This is the place which I will never forget in my life. the level of customer service at their best. As we visited few of my friends we're vegetarian and they didn't had veg menu but still they got it from out side and served us which no one does in this days to satisfy customer. And when it comes to food part it was so delicious mallige idly is must try if your are going in morning hours and also their palav is tasty. Must visit place in Mysore when you are there.

Great place to have unlimited Naati Style Non Veg meals in Mysore. I had heard about this place from a friend and had gone there completely clueless on what is available in menu. But the staff showed great ambience and they rightly suggested me what should I be ordering. They also provide rasam, buttermilk and paya soup as complimentary drinks. Four wheeler parking will be an issue. Would definely visit next time.

We visited this tiny restaurant run by a family for breakfast at around 8.00am. Tried Neer dose, thatte idli, mallige idli, chicken pepper, mutton kheema ball, leg soup. Taste wise, we felt it was just okayish. Mallige idli, leg soup were good. Most of the items were served cold. Felt like an over-hyped restaurant.

In visited this restaurant during lunch time. It was crowded, but could find space as I went alone. 1. Parking - no parking space was available and you will have to find street parking 2. Location - easy to reach, located in first floor of a building with no lift. 3. Ambience - it is an old restaurant, so the ambience is just normal and nothing fancy. You can see photos of famous personalities who visited the restaurant on the wall. 4. Seating - they have limited number of seats and if I remember it right, they have around 5-6 tables with around 20 seating capacity 5. Service - it was quick and good 6. Food - it was tasty and the quantity was also good. 7. Pricing - it is on the higher end and you can easily expect 200+ person for lunch. 8. Payment- can be done via cash or UPI

This place showed up on a number of sites that recommended it as a place where one must eat while in Mysore. It is a small place located on the first floor. They have limited seating capacity but is decent. Food-wise, it definitely lives up to the hype. The mutton thali and mutton starters were amazing. Enjoyed the spice level too. The staff was very attentive and quick at service. You may want to park somewhere nearby as there is no specific parking area here.

This is a must try for breakfast in Mysore for non vegetarians. It doesn't have strong flavours but the flavours which are there are amazing. The chicken dishes are โ‚น160 (any dish). The ghee rice is also really good and cheap at just โ‚น60. Overall really loved it but the chicken dishes are a teensy bit expensive.

Over priced, over hyped and not at all recommended. Mutton gravy was 220 and pepper chicken was 180 and both were unsatisfactory. Mutton was also not soft was very hard. Totally not recommended. We don't understand why there is a hype. The place is also very limited.

My usual place if I want to taste naati style food. One of the best in the mysore city. Must try dishes are mutton chops and and kheema balls. U also get meals. They serve ragi mudde ( raagi ball )and 2 gravy and rice. If you want, u can order extra meat. And u can try thier mutton palav as well. Meat served would have all the masala soaked into the meat. Tastes very flavourful. It's not spicy but it has all the spices that's required to make a naati style food. Kudos to the team. Food is also served real quick. It would be crowded a little during the peak lunch hours. But worth the wait. Parking would be a little difficult if u go there by car. Two wheeler isn't an issue.

Mysore na famous non veg eaters. Started in 1996, itโ€™s been 25 years now. Amazing food they serve, itโ€™s a small eatery so be patience when you wait for your turn to eat. Highly recommended place for non veg meals and breakfast at mysore. Food quality is good served hot, but seating capacity is less so have to wait sometimes long.

Known to be one of the most recommended places to try Karnataka-style chicken and mutton meals, I tried their "Thatte idli, Shavige" along with pepper chicken and chili chicken. The idli was incredibly soft and complemented the chicken gravy perfectly. Unlike the usual idli with a slightly sour taste, this one was plain, allowing it to effortlessly blend with the curry. Trying this combination for the first time, I found it delightful. The ottu shavige, which are essentially steamed rice noodles, were also exceptionally tender. We arrived for breakfast around 10:30, but unfortunately, the Dosa had sold out by then. They offer mutton options including "thale mamsa" and "botti" (intestine). However, their seating capacity is very limited and quite congested, with tables and steel stools arranged in three rows. Due to the confined space, it can feel quite crowded.

Visited Tegu mess. I guess I was early for lunch. Mudde wasn't ready. Though I wanted to wait, the waiter coerced me not to wait. Tried ghee rice with chicken as per the waiter's suggestion. Tasted good. Surprisingly the quantity of ghee rice felt less even for a light eater like me. Prices were on the higher side.

Its a specific Nonveg Mess, quantity served is sufficient for one person. So price also looks less, we went for dinner , dishes was very limited for dinner was disappointed, for lunch options are more, taste wise i cont tell its yummy, its ok ok type. So if u r planning to visit this mess then lunch will be better option than dinner.

We went there on a Sunday for lunch at noon. The place is located on a first floor. The ambience is very unassuming and homely. There are long tables with chairs. Pictures of gods, celebrities on the walls. The kitchen is visible and kept clean. The lunch menu was just about ready and we could get all the delicious smells to work up our appetite. The owner himself was sitting and having lunch when we arrived. He understood that we werenโ€™t regular customers and was extremely helpful in getting us seated, explaining the menu, interpreting our requests to staff and overall making us feel comfortable. It is a non veg special mess and vegetarianโ€™s wonโ€™t find much (in fact anything) to eat here. The food started rolling out. We started with pepper chicken and idly, then beer dosa, mutton chops, chilli chicken. Finally ending with ghee rice, rassam and curd. They also served extra gravy of chicken and mutton in bowls. Everything was delicious and had unique flavours. The curries were light and flavourful. Pepper chicken had a nice mild heat from the black pepper that warms the throat. The chilli chicken is Maratha style and is nicely spicy. Mutton chops were tender. The rassam and curd helped washing everything down. The owner made sure that we were taken care of, he kept the curry pots on our table for us help ourselves as much as we want. Slowly the place started getting filled with local and regular people. There were a few people who got tiffins and containers with them to take parcel home. They also had mutton meatballs on the menu but they werenโ€™t ready by the time we were done, May be next time. They have specials frequently and use a variety of cuts. The bill was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food we had. The owner was very polite and kind. He didnโ€™t even charge for curd, rassam etc. We have our compliments to him and the kitchen staff and left planning our next visit when we will be Mysuru again.

The way up the restaurant through the compact stairs is messy but it's a 42 year old premise where Dadi's secret recipe boils and cooks and the result is just fab - authentic spices and a taste that you would not be keen to relate with any other restaurant. If you are a non veg lover you would not like to miss this place when in Mysore.

Teeny tiny place but really great food! The chicken pulav was perfectly spiced and pieces were so soft and tender. Pepper chicken was also really flavourful. Absolutely delicious dinner. They also had Neer dosa and idli but I was too full to try them. Next time!

Mess.. It's what this place is actually... Reminds me of the hostel mess, ofcourse with better food.. And the place is really a mess, crampy stairs leading into a crampy dining area with people thronging in peak hours.. Quality of food is good , a bit spicy though which tickles the good vibes part of your palette. Price is on the higher side with chicken and mutton oota going north of 250 INR.. They serve chicken chilli, mutton kheema, chicken pepper, ragi ball , liver dishes along with white rice and ghee rice.. side soups and curd complete the quota.. Wish they had some more cleanliness, a good wash area and a good dining area..
