Has a great stock of authentic bengali items, whether stationery, raw food items, masalas, muri-s, thakur and Bengali puja items, bengali dresses (even topor), sweets, imported bengali and exotic bengali items. The ones we purchased are quite fresh and quite reasonably priced. This is another shop found in Whitefield apart from BEML Layout and HAL. Let's spread the word about this shop! They do deliveries too! They stock some bong items that I haven't seen anywhere else, at least in Whitefield...like ponjika, gur batasa, topor, Gita boi, special posto, etc. They are also opening up an exclusive bengali fast food centre. Do go there to get reminded of Kolkata/WB especially if you haven't been to Kolkata for some time...

The only 'mudikhana' (grocery shop) focusing on Bengali cuisine in Whitefield area as of date. They have a good lineup of products sourced directly from Bengal, including fresh vegetables , groceries, clothes and an increasing lineup of offerings. They take orders on Whatsapp or on their website, I prefer the whatsapp mode - gives you the old school pleasure of creating a 'phordo' ! Ample parking space in and around the shop. Clean and neatly stacked shop. And yes, they have their own FSSAI certification for product quality assurance. No non-vegetarian stuff available as of yet. They do provide augmented services like priest, maids, and bringing custom items from homeland.

Good West Bengal product ( i mean the products which are not easily available outside West Bengal). But the price was a bit on the higher side. But rest assured you can get almost every item (except fish and meat products). Overall satisfactory experience. Maybe I will visit again for a few other products which are not easily available in Bangalore.

A very good place for all the Bengalis who living in Bangalore. Home made masalas taste is great. Home made ghee is very good. Special poppy seeds are very good. There have also all type puja essential.And also a some collection of clothes..
