WARNING -- Don't Visit , Don't have the food here Stale food , Substandard quality , Hospitality at its worst ☹ One of the Worst experience ever In the restaurent . Yesterday I went to this place at around 9 Pm Friday 15th April & then I had to wait for more than an hour along with many other people . After getting the chance of having a seat they took 30 mins more to serve the horrible stale food . In the name of providing jain food , it was a complete disappointment . I had ordered thali , The items provided was sub standard & could not be eaten . There was no subzi given The worst part they did not even listen to what I had to say , the owner was busy counting the money . I had to pay Rs 200 for the stale food & also wait for 90 mins , Thank you Pankaj Bhojnalay 😒❌😡

Good place to have authentic North Indian vegetarian food in Ooty. Food is very tasty.

This is a pure vegetarian, North Indian style restaurant in the middle of the Ooty town and is in the commercial Street. They serve average quality food and quantity is also ok but they charge very hefty amount. But seems like the price in this area is at higher end. An average veg restaurant overall in this area.

Best food served for special jain dishes. Also if you are interested to have Gujarati, marwadi or marathi delicacy then you should visit this place. Serving food just like home at very reasonable prices 😃

Only place for good parathas in ooty..... Must visit. Only concern is.... There are no toilets. And it is located in charing cross. Good and tasty food

Good Rajasthani kind of food available.. but over expensive for the quality and quantity of food.. parking is very difficult.. washroom was worst...

Location accessibility is good, car parking is difficult to find. Food was good, expected to be served at some temperature as Udhangamandalam never gets hot enough. Thali was simple and the quantity was sufficient including rice and 02 extra roti (Phulka).

Lovely comfort food..tastes just like home..place can be done up a bit..however full points for hot chapatis with ghee..

Food is not at all good.We tried the thali which consists of 4 rotis, 1 bowl rice , 1 dry sabji, 2 wet curry, 1 rasam type, 1 gulab jamun, 1 /2 big papad, 1 kadi.Rotis are OK.But paying Rs 190 not even a single subji of Paneer.The taste of curries is poor.Did not feel it's like a north Indian thali.Service slow though the customers are less.Simple hotel.

At this place my experience was the worst I ordered veg biryani it was not gud at all.. don’t ever visit this No proper sitting arrangements.. no ambience .. over priced it’ is

Ambience wise it is okish and the chairs are so bad that it will shake with you. However, the food was very tasty. Loved the gulab jamoon. Would definitely suggest people to give this place a try. I would suggest people to take roti along with some side dish. Parantha's are ok. Mixed vegetable was good. Service was also good

All the good reviews are a couple of years old and for good reason. The servers here do not care at all and will not even bother to take your order. The rice was soggy and the food tasted weird. They have a nice menu tho so perhaps i went in one of the bad days but i doubt it.

If you are tired of eating parota and rice then this is the place you are searching for. Genuine vegitarian food with multiple options in rotis and bhakari. We were really satisfied with quality of food and service.Highly recommended for vegetarian people.

In Ooty? Homely Food? North Indian or Jain Food? You are in the right place my friend. 👍 Went two times for dinner. Loved the North Indian Thali & Dal-Bati Churma. 😋 Also, we had chapati with Dal Tadka & Paneer Butter Masala. 😋 Must visit this place if you are in Ooty. 🤗

I thank you very much Pankaj Bhojanalaya for being my saviour at late night 11PM. When all the food option was closed in entire ooty, this restaurant help me get the food parcel. It was very helpful since I was with my wife first time in ooty.

Nice food for swaminarayan and jain person ..really once a visit

We went all the way to eat breakfast but couldn't get it because the waiters said we need to wait for another half an hour. It's better to go to A2B nearby. This restaurant doesn't open before 9:30 AM

Went to this place by seeing 4 star reviews in Google. I had terrible experience here. Service was so poor that we had ask for each and everything like plates, spoons, bowls, refill the water. No one was interested to serve. Food was below average but the prices were of fine dining. It is nothing compared to Angaara restaurant, quality, quantity, service and prices everything was a disappointment at Pankaj Bhojanalay.

The best hotel in that area. Was very cooperative and helpful. And even the food was really nice. Try for their Thalli ... Was really worthy of money ...thank you Pankaj bojanalaya

Food taste is good and prepared as instructed. Ambiance is not at all good and may be rated below average. Even the stairs and entrance area is poorly maintained

It's a Punjabi restuarant. Very few items from menu was available. Taste was good.

Very bad service. Uncooked food. Unresponsive hotel management hence long wait time inspite of the hotel being totally free and not worth your money.

Prices are high which is okay, but amount is less. A paneer parotha literally felt like like eating plain parotha.

There’s not an option to give a ZERO, hence rating it one. The place although is situated in the market but serves tasteless food, upon requesting the staff/owner to change the dish - we were denied. Even when we were ready to pay extra. After finishing the food, our mom who is an elder and a Sr. Citizen was asked to go saying that there’s no space for the people to sit, which was not true. It was empty. Their rude staff and the owner himself asked my mom to go out of the restaurant which is very disrespectful. Our total experience was a disappointing one. I would not recommend anyone to visit this place

Food was good. There was a queue as we went during long weekend break but we were able to have a good dinner. Items served were simple and freshly prepared. Taste was also like home cooked meal.

this is a good place which served authentic North Indian style food. They have North Indian, Gujrati, Jain, marwari and marathi thali which are almost similar. But the food tastes authentic and very nice. We went during the Xmas weekend so we had to wait for 20 mins as they have 10-12 tables only. But the wait was completely worth it! We had ordered dishes paneer butter masala, dal tadka, Alu zeera and baingan bharta. There cooking style was not the same as expeceted but the food was yummm with nice butter phulkas. Even gulab jamuns were very nice. If you are looking for good North Indian veg food, then for it!

Food is good here although wait time is on a higher side as staff are few perhaps one or two as we could see. Anand Bhavan is right opposite to this place and is crowded always. Food is good though.

I went to Ooty for the first time and didn’t know the places much to eat or dine. Checked Google Maps and saw this restaurant with good rating. However, it wasn’t a great experience. The restaurant’s food quality and quantity both lacked the price justification. The fine weather in Ooty uplifted the mood and the restaurant ruined it in the end.

Nice place to eat tasty food, the staff was very friendly and did everything fast. The dish is big. Price was a bit higher then what we planned (see updated menu). Overall good experience

food was tasty. could have the authentic taste, i guess. however quantities are too little. with 190rs dal_bati you will get two ladoo size batis, now think twice before ordering. even thali has very less quantity and extra portions are chargeable. and one might have to order 2thalis to satisfy their hunger. on top the ambience is very ordinary and service is slow.

Its a good place to have north Indian food. Specially their roti is same like we have at home. Service is fast, sitting arrangement and interior is like average restaurant. Its approachable and near to main sqaure and market. But there is no separate parking place.
