Stayed here with my parents for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The rooms were extremely spacious and the themes (we stayed in Sher Khan) won our hearts. We were provided help to even plan the itinerary. The naturalist at the hotel came with us for the safari and bird spotting and gave us interesting insights to make the experience even more worthwhile! We even took a car hire service from them which made our commute hassle free. Additionally - Since it was NYE, the hotel organized a small party for it's guests which had a bonfire, good music, great company and amazing food! Staying at Safari Quest was a perfect start to 2023 :)

What a lovely place to stay! One of our best experience in Mysore! We stayed at the apartment as we have young kids and the separate rooms and bathrooms was the best part! Clean spacious and very comfortable! Can you ask for more! Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Food is absolutely yummy. Amazing treats for the kiddos as well. The breakfast spread is excellent! Highly recommended this place for your stay in Mysore!

A hidden treasure in Mysore. The rooms are well ventillated and spacious. Bathrooms are spotless. We travel with our pet. Hence, we prefer the ground floor rooms as our little one gets to frolic around in the garden. Activities: The first floor has a beautiful hall for small events, meetings and workshops. I had one of the best massages at the Ayurvedic spa - would love to go back for more :) They also organise Safaris to various wildlife sanctuaries around Mysore. They have a 100 mbps wifi connection. So we could also work seamlessly from here. Friendy and courteous staff: Shoutout to Indrajit, Amarnath, Shobha Nair, Shankar and the entire team for your courteous service during all the 4 times we stayed there so far. Location: A little away from the city, Safari Quest is located in a quiet and calm residential layout. A mini sanctuary away from the city traffic, noise and pollution. Great place to unwind, work or organise events! Value: Absolute value for money for the kind of ambience they have created thoughtfully for their guests, the service and the neat and spacious rooms with AC. Our pet Hope loves this place. In fact this is like a second home for her. Food: Drongo cafe on the ground floor serves some lipsmacking Garlic Naans, butter chicken, Hariyali chicken and tikkas. We tried their chicken biriyani too which was quite tasty. Breakfast is complimentary and has a decent spread. Vikek, the General Manager of the property is very friendly and helpful and ensures you have a comfortable and pleasant stay. The owners of the property are also extremely friendly and warm and make you feel at home and welcome if you are lucky enough to meet them during your stay here. Highly recommended!

We have visited safari quest twice. Every time we go with kids there is a different soul to it. There is so much to do in Mysore with kids and safari quest ensures we have a smooth holiday filled with packages to the nature, zoo, water sports, etc. we were invited for a kids camp last week. I have not seen such detailed package with kids so far. The owner of safari quest is totally involved and knowledgable with every aspect of nature and wild life. It was our best holiday so far. Staff ensures we have a good stay and every detail of travel and stay is managed with great care. Day trips to wild life sanctuaries and nights were involved with interesting talks by experienced professionals who take care of wild life and nature. Combined with good food and ambience. A must visit for families if planning to visit Mysore. Will be visiting next year for sure.

We had a very pleasant stay at safari quest. This is a delayed review but dint want to miss thanking Vivek for helping us in every little questions or aspects that we came up with. Thank you so much for wonderful hospitality. Food was also very delicious. We have come there with our toddler and my in laws. They too loved the place so good. As it was pet friendly we bought our pet too and he had a good time there. The place was well connected to almost every tourist spots available. Looking forward to visiting again. Regards, Sireesha.K

Very knowledgeable safari guides who explain in detail about the forest ecosystem, animal and bird behavior, migration patterns etc, makes you look at the forest as a whole in an enlightening perspective. Great learning experience. Additionally Mysore is a beautiful city with lots to offer for a family holiday, like the zoo and water sport activities etc. Ask the staff and they help you out with the same. The hotel rooms are huge, lovely food, friendly and helpful staff. Perfect family safari getaway, would come back again for sure!

Biggest advantage of this place to us was 1) big nice clean rooms with lovely alive decor. 2) availability of clean tasty hygienic continental and South Indian food. Staff is very cordial and helpful. Great interior decors and kid friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Great hospitality. The rooms are huge decorated with wildlife motifs. Conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood just off the Ooty highway and an hour away from the national parks. This place is for anyone wanting to visit both Mysore and go on a safari. They organise everything with a very knowledgeable guide.

Loved the place. We were a group of 10 and 2 infants. So I went for 3 rooms and a 2bhk. The rooms were great , the place was quiet and each room had its own theme. Only drawback for the rooms were the windows had small openings that were netted. This does help with ventilation but also allows noise from the streets to enter the room, esp. in the morning. But other than that, no complaints. The staff was really great and courteous.

What a memorable stay and warm people. The owner and his whole family welcomed us to their warm embrace. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. Their cooks are also an absolute delight. The rooms are beautiful and clean and so well designed. They made our stay so special and welcomed our dog so well! We looks forward to staying at Safari Quest when we visit Mysore again!!

The hotel has tried a combination suitable for those looking for a quiet comfortable stay and also can do something while at the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, neat and quiet, there's a reading place with a variety of books mostly suitable for all ages, a common room to spend time with your family. We had complementary breakfast for two days and it was not bad, we had lunch on the day we arrived and it was very good. (North Indian/ starters). A bit pricey though.

Room is spacious and clean. The hotel however is in the middle of an industrial area with saw mills surrounding us. There is no nature walk except inside hotel with decor which is in alliance of a safari. There are a few things that are not desirable: The hotel doesn't allow you to pay amount and book through make my trip where the price given is about โ‚น1200 lower than their own website. We can only book room giving credit card details. Payment has to be done here. They charge as per tarrif on website when you arrive, which us a good business strategy for them but as a customer , it is not what we expect. The sheets on the bed are rough . Not soft. Clean but uncomfortable. They give only one litre water for 2 persons in the room which is inadequate. The television in the room is a smart TV but cannot watch any stream of entertainment without paying for it. So for one night just forget you have one in the room.

You canโ€™t go wrong if you name your restaurant Drongo. Or when your room walls are painted with loving (minimalist) sketches of animals. Safari Quest is located in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood of Mysore, but within 20 minutes of the zoo and the Mysore palace. Vivek and his team are amazing - they hosted our 18-strong boisterous family group with patience and professionalism. The hotel is pet friendly as well. The rooms are large, spotless clean, and the hotel has apartments as well for those who may want to do their own cooking. The breakfast spread is great with options from (chicken) sausages, hash browns and eggs to idlis/dosa/vada/puri-sabzi etc. The kesri bath was heavenly. They run safaris to Bandipur/Kabini/Nagarhole - we didnโ€™t have time for that. Perhaps next time! All in all, spent a great weekend there. Would highly recommend.

My stay at Safari Quest was exceptional. The rooms are outstanding, spacious, and comfortable. Waking up to birdsong in a natural paradise is truly unique. The service is top-notch, and the diverse, delicious food is a treat. The warm hospitality and abundant photo spots make it perfect for nature lovers and photographers. Plus, convenient taxi service and a tidy environment complete the experience. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway!

The surrounding environment of the Hotel is no doubt EXCELLENT. All the people in the Hotel is so familiar friendly and cooperative, we felt for every minutes that we are living with our own family. The food and the services are excellent and better than our dreams. My granddaughter ADVIKA was highly impressed with the friendliness of family members of the Proprietor. Each and every necessities were fulfilled promptly. Rooms are spacious and well lighted with natural lights, and the wild artwork gave us a different feelings altogether. House cleaning staff are very regular with their jobs. We can assure that anybody will be impressed with the facilities and amazing services of the Safari Quest. They made our stay such that our visit of Mysore essentially becomes a visit to SAFARI QUEST, which we want to repeat many more times to come, a five star rating for property, staff's behaviour, food, cordial services and everything in there.

Spent the weekend there last month. Beautiful property just an hour away from Bandipur. Great service and brilliant food. The rooms are spacious and the every little detail of the property is stunning and wildlife-themed. The safari was very well-organised (great wildlife spotted), will surely make this a regular getaway!

This place is very recommended for a large group of friends. We were 8 and we all stay in the villa. Thanks to the welcoming hosting we ate super well outside in front of a bonfire. They were very kind also to indicate gluten free option (however there might have been a bit of contamination as celiac I didnโ€™t feel very good). They also organized a safari which was also a good experience. During the night we had some troubles with mosquitoes, however overall it was a good value for money . It was a pity to say only one night

I booked a regular hotel, when we landed in Mysore ( through treebo) we were told it is canceled. In frustration as a new comer to a city I found Safair Quest. The experience is absolutely beautiful Rooms are more cleaner and very well maintained on par with 5 star hotels. It is a beautiful property. As a regular traveler I loved the homely feel yet with a 5 star feel. Incredibly private experience. Very clean rooms, incredible bathrooms. We were 3 adults and 1 child hence we got a 2-bhk. Initially I was shocked we got an apartment in a big complex was a bit confusing. But it is worth every penny. Excellent staff. All in all a great experience. I will definitely come back here.

We stayed in the villa room at safari quest as we were about 10 of us travelling with a kid. The villa room was well maintained and staff were very helpful and courteous. The location was good too with all the tourist locations within 20min drive. Staff service was excellent. Food was decent. However, we felt the room charges were expensive for mysore, probably because it was a villa. The geyser in one of rooms was not working which was not repaired even after reporting.

Had a short weekend trip with family to Mysore and chose this hotel as it was a pet friendly one.. extremely spacious amazing rooms, good amenities, neat and clean.. very near the city centre, yet very calm and serene. Hotel staff were very accommodating to our requests, and service was very good and on time. Food quality was good, breakfast was limited, but it was still pretty homely and tasty. Go for it, very much recommended! Special thanks to Ms.Shobha, who took care of our special requests like arranging a Guide for the visit to the palace. :)

This tranquil place is something that you will need for a break. I came here with three families.. & we had a great weekend getaway.. Rooms are built on forest themes painted on the wall . The rooms have AC , but also has provision for Natural ventilation if the need be. There is a very Good restaurant attached to the resort & the food is amazing .The resort also has a ayurvedic Spa & wellness treatment center. Thi location is very close to the foothills of chamundi. The staff are very well mannered & the owner takes personal interest in ensuring that the guests are well taken care of. Overall I would say it's an amazing place to be in Mysore.

Nice, calm and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staffs. Jungle theme based rooms, simple and nicely designed rooms, each room is painted with an animal the drawings are simply superb. The restaurant - Drongo cafe, breakfast had limited items but still was fulfilling with its taste especially the chef's pizza style bread omlette was his signature dish. The chef also prepared slightly customized food for the kid, Thanks for it.

Itโ€™s a perfect place for a weekend getaway! Itโ€™s cozy and simply gives you a break from all the lifestyle hazards youโ€™ve been through all week.. itโ€™s the perfect place to go for a short break! The ambiance is cozy and warm. The food is excellent! Especially their kiwi lime mojito, it was exquisite, must try for every visitor! One of the best places in Mysore! Thank you Safari Quest for giving us a lovely experience!

The perfect place to explore the five wildlife sanctuaries around Mysore in the AM and still have time for the sights and sounds of Mysore in the PM. Comfortable aesthetically designed studios with each having a thematic focus on a different animal, the property has a warm positive vibe with ever smiling staff. A special shout out to the naturalist team that plans every day's activities with much enthusiasm! We managed to spot the elusive tiger and herds of elephants, bison and deer.

Awesome place and very good staff. The host Deepak Lulla gave very good guidance for the best ways to approach Nagarhole and Kabini safari parks. He understood our plan requirements and gave us awesome itenarary that got us chance to see 2 tigers in nagarhole park. The place to stay is also very good and best & lovely place to visit with family
