Can hire a private boat (Costs 300) or self peddling one ( 30 per head) this is time bound. There is a seperate children's park. Neatly maintained. Various drinking water spots are available. There is a designated spot for having lunch as well. Rest rooms are also there. Various spots to sit and relax. Having a good view of the lake. Watch tower gives an elevated view of the lake. We can view birds flying around. Best time to see the birds are during the day and evenings when it's not too hot. Birds are rarely seen during the afternoons. There is a butterfly park and that's during November & December ( That's the season time ) Various plants and trees can be seen they are labelled along with their names and family name. It’s a calm and peaceful place. Boating was available & the ticket cost was 50₹ per adult. The ticket is valid for 4hours only, if found to be there for extra hours extra charges has to be paid. Rowing & self-peddling options are available for boating. Spending the time in middle of the lake was quite mesmerising with calm water flowing around me. U can watch the birds flying over the clear sky. View was so good that I still can view the exact beautiful scenery in my mind🤩

Entry fees for the adults is ₹50/per head whereas for Children it's 25₹/per head. Parking fees is too costly as they charge 30₹ for each bike. Boating is available with life Jacket provided which costs you around 30₹ for 10 mins each and boundary is defined across the lake where you can't take the boat over those regions. It is a good place for joggers as they can jog along those places. Drinking water facility is also available where purifier are installed. Plastic items can be taken inside with the stickers pasted on it so that you should deposit some amount in the counter and get back by showing the same plastic item while returning back. Cycling facilities are also available at the park where a separate fees has to be paid. Kids play area is present for the kids to play in the park. Toilets are available within the lake cum park. Dustbins are placed each and every place so that waste can be thrown. Watch tower is available where you can view the place. Different types of species of plants , trees ,shrubs ,thorny plants are also present to show. A good fauna is present. There is a chance of viewing of different species of bird across the lake which is a home place. Bird species like Painted Stork, Little Grebe, Indian spot - billed Duck, Eurasian Coot, Asian open bill Stork, Pied Kingfisher and Peacock. Animals, reptiles and mammals like Monkeys, Snakes and Mangoose can be viewed.

Beautiful place to spend hours, very refreshing. There is a Kids play area. Orchid garden and different kinds of trees and plants are grown in both the sides. There is a bamboo forest and Butterfly park. You can see crocodile 🐊 in its natural habitat. A few collection of birds and animals are there in the Garden. Wherever you see, you will notice lush greenery. Benches to sit are made at every regular distance. Drinking water Points are made. Washroom facility available. Cleanliness is what I really admired. Very clean and under maintenance. Watchmen standing all over the places to help and instruc tourists. Parking facilities available for both 2 wheelers and four wheelers. Boating is also available but due to certain reasons it is stopped as of now. Timings are from morning 8:30am till 6:00pm. Very great place to spend time in solitude or even with family and friends.

I had been to this place in the early morning for a walk. It's a really beautiful place with a serene view. I also spotted alot of birds and peacocks here! One should really visit here. This place in the morning is open from 6am to 8am for a walk with an entry fee ₹10. Rest time the lake is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm with an entry fee of ₹50. There is a boating option too with a fee of ₹30.

This place is underrated. Entrance fee is of two types,only lake or lake + zoo, we gotta pay extra if we choose combo pack but it's cheaper compared to paying differently for zoo and the lake. A must visit place in Mysore. Well maintained place. There is mini zoo inside with peacocks and other birds. We can see different kinds of birds flying around the lake. Also there are many butterflies. There is a watch tower for bird watching. At the end of road there is entrance to Regional Museum of Natural History Mysore, so we dont have to come all the way back(if you don't have a car parked at entrance) and exit through the Museum gate.

The entrance fee is ₹50, with an additional ₹70 for parking. It's a worthwhile expense for a spacious park ideal for a family day out. The park closes at 6:30 PM, and the guards force you to leave by 6:00 PM.

Really peaceful and nice place to visit In mysuru . When i entered it looked the same as other park is mysuru . Until i saw that big bird cage near 6 to 8 peacock 🦚 and some other birds also . It was the first time i saw a peacock so close to me ❤❤. And it has a long path for a walk it also has a watch tower . And u can also find lot of couples 🤦‍♂️. A beutiful lake close to the famous mysore zoo. The way to the lake is through the middle of the zoo area. Boating is available. But in this summer, better to avoid. Pedal blat is RS. 30 per person but the boat with operator will costs you 300 rupees (maximum 4 people) which is an utter waste of money. They will go one round maxm 5-8 minutes only and it is an open boat without any roof. Rainy or winter season will be the better time to visit there. Overall good to visit. Garden is well maintained. Hydrophytes collection was also good.

The lake is around 100 yrs old. You can find boating, garden, birds as well as museum here. Overall quite place
