Undoubtedly the best medical institute interns of Neurosciences in the state. The Doctors are top notch. The expenses are pocket friendly. The staffs are polite and helpful. The food is good. Personal experience is my in law got admitted and had a spinal surgery under Dr Gerber. Amazing Doctor and my father in law felt way better in decades in only 2 days. Only small drawback is that the administrative procedure is real sluggish. They take ages to admit and discharge and requires nearly a hundred signatures for admission and discharge.considering the medical facility this institute provides, I am all willing to consider that and give a 5 star.

The doctors and treatment are very good. But the management especially in OPD Building is very very poor. They take too many bookings of patients in a single day and then make it totally a mess! The doctors even cannot maintain their scheduled timings. And the hospital staffs remain aloof to any of the complaints made by the patients or patient party. I just went to make a signature on a health scheme reimbursement form after my mother's microsurgery. The staffs are so careless and ignorant that they lost my original documents they told me to submit while signing of doctor. Due to this I suffered a lot and a huge amount of time is wasted. I request the authority not to take too many bookings in a single day and improve the management system

Bed - 321-613-806 Treated by Dr Santosh Kumar Pendyala for Neurocystocarcosys. It is a Parasitic Pork Tape Worm infestation disease in brain tissue as a result of consumption of poorly cooked meat/ vegetables. Diagnosis is done properly and treatment done at the earliest to avoid any surgery/ coma. This hospital is surely the best for all neurological treatments in Kolkata. Nurses/ brothers are well trained and everything is taken care excellently. Rooms/ hygiene conditions/ patient diet are well maintained. Nurses and other staffs are always beside you for any assistance/ support 24*7. Admission process is very smooth. Visiting hours are very limited - 11:30AM - 12:30PM. This is the only thing I suggest to increase.

It's not a hospital but a money making Machine.Worst hospital, please dont go there. They are all killer in disguise. For their negligence and rude attitude I lost my dad. It's a whole racket going on between the doctors, nurses and third party vendors in all possible way to suck the last drop of your blood and money and hand u over a dead person you love the most. Please think 100 times before going to this hospital.

The overall system is good, but the discharge process is too bad and wired process. The doctor verbally told yesterday, and today, around 10 AM, they have already given the official confirmation. But now it's 4.30 PM, and still, they are saying the discharge certificate is not yet ready. Then, the bill will be finalized and sent to the mediclaim desk for approval. They are still following the year old manual process to prepare the documents. Even the test reports are not yet available. We still don't know if the process will be completed today or not. This is not at all acceptable from this type of hospital who claims a higher level. The management needs to go through complete modification for their betterment.

Most horrible experience i have gotten in my lifetime. Dr.s are good but management is pathetic, dr are nothing infront of management. Management denied dr.s' advice to admission. Management forcefully thrown away a ventilation icu patient and continues giving pressure to relatives without proper treatment and information above the patient. If this is the experience of a most expensive hospital with a person who can afford this expensive treatment(so called), then what will happen with some other financially weaker. I hope government hospital service Maybe better than them. In the time of pandemic they showed their actual faces. SHAME ON YOU INK

Horrible experience.. Too bad behaviour of the management.... Not tolaratable....no humanity for middle class people.they didn't have any petty cash for financial transactions(So that I give them extra 10rs)...If u have mediclaim then go there...bt poor/middle class people like us stay away....one advice for the management stuffs, treat people as human with humanity, not on basis of their money or they admit there patients or not.. it's Shameful..

I give it 0 star..but 1 star is the last option A very very very bad experience for me. My grandma was admitted here for few days...because i have no other choices. Staffs are very rood. Management...it's not management..hahaaa..good management is not like this...it is only business not polite behavior by the management and staff also. It is called a very serious business not a nursing home. Please don't go there..if you have very good wealth to buy that business go there..other wise don't go there please. It is a scam or business to take your money. It is a humble request to don't go there. Shame on you INK Thank you πŸ™‚

Staff behaviour is very poor. It is totally a business spot. They convert a normal patients into abnormal. They use cathedral for urine, use adult drivers for latrines, use rice tube for. fidding. They never follow normal process. Very disappointing. No care of patients. Regular raise your bill amount. Pg & M r bangur is far better than it. .

This is one of the best hospital for any neuro related issues be it the brain or the spine. The doctors here are good specially Dr.Pradhan is one of the renowned Neurosurgeon of this place. Every doctor has their own visiting hours, usually starts from morning 10:30. You have to first meet the Junior Doctor and then you are referred to a senior one. The Bed facilities are from General to Special Premium ones. The General starts from rs 700, Two Sharing is 2500 and Special Premium is 8000. The Hospital is centrally AC so that is not a problem. The only facility available on Special premium is allowance of a relative 24*7 whereas this facility is not available for any other room. For other rooms the meeting hours are 4pm to 6pm and only 2 people allowed. For these patients they also have an arrangement of Television and Sofas. One drawback is when you go to meet the patient there is no place to sit inside the room even in twin sharing. U have to keep standing all the time. The Hospital also has Cashless facility available. Outside food is not allowed. When you come to meet doctor take minimum 3hrs in hand because doctors are not available so easily.

One of the worst hospitals in Kolkata. These people are better businessmen rather than medical professionals. They run a huge institute and need a hefty amount of money which they collects from the patients suggesting lots of unnecessary tests. Recently I lost my wife due to their wrong treatment , but they didn't leave any tests undone on her ailing body. I personally request everybody to think twice before getting admitted here.

Worst hospital. I have admitted my father on 21.08.2020 & lost him on 25.08.2020. The hospital management took 5 days time to treat him(He has a cerebral attack ) as he was admitted through swastha sathi card. However I will suggest to admit patients in this hospital if anyone has a so much liquid money (Approx. 6 Lacs). They will send a reply that they will investigate the matter at the earliest. Everything is just fraud. They will done nothing. The message is only for eye wash.

Mr. Dipak Kr Sasmal , Senior Citizen, was undergone medical treatment of this hospital wef 05 to 09 May 23. Treatment is satisfied. No financial facility / rebate was given to him being a Sr. Citizen. Request to extend this facility to Senior citizens. Seating capacity /arrangement for the patients and their families/well-wishers need development. Staff are cooperative except behaviour/attitude of few office and security staff was found unsatisfactory. Shrestha Das, Nursing Staff, was very co-operative, conveying spl thanks to her.

Very good. Doctors, nurses, staffs all treat very well. Some gatekeepers are restricted to enter more than 2 people however we are only just but 3. But after telling to the security manager they allowed us all. After all everything was good.

Wonderful experience. The staff is competent, cordial, kind, eager to please, always working with a smile. High quality of services. Special mention to Subhankar Maiti from food services (who went out if his way to provide healthy and tasty food options) and the nurses/staff of 5th floor. They made my mother very comfortable and looked after her every need.

The administrative, management and helping staffs in Neuroscience(opposite Bangladesh High Commission) are extremely rude and disrespectful. They lack empathy and kindness. They think themselves to be superior by belittling the patients and their respective families. They do not provide adequate information and get frustrated as well as aggressive if one probes into it. The management staffs are just too unprofessional and must be trained properly that would help them cultivate something as basic as humility and respect.

I got hurt in gym and i went to this hospital for emergency. Everything is absolutely ridiculous. After I made an entry, one medical staff just came and didn't hear me properly also what happened to me and asked me to do brain SC. When I told him that let me discuss with Doctor once then will do the same. He was so rude and arrogant that his way of staring at me was so humiliating that as if I have told something wrong. As per them people doesn't have rights to consult or talk to doctor just make the bill payment and do the Head SC and go home. I never saw this kind of behaviour in any hospitals, very surprising.. Never ever recommend to anyone..

Unnecessary attitude shown by the staffs. They never have beds available (or may be they reserve it for VIP's). I had prior recommendation from the senior doctor of this hospital(Dr. Hrishikesh Kumar) to get my patient admitted into rehab center. And I have booked the bed in advance. But still he was denied admission.

This hospital kept telling us he will be fine till T-1 day. They started treatment after 3 days from day of admission suggesting meningitis which they failed to diagnose initially. Post diagnosis and as the treatment started which the co billed at 40k/day. Dad's health started detoriating further after which they informed he also has encyphilitis and within the next 4 days he was no more. Also to note they did not allow us to see him or talk to him in the middle for 2 days before he passed away and when we finally could see him he was on ventilator and passed away in a few hours. - why not allow to talk or see the patient for 2 days before him passing away? Why the suspense period? - the medications which were not showing any signs of improvement and rather detoriation, why was it continued administration for the next few days? - how did our pharmacy bill of 50k/day get suddenly inflated on T-1 day of dad's passing away by 2X to 1L without consent? - And, when asked to check I got 0 response? I have no idea how you guys are running such a corrupt organisation which mints money and provides heartless medical negligence and 0 patient audit? Stops communication of family with patient before he passes away for 72 hours and increases bills with no consent by 1 lakh in a day? While telling family that he is going to be fine all the time & nothing to worry about? Pumping medicines into the body with 0 regard of health detoriation? And, absolutely 0 clarity?

Very useless hospital. They take too many bookings of patients in a single day and then make it totally a mess. My slot was booked with Dr. JACKY GANGULY for 2:00 PM and my number didn't come till 7:30 PM. Staff nurse and doctors are so rude. Specially Dr. Jacky Ganguly, he does not even know how to talk to old women. Lastly I had to go without seeing a doctor because I had a train. I paid full amount to OPD which will not be refunded to me.

I am very much impressed for their treatment and also their behaviour. Doctors are superb, medical treatment technology is very high. Dr. Ashis Datta is a very very good doctor as like God. My wife only recovered by his treatment and really he is a genius doctor. But reception behaviour not good. They're very rude. I know they always face a big rush. But I am complaining only for their behaviour. Thanking you Biswadip Bhowmick

One of the worst hospitals in kolkata. The staff is very ill behaved and do not know how to behave with relatives of the patients. Medical facilities provided are similar to other hospitals providing neuro support. Special mention should be made about the Security guards who have no formal training at all and behave like army personnel. They treat patient visitors like intruders. This is a place for doctors to fill their pockets although they advertise like they are here to serve the nation.

Just sharing for your information. I'm a patient from 808. Today (03.11.2021) from morning I'm asking for drinking water. Several time informed at last at 5:55 pm the water reached me by kitchen staff. Also like to highlight that at 4 pm they took me for Physiotherapy and when I returned back no evening tea was served to me.

I was admitted for my treatment. Cordial and helpful staff. The best part seems to be the kitchen and it's staff members Subhankar and Mintu who have been very pampering. They have tried their best to supply me with the food whatever I wanted at times. Have to wait a lot for the lift to arrive for the patient as well their home people which curtains on the visiting hours. Sumi di is also very cordial and caters to your needs and problems.

Quality Hospital, dedicated Neurological Set up, good experienced doctors NABH accredited, pocket friendly treatment costs. Lastly, very neat and clean premises, well behaved staffs. Only challenge is unavailability of parking due to small parking space. Emergency service available 24*7 for accidental and trauma patients. Prime location, exactly at Mallick Bazaar crossing, near Shiraz Golden Restaurant.

Admitted due to Neurological as well as chest problems. Very well diagnosis and treatment for the neurology part. But it is very unfortunate to say , The ITU doctors can't control the infection even after so many costly tests and using so many antibiotics. Daily test and antibiotics only cost arround 30k(daily) since last 15 days. My question to INK system why not they have any specialist of General or chest medicine doctors? 3-4 days before they refer to external chest doctor and till now we can't able to contact to the external doctors even after so many follow up to connect with us by the RMO and the chest doctor. No such action taken even after notifying several times. EMailed but no reply.

Doctors and hospital service are very good. RMO staff's and Nurses are also nice.. They do their work perfectly.. But Hospital TPA team is not good. They want to take cash money from patients. Hospital TPA team did blunder with me.. My mother got hospitalised on 23rd may 2022 and got discharge on 23rd July 2022. But Hospital TPA team team sent Intrim to my mediclaim company as of 5th July as discharge date. My Mediclaim team settled and closed the claim as 5th July as discharge date.. Hospital got claim settlement news on 15th of July but they did not told me about this. On 23rd of july, at the time of discharge of my mother, Hospital TPA person (lady) was doing drama that your mediclaim company already has been settled and closed the claim and we got the amount also as of 5th July so rest 18 days of bill you have to pay in cash... Total bill of 23rd of July β‚Ή5,59,540.80 But Mediclaim approved β‚Ή4,20,741 as of till 5th July when total bill was β‚Ή4,49,378... So I had to paid β‚Ή1,38,800 in cash.. I didn't have that much money, I took loan from some friends and colleague then I did discharge of my mother... It consumed 4-5 hrs time, harassment and loan on my shoulder. Its very disappointed thing... Because of this I am cutting 2 stars and giving 3 star

The hospital is very nice and the service is also very good. Doctors and nurses and hospital staffs are very helpful. The behavior of doctors and nurses is very polite. Food and drinking water is clean and good, bathrooms are also good but one or two taps are didn't work . My uncle was admitted here for many days so, I have been traveling here for a long time. But the manner of talking and behavior of the security guards are very very bad and angry. I would have given five stars but I gave four stars for those security guards

Worst hospital to go for any Treatment. This hospital sucks and they have the worst to worst management uneducated people sitting at the reception. They will make you wait for hours and take the money before your treatment. If you guys are running on donations that u guys claim, have some courtesy also to get a good management staff and reduce the waiting time for patients. Give actual reason for waiting. I know this post wont matter at all not the rating BUT THINK TWICE TO VISIT THEM it better to spend extra money to go for another SOPHISTICATED AND EDUCATED HOSPITAL

My father in law was diagnosed with a brain tumor in the middle of the COVID lockdown and we received exceptional service from INK. Not only they agreed for an appointment, but got him admitted within one day and operated in two days. Special mention to Manju Maity (admin/reception) - she is an amazing person who went above and beyond to help my mother-in-law even fighting with the insurance company to get the max out of them. Also to Dr. Pradhan who is not only an expert in his field, but also a kind and generous human being. I am must also state that the cost at INK was lower than what I had expected. I will highly recommend not to visit this hospital if you are highly concerned about your family ..they only make money by fooling the guardian in charge of the patient by telling lies about the condition of the patient ? . Patient died 2 days ago and they were only concerned about their money making policy .

This is one of the best neuro hospitals available in Kolkata. The hospital is fair enough in regard to cleanliness. However,as it is the case for most of the hospitals in the city, there is always scope for improvement. Especially in the infrastructural facilities and equipment sections. Still the service is decent if not great.

For any Neuro cases, you can admit. Reliable hospital, you can trust. For a bed to the ICU,ITU cases patient ,need to a appointment with hospital authority before admission. For common people it is too much expensive. Experienced Doctors . 24Γ—7 hours service available. Wheelchair access entrance. But nursing staff is not proper experienced. Having trouble in discharging time. If want to discharge in the morning, you think process will be in Afternoon.

World wrost hospital. They run a racket. My uncle admitted with road accident with head injuries and leg wound. They only treat for head and everyday told he is fine and leg wounddressing done. After 10 day they ask a plastic surgeon and he told plastic surgery required for leg wound. Then we discharge him from hospital and take to general surgeon he said they not dressing wounds even 1 times. They take 2.5 lakhs but my uncle is not good . We are arranging paper for court case.

Please be advised to all public not to go for this hospital at any cost, this hospital is worst in the world specially management are lier, they even not allow any attendee to meet patient who is admitted here, I am facing this today, My patient died 2 days early and doctors continue telling that patient is in good condition but didn't allowed to meet her an after two days they told your patient is no more so they only know how to make money from people, thay will not care patient,I lost everything yesterday, so decison is yours.

Please listen carefully everyone, I don't want anyone to go through the situation we are going through currently so it's an earnest humble request to all with folded hands. "If you want your loved one to live, DO NOT, I dare say do not admit them in this hospital". It's not a hospital but a system which will murder your loved one systematically. I lost my father-in-law yesterday. And the best part was yesterday was his discharge and we were so happy to bring him back after 17 days but he expired soon after 10 mins of his discharge on the way and couldn't even make it home. The doctors are so ineficient that can't even have any clue that patient will die after 10 mins of discharge . Few pointers for all of your reference. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL * Rude & uncultured behavior of the staff, nurses, and even the RMOs and doctors. * No proper communication between departments. * Their ego gets hurt when being questioned. They think the world is still living in the stone age and people have no idea about anything and everything. * They have a mindset that they are doing favor to patient and the relatives and always tend to forget that they are getting paid from our pocket and doing a public service. They are not doing charity by the way. * Absolute negligence behavior of the entire system. * Doctors will escape by saying Cardiac arrest and console you by saying " unfortunate incident " if your patient die and that's their only and exclusive excuse. We have lost our dear one and don't want anyone to experience the same. So writing this here thinking it might help you all to take right decision . Beware of this Hospital !!!!

Strongly suggesting to all not to visit or admit your patient. Pathetic experience, how can Govt. allowing this kind of medical institute. They took almost 10Lacs for nothing finally we had to discharge our patient. Staffs are not professional. They only ask for the money but you won't be able to know what the hell are going on with the patient. Unnecessary medicine charges in the bill but not sure they provide the medicine to the patient. No transparency with the charges and services. I hate INK.

Nursing staffs are good for nothing.Overloaded. No phone works. Ink is responding to reviews but not a single word on phone management. How a person will talk to patient andcannot speak to your patient even to floor as phone seldom gets connected. Prices are cheaper compared to draconian hospital in Kolkata.I feel they do not cheat by exorbitant tests. There OT cost is too high.

The Institute of Neurosciences, , Kolkata (I-NK), is the dream of one individual, Dr R P Sengupta, an eminent neurosurgeon practising in England since 1961, but with roots in Kolkata. The absence of proper neurological treatment including neurosurgery, care for psychiatric problems after head injury and stroke and neuro-rehabilitation particularly amongst children in the eastern region prompted Dr. Sengupta to set up a non-profit establishment in Kolkata for providing neurological care of international standards at affordable prices. Dr. Robin Sengupta has founded, and to a large extent, funded The Institute of Neurosciences (I-NK), a charitable company, for the treatment of neurological disorders in adults and children.

Somehow someone took the call and transferred it to the Department for appointment. There stuff of the department started arguing with each other which date and what time shoukld be given for appointment and the line got disconnected,. I again tried to contact them. The operator again transferred the line and the line kept ringing. No one picked ip the phone. I can imagine of contacting them is so much pain, what will be the service. Sorry. In terms of service, West Bengal is much behind your counterpart in South India. Shame on you.

Disgusting and Pathetic !!! One of the WORST Hospital I have experienced in my life. I am sure they must have bribed Times Group to be adjudged as #1 Single Specialty in Country, but believe me it should not be even considered for ranking. I am sure the founder and visionary Dr Ram Prasad Sengupta is unaware of how his dream project is now being run by the second generation administrators. I will write in detail on my case and experience that we had to suffer but just note down they will keep the patient admitted till insurance is exhausted with limited or no treatment and then will ask to shift to multi specialty hospital. It's all a SCAM. One advise even if you need to admit your patient due to lack of choice and option PLEASE DON'T TELL THEM YOU HAVE INSURANCE. Better to go for reimbursement later instead of cashless, they will just drain your insurance and then leave you in middle of nowhere haplessly. Detail case experience will follow. Total bill for treatment was 4 lakh + for just 2 weeks of hospitalization without any surgery but there was no improvement in patient condition.Currently kept under home care. Just imagine the level of fraud. More to come.

808 bed no. Quality maintained well, all staff supervised good. Dr. D. Pathak treated me well. Hope I will be better after few days. This is to mention, I have not found my shoe which I opened before entering the OT. There must be someone to hold responsible to return everything to the patient family member or must be kept inside any shoe rack / drawer which should be locked by the authority. And return on discharge. I lost the shoe and now to leave the hospital bare foot.
