Dalvoy Lake is a water body on the busy Mysore - Ooty road .A little further from the APMC yard ( Bandipalya) / ORR will take you to the Lake ensconced in the midst of lush green paddy fields and coconut grooves .One can see an acqua duct carrying Kapila waters to the agricultural fields .As the road is divided by a median , one will have to proceed a little further and take a U turn near Gejaghalli and come back to see the lake Not much of activity can be seen on the lake .In the background is the western side of the Chamundi Hill . 500 metres before reaching the ORR is the temple of ( procceding from the SGS ashram side ) Jwalamukhi Ramnathswamy on Uttanahalli road .Posting some pictures of the Lake and the surrounding environs .

This place isn't good for you as wel as to your family too. Because the water in this lake is not good, here there is no boating or any other entertainment.

It is not a tourist place or a picnic spot,it's just a lake where treated sewage is disposed
