The temple is very clean and situated on the top of Chamundi hill. The routes are very scenic and breathtaking. There are two tickets available either you'll get direct entry or you can enter through the queue..We visited in Friday and it was quite rush as it's considered very auspicious day..Also you'll find nandii at a short distance.

Temple is beautiful and it is located in the chamundi hills. One Amazing thing about this temple was a gallery was opposite the temple which is donated by a Muslim resource. Unity in diversity. The structure is nice and really impressed by an asuran statue at the entrance

The holy temple is situated on the top of Chamundi Hills. Till base of temple it is accent road. Then there are some stairs to climb with shops on both sides. Very popular among locals and tourists as well. Arrangements for shoe keeping and other amenities are available on site.

Chamundi Hills and the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore, India, are truly awe-inspiring. The climb up the 1,000 steps is a test of endurance, but the panoramic views of Mysore city are worth it. The temple's intricate architecture and rich history make it a spiritual and cultural gem. Don't miss the giant Nandi statue on the way up! Overall, a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking a spiritual experience. Peaceful place really nice ♥️

This is devine place to be, each time I have visited here a different and powerful aura it beholds. And the development which enroute from the gateway to the temple is hearty commendable. The development authority has done an absolute amazing job around the temple. Drinking water and urinals are situated at each corners. Stalls outside the temple are in abundance and you could easily go through it for your choice of pick. The best part was the parking facilities which actually impressed me the most. Tickets for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers are Rs 10/- and Rs 30/-

Temple is clean and well maintained. The maintenance of public queues could have been better. Some tend to break the queue. Police on duty don’t bat an eye. Ample parking facility for both 2 and 4 wheelers. Good views from the top. And the temple looks beautiful.

135 km from Bangalore, one of the best place for one day trip if you include mysore palace as well. It wouldn't take much time to reach once Highway construction is complete. Multi story car parking is available, so no need to bother about car parking. Plenty of Shopping, you will love it.

Very well maintained temple. Please space for parking of 4 and 2 wheelers. We went in early hours on Sunday, which is the best time to view the chamundi hills and temple. Crowd is bit less at that time. Took around 1.5hours for darshan and come out of temple with prasadam. We had opted 30/- ticket darshan there. Better to go on public holidays, on weekdays you can go by free darshan. Don't forget inside the temple there is a prasadam counter to pay and collect there. Outside there is another counter which I found not tasty compared to the one got inside. My family had done good shopping after darshan. Also, there is a well maintained wash rooms available outside the temple, never expected at this kind public places.

If you ignore the way they manage the queue everything else is great. If you are going by bike then you will also enjoy the ride to the top of the point.. It takes around 45 to 60 min waiting for the priority queue which costs 100 Rs... But in the normal queue wait time is almost double.

Ancient temple of goddess Chamundeshwari (Shakti Amman). Beautiful and powerful God.... Amazing views as it is located at very high altitude. There is place to keep your shoes... Do not give it shops. If you come here around 12 or 1 pm then can chance to have Maha Prashadam. Temple closes around 02 pm and opens back at 03:30 pm If you are coming here... Must keep atleast 2 hours in hand because there is long queue. But ultimately its worth it. Very important place to visit... For more details check out youtube channel "PriyaaWorld"

Jai Maa Chamundeshwari Namo Namaha. This is one of the Shakti Peeth of Maa. This is also the place where Mahisasur was killed, for which the current mysur city is named. The temple gates opens at 7:30am. Please purchase Prasad from 2 counters available both inside and outside of temple. For convenice coconut and flowers could be purchased near the temple not near to parking entrance. Also temple authority has provided facilities to keep shoes inside the premises. There are 3 doors through which devotees can enter the temple for Devi Darshan. There is a Rath which is moved on special occasion and I was lucky to see it. There is Guest house available for devotees yo stay at very reasonable price. Free Prasad can be enjoyed 2 times in a Day. The best and most convinent way to Travel from city is to go to Mysore city bustand and board AC bus which cost around 60rupees. Also from Temple to city AC buses are available after every 10mins at same price. The journey from city to temple is hardly 20mins. If anyone faces Ola or Uber drivers demanding high fares ...then Government bus is best option.

We went there by car in the morning around 7.30am. Car parking is available. We went for Rs. 100 entry fee so entry was in minutes and smooth. Experience inside the temple is devotional and holy. Very well maintained. With Rs. 100 entry fee you get Prasad of one laddu outside the temple for free. Must visit. View of Mysore from hill is great.

The temple is very good. Proper sign boards should be kept in place and more dustbins needs to be added. The direct entry ticket was supposed to be served with Laddu and Kunkuma but we were given only Laddu and were told Kunkuma was not in stock at counter but they were selling it inside temple for 10₹.

There is a good small market on the road to temple. You can enjoy awesome view of Mysuru from here. Architecture of the temple is also mesmerizing. Cleanliness is maintained. Must visit place....

Very beautiful temple. I was so mesmerized by it. You will love this beautiful temple on top of the hill. Couldn't get the chance to go inside the temple because of the crowd and little time. But you will really see how significant and important this temple was during that era when you Mysor Palace and see the paintings of this temple.

A divine temple to go to. Holds great importance historically to whole of India and regionally to people of Karnataka. It is believed that Goddess Durga (Chamundeshwari) killed Mahishasura on top of the Chamundi Hills. The spot was constructed as the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysuru, an event that is annually celebrated at Navaratri and Mysuru Dasara. The road leading upto the temple has some beautiful scenic views and great for vloggers to make some great reels and videos. It was a great experience to visit this temple and see the temple campus which bustling with shops of various kinds.

Stunning place. The location is awesome and the temple is well maintained. Just keep in mind to not leave your footwear in the very start when the prasad vendors will start asking as soon as the stairs start. You can get some really good shops with quality items in optimum price. Explore well and be safe from monkeys🐒

Divinity of the goddess, enchanted with the prayers is a pure bliss to experience located on the hilltop. The place is well maintained with regular frequent buses to commute from the bus station to the hilltop. Devotes can serve lunch at the annadana counter. There is tiny market around the temple to buy hand crafted decors, spices, fruits & even coconut to offer to god

A great atmosphere. This temple is located on a small hill top. It's one of the most beautiful and the oldest temple of the area. The view on the way to the temple and even from the hill is just breathtaking, especially in the evenings. Its great to visit in the mornings or in the evenings to enjoy the weather. I will suggest not a stand in line instead of taking special tickets and after you take laddu for every special ticket.

One of the main attractions in Mysore for sure. The place cannot be skipped. The drive from Mysore city to this place is really picturesque with undulating ghat sections and from the top you can get a panoramic view of the beautiful Mysore city, specially after dark you can witness the Mysore palace in all its glory shimmering with lights. They have now built a multi level parking for vehicles so the issue of parking that people faced earlier is now gone. Secondly you may face huge queues of people waiting to go inside the temple so avoid that you can go for priority entry which has two types one costing 30 and anothet 100 rupees , the latter would be the suitable choice if you wish to enter sooner.

The temple was named after Chamundeshwari, the fierce form of Shakti, a tutelary deity held in reverence for centuries by the Maharaja of Mysuru. This is an amazing drive for nature lovers and spiritual people. The place is beautiful and maintained well. Enough parking space and clean washrooms. The darshan was also done very peacefully.

Nice views on the way to this hill, temple structure seems wonderful, didn't go to inside because of thousands of people are standing in queue. Money does matters here, rs100 will take you to idol immediately, rs30 will take you to there in few hours, free visit to idol seems to be a days work. Free food was served there which is great, no covid protocol is maintained here, parking slot is ok, most of the temple premises are occupied by vendors.

Landmark destination for divine blessings of Ma Sri Chamundeshwari. The temple staff inside the sanctum sanitoreum ensure that you stand in front of the main temple diety for only a couple of seconds. And the entrance to inner temple is very small, it tends to get so crowded that a push pull experience can't be avoided. The drive to the hilltop is exhilarating. There is a dedicated parking. When travelling with senior citizens, one can get a battery cart organised near the car as the walk to temple could be very demanding. On the way back take the Nandi temple route for a scenic and oxygen rich ride through the greens. Don't miss the aerial birds eye view of Mysore while driving down....
