I'm being VERY generous with stars. As of April, 2022 the hotel was open but undergoing renovations. Hallways are not air conditioned and temps reached 35C (95F) inside. Outside temps reached 108F. We were bused in at 3 AM from a canceled Air France flight. 70 people in line with one clerk. By 4 AM we were in room with HVAC did not work. We went to lobby to sleep. We are in our 70s so clerk found a renovated room with split HVAC unit that worked. Some Air France victims had to sleep in lobby as no nore rooms. NOTE ... Maybe 100 rooms usable during renovations. Food was marginal but acceptable while hotel under circumstances.

Amazing hotel right at the heart of Ndjamena. It has a lovely swimming pool, a bar, a sauna and a great menu. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are comfortable, cosy and spacious. The view from the rooms is breathtaking. The service is great too. I highly recommend this hotel for any type of stay.

Not what it use to be as the Kempinski but the staff is still incredible and so is the food. Yes the hotel can use some updating and the WiFi isn't the greatest but this is my favorite hotel in Chad.
