is typically South Indian. Bedrooms have AC and they are spacious. I would have liked a better bathroom and a tub for a 3 star hotel. No hand towels, no hair dryer and no hand shower foset in the bathroom. The hotel is pretty close to the railway Station which is its best selling point. Don't expect 3 start dining services but it's decent.

Very nice experience to stay at Rio Meridian Hotel. Best hotel, good, neat and clean rooms + washroom. Good and on time service. No delay ever. Breakfast quality is best but taste can be improved. Happy to book and stay in Rio Meridian Hotel.

Couple friendly Hotel but doesn't allow with local IDs. Services are little bit slow in restaurant others are perfect. Peoples can spend their holidays peacefully with great comfort. They are lots to explore here like swimming pool poolside dinner garden bar restaurant and many more. This hotel is located at prime location around like 3 km from church and all the tourist place is nearby within 10 to 15 km.They also offer wallet parking. Stop behaviour is decent.

We had a nice stay at Rio. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staffs were polite and well behaved. Lobby and exterior were beautiful. Kids enjoyed the pool though few things to improve. Shades are good to have near pool. Facilities at pool area and changing room need to be improved.

Nice, affordable hotel at a very good location. The property is spacious and nicely maintained. Good parking space, well maintained dining area, rooms are spacious and enough modern. However Toilets are just above average. The only average experience during our stay was that room was not properly dusted in every corner and breakfast was not properly managed, it was bit chaos in dining area. Thumbs up!

Nice location. Lot of things to improved. Parking at underground and you have to carry your luggage upto first floor by steps. Reception staffs don't have idea about anything. When you are asking for invoice , they are surprisingly looking at you. Rooms were clean and amenities also was good. Breakfast spread was available . Restaurant staffs were in some other world. Not even keeping drinking water glass for the guests. You can have whatever available there and go.

Very good location... quite near to market and other tourist places.. Food was OK. Service was really good, they also agreed to a room change request as initial room provided had no outside view and just walls next to windows. Good for family stay.
