Nachiyar Restaurant is South Indian Chettinad restaurant. The ambiance is quite simple but cool. The furniture (esp sofas) needs replacement. The staff is quite courteous and serve the food with warmth. Myself being new to Chennai, I was greeted by the serving staff with quite friendly gesture & they even took extra pain to explain me about dish they serve in Hindi. I really appreciate this gesture. The mutton & chicken thali was quite amazing. So is the boti masala. The items in the thali were unlimited except the side dish. My family enjoyed the meals. All the items in menu card are not available at any time. Rabbit Masala, crab & turkey dish are only available during festivals. Goli soda served in end was quite refreshing. Billing can be done by cards or UPIs.

I have never experienced anywhere quite like this. The server was very rude while serving, and the biryani tasted more like tomato rice. When we inquired about the quality of the biryani, they simply suggested a replacement with fried rice.

Don't waste your time & money. Biryani like tomato🍅🍅🍅 rice. Mutton sukka not worth. Costly but not worth of money...

You will get excellent Mutton Biryani, Non-veg meals is just ok. If you order some side dish with steam rice you feel wow

Tasty Biriyani & cleanliness. Biriyani served on banana leaf is excellent. Price is reasonable. Must watch and eat again. At Senthil Nagar Signal, on eastern side of Inner Ring Road. Public parking ample space.

The meals was good and rasam is awesome. Otherwise the mutton chukka was very hard, roti and pbm is ok type. Looks the oil is reused thus had trouble in digestion in the evening. Also the restaurant in the basement hence not elder friendly to get down and go up for handwash.

Good to have lunch they are providing unlimited veg and non veg meals, u will get variety of goli soda. Can try nachiyar spl briyani types which is good from normal briyani types and prices for starters and side dishes is high price and quantity and quality is ok. Can try occasionally.
