Overall, I would say I thoroughly enjoyed the 7 nights I spent in this hotel. It is a place that aspires to be 5 stars, but is closer to 3 stars. I think it deserves 4 stars. At first they put me in a regular room, and I was surprised by how bad the quality was. No windows, mediocre cleanliness, and a dirty looking and non-functioning massage chair in the corner. I went down to inquire about the VIP rooms (15$ more per night), and they must have seen I was not satisfied because they immediately said the vip room would be the same price. The VIP room quality was a lot better with more space and better furnishings. The beds are very comfortable! The cleanliness is pretty good, but with some glaring failings (one towel had blood on it, which had clearly been washed... Just not completely). The shower also didn't drain properly. There are also a lot of strange things that I was surprised to see here, like plastic covering of doorframes and furniture left on even though it is only meant to protect during delivery. But don't get me wrong, overall it was clean and comfortable, which is exactly what you want from a place like this. Another positive surprise was the restaurant. Reasonably priced and good, make sure you ask for the Chinese menu (i.e. For Chinese people. It's slightly more expensive, but it's also serious cuisine) The staff are also VERY friendly and helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, even if it needs work in some parts.

Comfortable bed, clean, big rooms (on Vip side of the building-make sure to negotiate a price at the check-in)...restaurant gives generous portions and very good Chinese food. Location is also quite good. Overall good exerience for Ndjamena conditions

This place is horrible. Bad service. I saw a rat and roaches all over the place.

An ok place with courteous Chinese manager. The food is good. The servers can do better. Don't leave your precious stuff (especially money, phones, etc) openly displayed in the rooms

Love the place. Love the invisible room service... Lol. Went to N'djamena for business and this was really one of best hotel comfort based.

I really enjoyed my stay and the whole attendants were friendly and approachable...not so expensive, very affordable

No hot water! I have hardly took shower in this cold mornings of the year. Internet log in is not working in most of the time, I have to use my cell phone internet.
