NEVER EVER GO FOR INDOOR TREATMENT. Alright where do I start... They charge the same as AMRI or Medica but when it comes to providing service, they are in many ways worse than a government hospital. They refuse to admit you without cash advance even if you have cashless medical benefits, they will send false information to your insurance provider and make sure you don't get reimbursed. The nurses are unprofessional, the food is never as per the dietician's recommendation, they don't bother sweeping the floors or cleaning the bathroom at regular intervals. Horrible housekeeping. I literally cringed at the uncleanliness at all times. I went for surgery and came back with COVID. The flush, the handwash even the dustbin were broken and nobody fixed it during my stay. I will never go in-patient again and nor will I ever admit or recommend anyone I know. In fact, I'll spread the words so that none of the people I know have to go through the harrassment I faced because of this piece of trap place. A lot of people I know have had similar or even worse experiences over here. Finally, to the management, if you're reading this, first learn to provide services like those high end Hospitals then charge whatever you're charging for the below average services you provide at present. Would give you -5 stars if I could.

About Dr. Ram Kumar Singh - General Physician Most disgraceful and arrogant doctor in the city. He has no ethics and no manner. He has behavioral issues. He not even bothers to talk with a patient politely. Horrible experience. Rude and rough attitude and lack of expertise. He cannot diagnose a simple issue with out prescribing lots of tests. If you do your test with out his recommendation, he will lose his commission and not entertain you. Do not waste your money by consulting this bad bad doctor.

Perhaps one of the worst hospitals in kolkata. They have a bunch of inexperienced, unskilled, highly unprofessional, unethical and inhuman hospital staff who are even extremely rude to the patients and their families. Families who are already tensed, upset and worried for their family members who are admitted. They dont even have any proper coordination between themselves due to which the patients and their families suffer to a great extent. They just know how to pass on the blames to others instead of accepting their mistake and taking the responsibility and ownership to resolve those. Never visit this hospital if a genuine treatment and service is what you are looking for otherwise you will suffer like I did after admitting my patient there. Hope this piece of advice helps you all.

My dad is admit today at IRIS hospital for (Dengu positive) But their madical management is so bad. My dad is cardiac patient . He need some medicine before breakfast but the sisters forgot to give it. And the bathroom is so smelly and unhygienic. And we choose for non-veg food for patient but they gave veg only .. is this a corporate hospital's behaviour? How they want to run it. Is this way. No longer they run. I suggest plz don't go there. If u don't afford money so go for govt. Hospital that will be better but no iris hospital . If u love your family members so don't go in IRIS. Now your family your choice.

Woefully short staffed in outpatient. They should have 3 times the number of people in cashier and record keeping. The single lady in the counter is trying her best to multi task like crazy with a dozen people in front of her. Pity her. But the hospital is milking the patients with zero knowledge of customer service. Iris management. Pay attention.

My family members have been admitted here several times doctors are really good service and hospital staffs are okay but the concern is about maintenance and hygiene. Rooms and ceilings are damp floors are dirty and visitors washroom is worst it's too dirty doesn't seems it's a hospital jet spray flush not working. Today I accompanied my patient to the 1st floor washroom and was waiting out got to see the next room is a food pantry it was very dirty with soil all over the floor I clicked a picture and the staff quickly shut the door idk what food the patients are having i hope atleast they do pest control.

IRIS Multi-speciality Hospital- The worst ever hospital and freaking careless staffs. The doctors convey wrong information, switch off their phones on emergency situations, all of sudden declares the patient is covid positive and makes a bill of Rs. 50k+ in 2 days that too with patient's health deteriorating. Made us do some useless tests and scan without explanation to the family. Doctors doesn't show up on time. The doctors' motive is to earn and not serve the patient. They all forget about their freaking oath they take during MBBS years.

Average one. Facilities are available. Well equipped with necessary machines and medicines. Staff behaviour is not so bad and not so extraordinary. OPD is fine. Charge is a bit higher. First time fee β‚Ή 600 and post registration β‚Ή500. Families of ICU patients need to be careful. They may charge you many extra items. Overall a bit costly. Covid vaccine are chargable.

Worst hospital and worst doctors ever seen. Ask patients to do same test every day and swine flu test is also asked for a non flu patient. Non critical patients get administration in icu. Only to increase bills. Total blood count test is done everyday for the patient during his stay for 7 days. Total bill was 1,43,000 for patient(non covid-covid rcptr done thrice, only cough and cold). RMO also have no clues for the same repeatative tests. (NB- EARLIER TESTS HAD NO FINDING ALSO FOR THE SAME REPEAT TESTS FOR CONTINUE 7 DAYS)NOT RECOMMENDED.

My mother was recently hospitalized. She was completely under the care of Dr Ramkumar Singh. I didn't have to worry about anything. He took care of everything- starting from check ups to tests. The hospital is very neat and clean. The staff are polite and well-behaved.

Dr pratik Das Gupta is a very good doctor as well as a good human being. But the receptionist Ms Sreejoyee Halder is very bad behaviour lady. My mother is very old patient of Mr Dasgupta (from 2014).But only for the rude behaviour we don't want to go IRIS next time. Ms Halder behave like an annoying person, why this type of lady sits in reception. No one goes hospital in a good situation. Pls give training to Ms Halder how to behave, otherwise no one wants to go IRIS. Very very bad behaviour.

My mother was admitted to Irish Hospital for brain tumor surgery under the supervision of Dr. Rahul Saha and Dr. Niloy Biswas of this hospital on 10/10/2020. They killed my mother within a day of the operation by treating her in a completely wrong way. My mother was given Anesthesia on Sunday morning without waking up,while she was asleep. For which Dr. Rahul Saha and Dr. Niloy Biswas could not regain my mother's senses after the surgery. Dr. Rahul Saha, Dr. Niloy Biswas and Irish Hospital authorities are fully responsible for my mother's death.

So, I went to iris hospital for my mom's treatment early in the last month. We were happy after seeing the smooth arrangements by staffs and their professionalism. Specially to be named one staff, Upama Maiti- who helped me to fetch three years old data, (last time I visited for my mom) which actually help the doctor for better understanding regarding patients history. Thank you team iris:)

My wife and mother went to take the COVID-19 vaccine. They charged as per the norms. But the biggest disappointment happen after this. After giving the vaccine they just put a cotton with tape no Bandaid. This is absolutely not acceptable from an private hospital.

No issue with the hospital or nurses. But the doctor was ill mannered... When rest patient accepted to let my aunt go first as she was not able to sit longer due to illness and nurses also agreed.... After sitting in front of the doctor he refused to check and wanted us to stay in queue. When there is need it is obvious there could be exception, also she is 80 years old. Dr.Arnab duari (nephrologist) is very much impolite and lack in humanity.I would not even give 1 star they don't deserve

The most horrible service provider.... Whether in house patient services or OPD...... everywhere....the effects of mismanagement is reflecting. In OPD, if doctor is coming at 3pm, they will ask you to at 2pm and start waiting for an hour before. For USG booking, we have to call this hospital thrice and then also no call back receive.

Hospital owned doctors are mainly focused on testing and suggesting unnecessary test just to increase the billing amount. Car parking is a big problem here. Parking are available and these are mainly for doctors. So, if anybody wants to come here , then has to visit by auto or local conveyance.

Very bad hospital , and specially marketing team is useless , was planed to do a delivery and spent 1.3-1.4 but after talking to them one week before the delivery , it's a big No .. They are making insane buisness in the name of Covid ... They said if you don't carry a Covid negetive report you have to purchase ppe kit for 4 days for all the Hospital staff !!!! And if you carry then for few staff !!!! Is it a joke ?? For all the staffs why should I buy ppe kit if my patient have an emergency and am not able to get a negetive report ?? My given rate given from Iris with doctor fees medicine everything around 1.10 , and in suit 1.30-1.40 , We did it from Neotia Newtown , with a first class facilities and neat & Clean atmosphere at 1.3 in deluxe cabin To fellow patients , who want to do a surgury Clary everything clearly before taking any step Visited the hospital once for OPD and the Toilet outside opd was the worst we have seen in any private hospital .. The Hospital who can't even keep there OPD toilet clean asume people who goes to them are fool and will pay N number of money according to there wish.... I even asked them what can be the amount ,they said ppe kit for all staff for four days you calculate yourself.. see the cunning ness of marketing team God save this hospital

Stuffs are very friendly here.Onr can find some renowned doctors of kolkata here.Food is given according to the conditions but someone told me that sometimes they give food in a very insufficient amout to some of the patients,i realy feel that they need to improve their food department for the patients. At night you might struggle a little bit in case of some emergency pain or something ,I found that some of the nurse behave very rudely with the patients but some of them were really well behaved ...moreover u will get a mix experience over there.

My 3 years back experience was good. Care, cleanliness, billing, reception and back office every thing was good. Admitted based on known doctor advice , he also took all possible care. Only negative point, they did not allowed cashless from ICIC Lombard corporate policy and have to settle for reimbursement. Not sure if that is not the case now. So, verify before you admit.

The OPD is good but the hospital service if admitted is pathetic. Very less attendants to attend patient. Not at all experienced to handle patients. To create channel they pierced me 3 times in the same hand. They provided tea at 4:20 pm for a bed ridden patient but served the tea at 5:10 when it was no tea at all. If i rang the bell they used to switch off the bell and used to tell as i am coming. Charge to like stealing. Same thing RG Stone charges 27K with same doctor same treatment. IRIS charged 36K. Infrastructure is very pathetic. OT beds are not think for a healthy person. Very few attendants have patience and treats well. Mostly immature and doesn’t have any knowledge.

Excellent facilities and caring doctors. My father-in-law was admitted here for almost two weeks due to complications related with Cancer. They took very good care of him. Dr. Pratik Dasgupta is an asset to this hospital. He is extremely caring towards his patients. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the pharmacy attached to the hospital. Firstly, as a hospital pharmacy their stock of medicines need to be much better. Secondly, the people working in the pharmacy need to be much more efficient and quick.

I had to take my father to Hospital as he was having high fever. Senior doctor in Emergency diagnosed him wrongly, doctor's behaviour was very rude and would puzzle you. They looted 10K in 30 minutes in some random examinations and his reports were not good so they asked me to leave immediately. Another senior doctor was yelling at me to take my father immediately. I would not recommend IRIS to anyone.

Horrible.. They took hell of time to admit patient.. They will impose vegetarian food on you. They will even take more time to discharge you from the hospital when Doctor already issued discharge certificate. I am a patient and my husband is waiting for hours but they are unable to discharge me. My mother in law aged about 80 years who is waiting in a Covid hospital after discharge and waiting for us to take her home but after telling them repeatedly they are taking hell of time discharging me. The worst place I have visited for an appointment for my father. Ms. Aditi Saha who attended us in the reception , was very rude and she did not have the courtsey to talk politely. She did an unethical activity by misguiding me while billing. She charged me Rs.100 for registration but billed the amount for Privilege card and did not even inform me. When I checked and asked her to give in written that charging for privilege is same as charging for registration, she could not explain amd ultimately she delivered a new bill for Registration. Seems hospital is misguiding people. Also when I asked for Doctor's chart she refused to give it just out of anger. This is the first and last time I will be visiting this place.

In a hospital, where the bills go upto lacs. A hundred rupees registration charge is taken. A farce. At opd. There is no problem with a registration charge. But, vehement discrepancies creep up with a number of patients regarding it's expiry and rules. They charge unlawful registration twice a year, even thrice, citing the reason, 'system show korche na' One elderly man, showed prescription a few months old, claimed repeatedly he paid Registration last time. The attendant, kept on insisting for a registration fee. We're they calling that man his mid 70s a liar? A customer a liar, for a mere 100 rs. Cheap mindset. Doctor opd timings are updated over ph the very day of appointment, as if patients don't have anything else to do. Also, doctors in iris have no regard of timing, half an hour to an hour late is just brushed off. Pathetic attendants, money sucking institution. Never visit this place. I hope their directors read this, my family is placed in different reputed hospitals and I have seen employees getting to pay over google reviews. Hope this management has the sense of doing what is right. Talking about second floor opd.

On the day of my visit to the TPA department, regarding discharge of my father Gopal Kumar Chaki who was a patient at your hospital in the 5th floor , room no: 508B from 04/04/2023 to 09/04/2023 and had undergone several tests at your facility under the care of Dr. Depankar Sarkar . We were there to collect the original documents of every test done at your hospital for the insurance claim process. However, the staff members (mainly 2 person ) present in the department behaved very rudely and unprofessionally. They refused to hand over the original documents and even went to the extent of shouting and using curse words and accused us of not paying the hospital bills, which was entirely untrue as we had already paid the requisite amount through a debit card, and we had the receipt. when we asked the TPA personnel to show their ID cards or to identify themselves, they refused to do so and became more aggressive. When I tried to record their actions on my camera, they forcibly removed me from the TPA office with the help of the security guard. The TPA personnel used brute force and lethal back-handed tactics during this process, which resulted in me being injured. Moreover, one of the staff members came out of the office and tried to threaten us. We recorded the incident, and when he realized that he was being recorded, he immediately went back inside. We felt extremely embarrassed and humiliated by their behavior, which was entirely unwarranted and unprofessional. I want to draw your attention to the fact that the behavior of your staff members was entirely unacceptable, and they have not only breached their professional conduct but also caused mental harassment to me and my family member. I request you to take strict action against the concerned staff members and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. I hope that you take my complaint seriously and take the necessary steps to address the issue. I would appreciate it if you could update me on the actions taken in this regard. I’m trying to attach the image of the two TPA worker in question who has compelled me to write this letter.

I like this place because of their large number of facilities for medical tests, good behavior of the staffs and cleanliness. But I would like to draw attention of the administration that do not pressurize doctors for writing unnecessary tests. This will gradually decrease the respect people showed to you.

My sister had a recent LUCS operation at this hospital...the cleanliness, food quality and the staff all were good except the billing part...the management had specialist employees having expertise in fleecing technology...they will bill you in the most cruel way in the name of different medical devices and bifurcate a single operation into different fragmented process...it was to my greatest surprise that a simple LUCS carried out in one hour inside the OT was charged to the tune of Rs. 24500/-.... except medicine and disposables used therein..further I would like to mention the heads also under which they charged incredible amounts..... 1.OT CHARGES @6000/- fair 2.MONITOR (OT) CHARGES @5000/- unfair 3.RESUCITATION UNIT CHARGES @3500/- unfair 4.DIATHERMY CHARGES @5000/- unfair 5.STERILISATION CHARGES @5000/- unfair Now just imagine how unjustified it is that in an operation even the OT monitor and other equipments are charged separately other than a hefty operation theatre charges...simply immoral, unethical and corrupt practices... ultimately I would like to term this hospital "a totally business minded corporate institution, keen only for their own profit...not at all concerned about the patient's financial status"

Very recently my daughter got herself admitted in this hospital with dengue fever, I have nothing to say even a single word against this hosp, starting from the Doctors, nurses and all other supporting staff including TPA, all remain ready to serve the infirm all the time, all are very polite and well mannered.. & finally I must admit about the expenses, well they are extremely reasonable in comparison to other by-pass class of hospitals.

If you are staying near to Garia to Bagha Jatin area Iris Hospital could be your option. It is little newer than other hospitals of the EM Bypass connected area. It is located at the main road and just beside the Bagha Jatin Big Bazar at Ganguly Bagan region. Outdoor ticket price is reasonable and you can access if you have hurry and problem to get service from Bagha Jatin Hospital. Because, this is more neat and clean. Reviews on doctors are mixed. Medicine shop and reception centre is at the ground floor.

Please do not go to this hospital, they have very inexperienced medical staff, even do not experienced in small procedures, they overcharged for everything, will loot your hard earned on non medical expenses. The most important that you expect is treatment which is very poor here and they are not concerned of it.

Very bad handling of patient. No human face whatsoever. My grandmother has a joint ball replacement. She was ok after the surgery. Few days later her condition detoriated so drastically that she was on the verge of death. Even then they did not realise and we had to explain to them that she had to be shifter to the ICU. What is the use of nurses if they donno anything. Then in the ICU all tests came bad. They almost killed a patient

Behaviourwise worst hospital. If you go for any emergency cases they will do business with you. Few months back I visited due to family emergency and they were tried to force me for plastic surgery for a half inches torn which can be done with four stiches. Moreover they took 500 for one tetanus injection. I am feeling shame to visit the hospital.

  • 2/5 Shubham C. 4 years ago on Google
The first time I'm seeing a doctor charge consultation fees again for showing the medical reports, the reason as told to me being that the follow up was on the consequent day as the first visit. The irony? The medical reports were provided to us for tests (conducted at the very same hospital) a day after! The receipt provided was for a regular visit instead of a follow up, and upon enquiring, the hospital staff said that there was no provision to follow up under any circumstances, blaming the system and there being nothing that they could do. Corporate thievery much?

Hospital is good but most of the nurses are not well trained, food is well cooked, hygienic, room is neat clean, multispeciality hospital with high rates of treatment and bed charges but not upto the mark at certain parameters . Not completely satisfied with the service provided for the price paid.post operative care should be given more attention!

we had our daughter's surgery at IRIS Multispeciality Hospital on 2nd. August, 2019 under Dr. Souvik Adhikari. We put below our experience and impressions about the same : 1. The doctor was one of the best in West Bengal in the field of plastic surgery. He is extremely precise, cpmpetent, empathetic with a nice personality. One can really depend on him . 2. The Hospital was neat and clean with good house keeping . 3. All the staff including junior doctors, nurses, dietritians, and others were very well behaved ,helpful and cooperative. 4. Services rendered by the staff members were more than good. 5. Cost of treatment is quite reasonable compared to other hospitals of similar standard ! We would like to thank the administration, and staff on behalf our daughter and ourselves and recomend IRIS and the doctor to our friends and relatives in case of their need.

IRIS hospital only believes in patient servicing only when you are admitted. My patient (my 80 yr old) grandmother got her wrist fractured and was admitted for a Kay wire fixation. She never complained of the treatment and the service. One month later, she was taken to OPD for removing the cast. She was asked to take an x-ray. The family attendant was not given admission and the attendants and technician could not handle the patient and she fell. The family members were called in only when things went beyond control. We salvaged the situation somehow and then we took her for eco cardiogram. We insisted that we come in so that we can take care of her. We were not allowed again and now worse, despite repeated warnings to the hospital staff, she fell another time because they couldn't provide her enough support. And now she is writhing in pain and can't even breathe, as her ribs hurt unbearably. So IRIS hospital is recommended only when you are ok to run out of your insurance cap during admission (because they are bloody expensive), but for any subsequent service in the OPD section, BE CAREFUL. DON'T TRUST THE HOSPITAL STAFF- ABSOLUTELY UNRELIABLE.

For almost a period of 6 months, my father underwent 12 sessions of chemotherapy for his cancer, and I couldn’t have found a better comforting and nurturing institution than IRIS. Not just the care provided by the IPD doctors, but the support staff including the ones involved in admission and discharge, couldn’t have been more friendly and supportive throughout the procedure. A special shoutout to my dear friend Mr Rintu Ali for he was ivolved and more than helpful in every step of the process throughout. Thank you to everyone involved, God bless. Godspeed. P.s. It is not a paid review.

This Hospital is a fact and good example of looting patient Mr Nikhil is aware of this and management permits yesterday patient was not provided food for eating till 4 pm when relative complained they says sorry, This word sorry is used as a great tool here they don’t have any reply to patient query. Medicines over here comes with 15% higher MRP from market No less in MRP and others doctor fees is charged more than twice if patient admitted. A complete video of these all will be telecasted on news channel very soon as reporters are already wathing these all, Also complain filed to Ministry of health let’s see what happens.

The experience with Doctor is just pathetic.. The positive online reviews are not true, so please do not go to him. The receptionist, Sweety, asked us to give the doctor a cash payment of 2000 rupees. This is the first time I have seen a hospital where you have to pay the doctor directly in cash, with no bill provided. Dr. Goswami is only interested in money, and he did not provide any solutions or prescribe any medication. There are many good doctors at Apollo or Fortis hospitals. Please avoid this place

Recently i am visited to iris hospital, but i am very much disappointed with their service. I am recently operated with hdfc ergo mediclam & my mediclam already pre approved during admission i have instructed to pay rs 5000 for non medical purpose charge & they told remaining amount they refund me. But during discharge they refund amount of only rs 91. My question is their how much cost for non medical charges for a minor surgery?although my mediclam previously pre approved & second things is their no any isolation ward for dengue patients, they kept me in a room along with a dengue patients & mosquito is their although they did not provide any mosquito net.

Experience is pretty good and all the staffs, nurse, dietician and paramedics behaviour is polite and kind in nature. The environment also is good but during the time when I was admitted here the security protocols to much hazardous and some time it is to much harsh with patient's family member. It's not tolerable and I protest on it. And on the otherside consumable products ( IVSets, Three way stopcock,Syringes) which are given by hospital pharmacy to the patients are not branded and quality is very bad. As a result drug lose, safety of patient is disrupted, high chance of HAI to the patient and unnecessary billing cost is high of patient party. These poor quality of products are not accepting under the Corporate TPA and I hope higher management look out it in future. That's it.
