We were here in September. It was cold and rainy. The hot toddy was just the thing. The food was amazing. We decided to go ahead and have all the courses - soup, salad, appetiser, entrées and dessert. I enjoyed every last dish. We were served a complimentary amuse bouche and palette cleansers between the courses which were unique and inventive. The young chef, who we had the pleasure of meeting, plated everything impeccably. His name is Magesh. A very talented chef. The service was also excellent - very attentive wait staff. The only critique I would make is that the place is a bit cold in the winter months and could use a room heater or fireplace.

Being on a dietary restriction, most of the food was easy to eat had I chosen any of the dishes. The chicken was cooked perfect that it had its own Periodic taste to it, unlike any other restaurant. Sided with magnificently cut veggies and barred couscous. Sauce on the side, exactly how anyone would want it to never drown something in touch Sauce. The smoked fish was presented in a long cylindrical apparatus and was cooked to perfection. Not chewy or thready or gooey. For the price they charge - the service, taste Ambience and presentation definitely earns all of it. Dessert was good too. Unfortunately, I couldn't go back again to try a few more dishes. They have great chain of hotels around the area too.

Perfect for a multi course sit down dinner. Very nice ambience. The spicy peanut and sweet potato soup was excellent.

I had hazelnut souffle which was so so so good here. Loved every bite of it. Thanks for chef Mr.Mahesh for taking time and effort to deliver that yummy dessert almost at closing time. Such a calm and fancy place. It's a great place for date nights.

Definitely a "must visit". The entire complex is pleasing and well laid out. The location is excellent. The decor is modern minimalist with a chemistry laboratory theme that's clever and innovative. The food is fabulous and each dish is an inspired creation. Service is efficient and friendly. Prices are moderate to high but definitely value for money. Parking available on premises.

Premium dining experience in Ooty, definitely you need to visit the place if you are seeking a fine dining experience. They have a very peculiar menu in order to cope with the premium experience which you get, hence the lunch menu is different from the Dinner menu. All the starters and main course which I ordered was definitely amazing. The owner and staff make you welcomed right away as you walk in. Black tacos chicken was my favourite.

This was an out of the world experience for me and my family. Everything is 💯 here. I had been to many a fine dining joints all over India and Europe but Periodic Table has exceeded my expectations in every way. Have not met the chef or the owner but a big salute for them and all those who made us feel at ease with our great culinary experience. Among all those who served us Moni and Naro is worth mentioning. Thanks once again to the Periodic Table team. Keep it up. I shall be visiting again.

Visited this place with my spouse on his birthday to experience delightful food. Ravishing dishes with amusing flavour, especially green chicken salad was epic and thyme passion fruit drink topped it. Had our wonderful course of meal throughout the evening and the surprise cake I ordered was delicious. Overall I highly recommend this place for astonishing food experience and excellent service.

The place is the most underrated place i have visited in my life. It has got great food, sexy food display, great chemical ambience and the best hospitality. It is a luxury restaurant, and yeah the price is little high but the experience of having food here itself is worth the price.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch at The Periodic Table this afternoon. Our host, Mr Smith's service was exceptional. The food is even better. Don't miss the olive oil chocolate cake. The ambience and the service definitely elevates the dining experience. Our regards to the chef. Looking forward to coming back here soon.

If ever there is a 'fine dine' which has come together from concept to design to taste and service, this is it. I have been to many a 'fine dine' around the world and the Periodic Table will rank among my favorite. I liked it so much that I visited twice in the same week. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in the exquisite recipes and the presentation only adds to super satisfaction at each bite that you take. The servers are very knowledgeable, professional and warm and to top it all this is one restaurant in the heart of Ooty with tons of parking. For a true dining experience, this is it!

Well, since it is a gourmet restaurant, food was good, pretty aesthetic and you'll be tasting a couple of new dishes. Taste is excellent, cost is on the higher side. Food is quite good. Enjoyable. If you are there to relish the food, it doesn't disappoint. Also they serve welcome dishes (I found a tiny hair ingrained in my food so that reduces 1 star). I wish that didn't happen ☹ Rest, the ambience. Good. Comfy. But expected more of Chemistry or decor about the Periodic Table / Scientists, like the name suggests. In fact, we picked the restaurant as we both are Chemistry people ☺ The staff was really polite, got a chance to interact with Koustav and Chandmali (hope I got the names correct!) Who served us beautifully 😇

This place is tucked away in the Little Earth Market in Ooty just opposite the Commissioner House. The cafe has opened recently and looks super cool at night. We ordered a Toddy (non alcoholic), double shot flat white coffee, Chicken Fettuccine in white sauce, Prawn Ravioli in red sauce and Chicken confit. All the dishes were good except the Fettuccine which seemed too salty for us. The total bill was Rs 3350 for all of this. I found the customer service good.

The place is excellent. Good parking place too. Clean and great tasty yummy food. Fm their salads to the soups ..to the maincourse. Very helpful staff,especially Smith who helped us to choose the best of food. Desserts r outstandingly superb. Lastly ,even their washrooms were clean .

Beautiful ambience and very warm and welcoming service. The staff was very professional and was able to provide details around portion sizes, sauce options, and answer other queries I had about the dishes. The serving experience is delightful. The flavours in all of the dishes were a joy for my taste buds, and the quality of the food was top notch. Highly recommend this place as a must-visit if you're in Ooty! Kudos to all responsible for creating and delivering such a great experience.

I had Prawns on Avocado Salsa - 5/5 Goat Cheese Ravioli - 4.5/5 Hazelnut Souffle - 3.5/5 ( do not recommend it) Smoked Pan-Seared Snapper - 1/5 ( This fish needs some kind of flavourful sauce or something). Fish had no taste at all.

Ordered Turmeric Tomato Soup, Ravioli, Grilled Chicken and almond soufflé. Also tried the hot toddy .. overall we liked every item we ordered. I think I could literally feel the freshness of the ingredients seeping through the dishes. Bit on the pricier side but highly recommended if you savour good food. Customer service is par for the course. Nice ambiance and well maintained.

I recently had an unforgettable dining experience at the periodic table and the whole experience was nothing short of perfect, the food was amazing from the taste to the platting, work of art. the spliendid customer service by our waiter Kaustab, From their warm greeting to their extensive menu knowledge, genuine passion for the cuisine, and impeccable attentiveness, this waiter created a remarkable atmosphere. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor struck the perfect balance, making us feel valued and relaxed throughout the evening. They swiftly resolved any issues that arose, truly elevating our dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and commend this exceptional waiter for their exceptional service.

We want to jave something different and got to know about this restaurant from Google. They serve continental food. We ordered salon grill, arabita pasta and a chicken dish (forgot the name). Salmon and pasta were good in taste, chicken dish also. Only issue is of they will use chicken breast piece (bone less), the taste of the chicken dish wull be much better. The interior of this restaurant is very good. Separate seating is also available for groups.

Taste of food at periodic table was really great! Location is awesome too. There was ample parking space. They serve pizza, pasta, fries, drinks etc. No north indian food! Service is quite good. The table and chairs were not very comfortable. A few items took too long in coming on table. We finished the 80% food in 25 min including the order and waiting time. The remaining 20% food came almost 45 min after we gave the order. They did not tell also. The worst part of periodic table is that the food is extremely expensive. Undoubtedly their quality and service is well above road side dhabas but it is well below Taj Hotel or Oberoi hotel. However their prices are close to these hotels. We paid approx. 4000 for 2 persons' lunch. Also, they confuse customers during payment. They will ask you to pay in two places saying that there are 2 separate entities which does not look so.

Fantastic. Food was delicious, staff were all professional and friendly. The ambiance of the dining room is calm and soothing. Definitely will be going back while we’re here in town. When their liquor license comes through I suspect the cocktails will be as good as the mocktails, which were great. A don’t miss place.

We had a wonderful experience. Tucked away in the heart of Ooty, this place was a great find! The staff here are really amazing. So much eye for detail and they make the entire experience worthwhile. The place has been done up so well. The rest rooms here are very clean and hygienic The food was simply amazing! If you are looking for a fine dining experience in Ooty, visit this restaurant. You wont be disappointed.

It's a fine dining place not a cafe. Many people go there thinking it's a cafe. I like the entire complex, having this fine dining place, okay type Le Cafe and a super market with plenty of parking space. Worth trying their Pumpkin soup, summer rolls, mushroom cannaloni and their signature dessert yogurt brulee. Their complementary breads are also good. When I was there, they don't have any pizza in menu. If going in bigger group or standard Lunch/Dinner time better to do an advanced booking. The sofas are super comfortable but the chairs are not.

It is one of the most beautiful places for lunch or dinner in Ooty. The atmosphere is amazing. The foods were exquisite. The service and presentation was an excellent experience. The servers were kind and explained every dish that was served. Was happy to meet Miss Naro, who was our server, thank you so much for your service. Will definitely recommend it to all.

We went here for lunch, had their hot toddy, prawn avocado salad, cheese ravioli with mushroom which were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented. Ambience was great, the outer seating is also shared by le cafe, we opted for outside seating. The fish we ordered was not tasty, it might need some sauce to make it a complete dish. There was just one person taking orders and serving, she couldn’t manage to attend us on time. We waited for 10 mins after our salad, walked inside to call her to take order for our main. An extra employee working at same time would’ve avoided this.

Absolutely wonderful afternoon Not only is the space attractive , but whoever put this playlist together - superb job ! The food was great ! So beautifully plated that I almost didn’t want to eat it - almost 😅 Everything was delicious!
