We
went
there
on
a
Sunday
for
lunch
at
noon.
The
place
is
located
on
a
first
floor.
The
ambience
is
very
unassuming
and
homely.
There
are
long
tables
with
chairs.
Pictures
of
gods,
celebrities
on
the
walls.
The
kitchen
is
visible
and
kept
clean.
The
lunch
menu
was
just
about
ready
and
we
could
get
all
the
delicious
smells
to
work
up
our
appetite.
The
owner
himself
was
sitting
and
having
lunch
when
we
arrived.
He
understood
that
we
werenโt
regular
customers
and
was
extremely
helpful
in
getting
us
seated,
explaining
the
menu,
interpreting
our
requests
to
staff
and
overall
making
us
feel
comfortable.
It
is
a
non
veg
special
mess
and
vegetarianโs
wonโt
find
much
(in
fact
anything)
to
eat
here.
The
food
started
rolling
out.
We
started
with
pepper
chicken
and
idly,
then
beer
dosa,
mutton
chops,
chilli
chicken.
Finally
ending
with
ghee
rice,
rassam
and
curd.
They
also
served
extra
gravy
of
chicken
and
mutton
in
bowls.
Everything
was
delicious
and
had
unique
flavours.
The
curries
were
light
and
flavourful.
Pepper
chicken
had
a
nice
mild
heat
from
the
black
pepper
that
warms
the
throat.
The
chilli
chicken
is
Maratha
style
and
is
nicely
spicy.
Mutton
chops
were
tender.
The
rassam
and
curd
helped
washing
everything
down.
The
owner
made
sure
that
we
were
taken
care
of,
he
kept
the
curry
pots
on
our
table
for
us
help
ourselves
as
much
as
we
want.
Slowly
the
place
started
getting
filled
with
local
and
regular
people.
There
were
a
few
people
who
got
tiffins
and
containers
with
them
to
take
parcel
home.
They
also
had
mutton
meatballs
on
the
menu
but
they
werenโt
ready
by
the
time
we
were
done,
May
be
next
time.
They
have
specials
frequently
and
use
a
variety
of
cuts.
The
bill
was
very
reasonable
for
the
amount
and
quality
of
food
we
had.
The
owner
was
very
polite
and
kind.
He
didnโt
even
charge
for
curd,
rassam
etc.
We
have
our
compliments
to
him
and
the
kitchen
staff
and
left
planning
our
next
visit
when
we
will
be
Mysuru
again.
