I had the most wonderful experience here for dinner. The ladies at the restaurant were super sweet and really nice. The food was fast, homey and so delicious. The menu is in Greek and English. My favourite meal in Mytilini by far. I ordered the zucchini flowers, meatballs in tomato sauce and shrimp saganaki. Everything was so hearty and comforting, especially on a cold night. Prices were very reasonable for the portion size. I was also given a few pieces of fried cheese to try, and a lemony tasting dessert. I left feeling so comfortably full and happy. I was there ridiculously early because I was starving, so the restaurant was quiet. But, the atmosphere is homey, and there is light, quiet Greek music playing in the background. Many tables inside and outside. Wonderful experience, and I am glad it shaped my last experience of a beautiful island and Greek hospitality.

Having dinner at this unique place was a great experience. I loved the decor and the vibe. The food was fine, although we had much better meals at other restaurants on the island. The most disappointing part was the service. We walked in exactly at the same time as a Greek family and we were seated at adjacent tables. Their order was taken first, which was fine, but while we were given a menu, no one actually came to take our order for a very long time. So long that in fact, the Greek family had already started eating, not just their meze or salad but their fish before the waitress finally came over to take our order. This attitude continued throughout the evening. I wanted to ask for some salt and called the waiter who was just walking past us at the time, he said "one moment" as he was on his way to another table which was perfectly fine, but then on his way back, he just completely ignored us and walked past without stopping. I had to call him over again for him to come. I loved that this place was clearly a restaurant that the local frequent but I wish they treated tourists with a little bit more respect.

Suitable option for lunch, the food quality was beyond and the dishes were simple yet delicious. It's worth the drop by. My advice you to be flexible about dishes. Our recommendations are the stuffed zucchini flowers and the grilled calamari. There was an Orzo with osobuco which is a must.

Oldest cafe shop in all of Greece, that’s right it’s cozy super friendly staff owners are very down to earth people. Food is great. Very welcoming good for couples and groups, I definitely recommend this place it’s a must visit for every local and tourist.

Octupus is so delicious. We don’t like sardines but all the rest is perfect. Nice, similing people.

This is a traditional Tapas style restaurant at the heart of Mytilene. Story goes that it has been around in one form or another since the 1800s. An attractive decor with old memorabilia and a beautiful space inside is what to expect in terms of ambience. It captures the essence of the times gone. Food Quality is great, portions are decent and prices are very reasonable. It also has quite an impressive Ouzo list if you’re into that. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. what more to ask? Nice atmosphere in a good location. Stuffed cabbage leaves were very delicious, the sour taste in particular. The grilled calamari was overcooked, some parts were left behind which is a very rare situation we experienced in a greek tavern. Grilled ladotyri was nice. Prices are average. Muscat white house wine was medium sweet and tasty. Made us happy.

Salad, tzatiziki and grilled calamari were great. Fava was average. Portions were big, place was cozy. Good place for lunch. Only downside, we couldnt order what we looked for in the first place

I suggest the cheese (Ladotyri )on the pic first smell the bread than start to eat. I took the Greek salad. I couldn’t even finish it the portion was so good. The waiter and waitress are friendly and smiling.

The staff was nice, the food was fresh and the feeling was Olden Time-ey (my preference). Loved everything about it. Would come again.

This is a must-visit if you are in Mytilini. Never had I tasted anything closer to 'home'. The cook is really special. I would highly recommend everyone to try the 'basics' such as mousaka and other traditional greek plates.

A must-visit restaurant for different reasons. One of the oldest and most historic caffs on the island serving top quality, delicious dishes at reasonable prices. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. We liked everything we ordered, but the sardines (“papalina”) were probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommended!

Cute family greek taverna, with fresh food and local starter options. The big grilled shrimps were extra delicious. You should definitely try the octopus in wine! We liked the local white wine.

Amazing handmade food, prepared with local ingredients and lots of love. Yet another huge plus is the environment as well as the always smiley and welcoming faces of the owners, Kyvelli and Irene!

Very authentic food. We tried stuffed onions, fried cheese, dakos salad and mousakka; all were amazing. Wide choice for ouzo’s. Family owned place, good service, very clean. Easy walk from the port. Will visit again for sure. Kitchen opens at 13:00, plan accordingly.
