Had a memorable trip being so close to the nature. Good for birds and wild animals watching. If you are lucky you can get a chance to see tigers too.

Although we were not lucky enough to spot tigers, seeing the other wildlife and discovering the many lush corners of this nature reserve and oasis through a stunning safari drive was all worth it!

A fresh place, closer to nature (of course, it's a forest). The road is next to nothing and you will have to drive slow ( Speed limit is also 30Kmph) because of the road which is not there but gives a foresty/ adventures/ safari look and feel. Tigers are rare to see but you will definitely see Peacock, Sambhar, deers, reindeers, monkeys, coocoo etc. But no tigers trust me. You can use their safari services, they charge around 5000 - 6000 rupees for 6 seater Jipsy and around 10,000 for a lanter (it's like an open bus). Car entry charges are 385 rupees per car (offline on the spot) and I am not sure but it's around 275 rupees for online registration. I will recommend you to make online registration otherwise it will take all of your time in offline registration. Inside the premises there's a Humanman ji Telple (Pandupol Hanuman ji) and it's a must visit place. It's a trek btw. There's a Waterfall (MUST VISIT) near the temple (1 KM from the temple) which was made by Bheem when he didn't have way to go, he hit the mountain with his gadha and made his way forward. 🔆 IMPORTANT (WARNING)🔆 1. I will recommend not to bring anything edible with you else monkeys will stop you and might slap. 2. There's a parking at the entry of mandir before the start of trek, PARK YOUR CAR THERE. You can take your cars up on the hill but there's 90% chances that you will get stuck in traffic for the eternity. It's around 20-30 min trek please use your feet and don't take car. Even if you do take your car uphill there's solid 70% chances your car gets scretch. 3. (MOST IMPORTANT) There is NO CELLULAR NETWORK once you enter the sariska forest so call your families at the gate only because it's gonna take 4-6 hours before you get out. My family freaked out when they couldn't reach us. That's all you needed to know. For more information/ queries DM me on my Instagram @ajay.kome have a good day.

What a wonderful expedite that I had today with my friends! This is such an exotic experience for me and I loved it. Tigers together and alone on road and island road! 🐊 🐅 🙉 Name the animal and it’s there, they are on a wild Indian safari! This is not a zoo where you can see them rite there! It’s a wild place and they all are roaming outside freely. I loved the whole experience and I will share my pictures and videos. Go Tiger go! 🐯 🐅

Nestled in the Aravali Hills over an area of about 800 sq. Km covering the grasslands, dry deciduous forests, cliffs and rocky landscape, lays the Sariska National Park, now known as The Sariska Tiger Reserve. This area was once hunting preservation of The Maharaja of Alwar. The Reserve is known for its majestic Royal Bengal Tigers. It was declared as a national park in 1982. The protected area is a part of the Aravali Range and the Kathiawar-Gir dry deciduous forests ecoregion. In 1978, it was given the status of Tiger Reserve under the Project Tiger. It is the first tiger reserve to relocate the Tigers (from Ranthambore) successfully. As it lies in the lap of Aravali Hills, it holds an abundant amount of mineral resources like copper. Koi

Feel close to the mother nature with a this jungle safari. Cost of safari- 5800 per gypsy if booked from govt site. Private party charge around 7k. Some tips for safari- 1. There are 2 entry gates. Sariska gate and tehla gate. Both are at 2 ends of the park. Pls ensure you book your hotel to the gate located near to it. I had no idea abt this and had to drive 2 hrs one side for safari which was a total waste of time and effort. 2. A gypsy can accommodate 6 ppl. If your budget allows, book full gypsy. If you will book online on sharing basis, they will accommodate more people with you to make the number 6. 3. The national park has a variety of flora. The common animals here are spotted deer, neel gai, peacocks and more peacocks, crocodiles, langurs, wild boar. There are only 12 tigers and chance of spotting one is very mild. 4. Sariska safari is just a peacock safari. It wl not be a fun for you if u have already visited Jim corbett or rajaji national park. I haven't visited ranthambore so can't comment. But sariska safari is not worth its price. 5. I don't know the importance of guide in the gypsy. There is nothing that he can tell about. I spotted 100 peacocks, 75 neel gai, 50 deers & some langurs during 3 hrs ride and wasted 5.8k money.

Sariska 🐯 Tiger Reserve sits near the beautiful city of Alwar ⛰️ Surrounded with 🏞️ high mountain ranges this place serves as a home to so many Peacock 🦚 and other wildlife One thing which is different in most of the Rajasthan 🏜️ based Jungle safari is that even in 🚚 Jeep Safari you are provided to book seat wise allocation which is usually different and little costly than the other Jungle Safari in different other states. The Forest Office staff could have been a little more responsible & generous to quickly allot the waiting Jeep with the required guest and should ask the Jeep driver to move in the Jeep on time.

Sariska Tiger reserve...One of the popular tiger reserve of Rajasthan. Very good dense forest....very well protected by Forest department. A good landscape for Tiger and other animals sambhar, cheetal, wild boar etc. A temple "Pandu pol" is also situated in side the forest...history of pandavas is related to it. Over all a good experience, A good piece of management by Forest Dept., Govt. Of Rajasthan.

If u love nature. You must came here. If you want to see wild life animals, you have to book a vehicle from booking. If you come with own vehicle, you can go to Pandu pole temple and waterfall. Don't came out to vehicle.

Sariska tiger Reserve where you can See various species of animal. If you are lucy then you can See the tiger and leopard . We did the jeep safari which was really cool... The experience of deep jungle is quite rare and amazing... Its feels awesome. We got the chance to See the leopard today. You can easily See diff types deer, peacock, crocodiles, wild pig, नीलगाय, sambhar Remember Don't feed anything to wild animal its illegal and you can't get down from jeep once We entered the jungle. Once safari starts it will stop in mid before entry to deep jungle for restroom. They also stop safari time to time for clicking picture of animals but its tough to click picture from your mobile phone some time there very far. One thing I missed in this trip that I didn't took binoculars for clear view of animals. And if you want good picture you need good camera with good zoom quality.

Nice place ,,nature lover must visit this place once. With a good view of hills you can enjoy wildlife also,, There are some forest department guidelines you must follow them or can face the problem :--,,If you are thinking to going on top of the hill ( moosi maharani ki chatri) then you need a car or another four wheeler vhicles,,You can have the car on rent from here. Note:- Don't think to go with the bike,, bike are restricted for safety reasons by forest department guidelines..Infact I also couldn't go inside this gate because I was on bike .so keep it in mind . Have fun

I recently went on a Safari at Sariska Tiger Reserve and it was an incredible experience. The guides were knowledgeable and the safari vehicles were comfortable, allowing us to get up close to the wildlife without disturbing them. We weren't lucky enough to see a tiger in its natural habitat. There were deer, crocodiles, sambar, mongoose, peacocks , different kinds of bird and hyenas which we spotted. The reserve is well-maintained and offers a unique opportunity to see these majestic creatures in their natural environment. Overall, I highly recommend the Tiger Reserve Safari to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure. One can visit there on a weekend trip if they live in Delhi or a nearby area.

It's a nice place to visit during March April. The weather is nice with a variety of flora and fauna. It's always better to book tickets in advance online. I guess the tickets are pricey at Rs1150 per person in a gypsy. As informed by our tour guide visitors only have access to 20 percent of the reserve. It's a rare sight to see a tiger. You can find a lot of peacock deer langoor etc and lots and lots of palash trees which is a great sight. They have a restroom outside the reserve which wasn't very clean though. Overall a nice visit in good weather.

A huge forest area which shelters a large number of flora and fauna including tigers, peacocks, deers, boars and many more birds and animals. You should definitely go for a safari and you might see a tiger if you're lucky but you'll definitely see all the other animals and birds in their natural habitat. Regarding the booking, you can book online or offline at the ticket counter (there are different prices for different "types of sources" so make sure you do your research). The safari and the reserve itself is great but the facilities are terrible (toilets and such). Contrary to some of the pictures, the canters are a great option if the Jeep safari is too expensive for you .

Can't explain the beauty of this place in words, try experience by yourself. So Sariska Tiger Reserve is a remarkable wildlife sanctuary in India. It Spread across 866 square kilometers, it's home to a variety of species, including the majestic Bengal tiger. The lush landscape, dotted with rocky outcrops and dense forests, offers a unique habitat for these magnificent creatures. Visitors can also spot leopards, hyenas, and a wide array of birdlife. Although tiger sightings can be rare, the park's natural beauty and diverse wildlife make it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts.

This is very nice place for visit with family, children and friends. The greenary, trees , adventurous path of sariska and natural beauty makes the place next level. This is situated in Aravli Hills of Alwar. Here you can watch many type of animals and birds. Safari is very nice , it's coasting arround 1500₹ for per person. When you are traveling in Govt. Safari Jeep in deep of forest you can saw tiger luckily. Better time for visiting is after August month because this is time of nature greenary. You can saw easily Peacock , deer , wild buffalo, wild pig , parrot , many type of birds , swamp deer , sambar deer , Cheetal Deer, Neelgay and Many more. Food item in Sariska is not allowed. Car ticket price is 375 . When you are visiting sariska then Also visit Pandu Pol Hanumanji temple and waterfall in Tuesday and Saturday by own vehicle. If you looking for better picture then visit after August month in own vehicle. The path of sariska and vibe is very attractive. This good place for children's tour. I am adding some pictures and videos from here. You can watch so many Monkeys here. Monkey 🐒 are playing with their group is also attractive. In whole way monkey, peacock and deers are available. Watch so many wild animals near the Water source . We can soent Here is almost 2 or 3 hour if we drive slowly.

My visit to Sariska Tiger Reserve was a thrilling encounter with nature's untamed beauty. Nestled in the Aravalli range, the reserve presented a mesmerizing landscape of dense forests, rocky cliffs, and open grasslands. The anticipation of spotting a tiger, the crown jewel of Sariska, added an element of excitement to the safari experience. As our safari vehicle traversed through the diverse habitats, the knowledgeable guides shared insights about the varied flora and fauna inhabiting the reserve. The sight of elusive leopards, graceful sambars, and vibrant bird species painted a vivid picture of the reserve's biodiversity. While the elusive nature of tigers kept us on the edge of our seats, the reserve's conservation efforts were evident. The commitment to preserving this critical habitat showcased a harmonious balance between wildlife protection and eco-tourism. The ancient Kankwari Fort within the reserve added a historical touch, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The overall experience at Sariska Tiger Reserve was a captivating blend of adventure, education, and appreciation for the delicate ecosystem that the reserve strives to protect. It stands as a testament to the importance of wildlife conservation and the unique charm of India's natural treasures.

It is a tiger reserve. Although you can take your car inside but you are not allowed to get off your vehicle and would be required to stick to the main trail; the better option is to take safari ride offered by the govt they would take you deeper into the reserve off the main trail and you would have better chance of seeing a tiger or leopard. This is not a picnic place. There is a temple around 20 km inside the reserve unless you consider it as a picnic place.

One of the best safari experience so far, the forest is deep and lots of animal sightings, unfortunately we were not able to spot any tiger, however Nilgai, spotted and sambar deer, peacock and peahen, crocodile, wild boars can be easily spotted. The only draw back here is while you can book the tickets online , but still you have to get in a line to get the canter/gypsy car pass, which does not make any sense and many-times agents come in between for their booking larger number of bookings which delays the entire process and you will loose on your safari time.

Tiger Safari was good but it totally depends on your luck & the knowledge of your guide whether he is able to get the call from Rangers where the Tiger is. You will find the place a Natural beauty which is full of Flora n Fauna. 21 Tigers are there in this reserve of area 1200 sq. Km range so sight seeing depends on above condition.

Whether you want to have camel safaris, go out for shopping in the surrounding places, visit medieval palaces or wildlife watching; Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary is the best place for you.Nearly 90% of the area in the sanctuary is covered with dhok trees accommodating various wildlife species. A variety of other wild animals like the leopard, sambhar, chital, nilgai, four-horned antelope, wild boar, rhesus macaque, langur, hyena and jungle cats are found in the Sariska Tiger Reserve apart from the tiger. Sariska Tiger Reserve is a tiger reserve in Alwar district, Rajasthan, India. It stretches over an area of 881 km2 (340 sq mi) comprising scrub-thorn arid forests, dry deciduous forests, grasslands, and rocky hills. This area was a hunting preserve of the Alwar state and was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1958. It was given the status of a tiger reserve making it a part of India's Project Tiger in 1978. The wildlife sanctuary was declared a national park in 1982, with a total area of about 273.8 km2 (105.7 sq mi).[1] It is the first reserve in the world with successfully relocated tigers. It is an important biodiversity area in the Northern Aravalli leopard and wildlife corridor. The park is situated 106 km (66 mi) away from Hindaun, 107 km (66 mi) from Jaipur and 200 km (120 mi) from Delhi.[2] It is a part of the Aravalli Range and the Khathiar-Gir dry deciduous forests ecoregion.[3] It is rich in mineral resources, such as copper. In spite of the Supreme Court's 1991 ban on mining in the area, marble mining continues to threaten the environment.Kankwadi Fort- A 16th-century fort, originally built by Jai Singh II, located near the centre of the park. Temple of Neelkanth Pandupol Hanumanji Temple - Located in the hills in the centre of the reserve is believed to be one of the retreats of the Pandava. This pilgrimage site causes problems for wildlife, due to heavy traffic. Sariska Palace - Was used as a royal hunting lodge of Maharaja, was associated with the kings of Alwar. Viratnagar - Some ruins of a Buddhist monastery on a hillock called Bijak ki Pahadi that dates back to 3rd century BC. #forest #tiger #animals

Sariska tiger reserve is a great place to be for safari.. close to 4 hours of safari, the drivers are very enthusiastic to show you a tiger or leopard. The canteen facility is good here at the start of the park. There are washrooms also available in the middle of forest.

Like most of the tiger reserves, you need to extremely fortunate to spot a tiger. I took the Safari organized by Rajasthan government and i must say that they made 100% efforts to help us spot one. You neee to go as early as 6am to begin the tour. Advance Online booking is a must. The forest is spread out very wide and you would atleast find birds, Antilope etc.

It was really cool but I didn't got to see the tiger.but when you don't see a tiger yourself then they give you a tiger which is leashed so it can't jump on you so I liked it 😍🥰😘

One of the the top tigers reserves in India having a population of 16 as told but less in real . But the total ambience of typical Rajasthan decideous forest is preserved. Safari starts from 6-7 depending on season. Best time to do Safari is in morning slot as it's more likely to spot animals. If you are too lucky as me you would spot a tiger but don't keep high expectations. Canter and gipsy bookings can be done in Sso Rajasthan site. It will be arounf450 for canter and 800 for gipsy. Routes are allocated randomly at the ticket counter whichever you pre book online. Preference would be for local guides who charge high and tats the only annoying part I find here. Inside there is pandupol Mandir . Private vehicles are allowed inside on Tuesday and Saturdays by paying around 275 for four wheeler. First bus to sarsiska from alwar leaves at 4.20 from alwar bus depot . But bike ride from Delhi is thrilling but dangerous at nights

Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary, Alwar Overview Nestled in the Aravali Hills over an area of about 800 sq. As it lies in the lap of Aravali Hills, it holds an abundant amount of mineral resources like copper

  • 5/5 Manish K. 7 months ago on Google
Nice Tiger Reserve. Other wild animals can easily seen. Gypsy and Canter are available at entrance gate.

  • 4/5 Vijay P. 8 months ago on Google
Nice place located between Aravali range. Very near to Delhi ncr . I found it very quiet and peaceful. Roads near the reserve are not so good. Lots of wild animals inside the reserve. The chance of tiger sightings is less compared to Ranthambore. There are other historical places around this . One day trip or picnic can also be planned. It's open in the rainy season also .
