I feel so angry after watching Bad Surgeon on Netflix, is it all true? Why did the hospital cover for such a big crime like that?

Based on more than one true stories, Paolo Macchiarini, a fraudulent surgeon transplanted plastic tracheas into three people. All three died in agony as a result. The worst thing, however, is the active cover-up by the clinic management and the inadequate selection process of this surgeon. Watch The Bad Surgeon on Netflix and google all the facts.

Please guys just watch Netflix documentary “Bad surgeon” or google “Paulo Macchiarini Karolinska”. This institution was covering deadly operations of a surgeon, who never tested his method on animals without even checking his medical articles. This is really horrifying, and it’s difficult to trust this place after what they did

They approved the use of plastic tracheas in humans without having tested them on animals. Every patient who received these tracheas died. They then covered it up and did not hold the doctor who performed these surgeries responsible.

According to netflix docu, terrifying how a hospital wants to cover up horrible medical crimes… Gave me the chills.

Treatment is good but waiting time at emergency is too much. This is same experience to all my friends & families visited in all hospitals in Stockholm & May be same all over Sweden. We all know there is crunch of doctors/nurses but it’s been there from so many years and yet not improved. Sometime people not to prefer visit emergency due to more waiting time. Hope Sweden government will look into it and patient will get fast service.

Their information diagnoses and decides who has acute illness and who has not. Bunch of old and young yoyos. I asked them to visit a doctor with infection however at the end they reffered me to other hospital while any hospital has emergency department to treat patients without any reservations and prior booking. Generally visiting a specialist takes 2 months and even more in Sweden. I personally know persons with cancer and other serious conditions who went to other countries to have surgery and treatment while in Sweden you pay one of the highest tax rates in the world. I have no idea why Karolinska is considered Sweden most prestigious and highest ranked university and research centre in medicine.

One of the best hospital I visited with latest technology and tools. This place has connectivity to many parts of the Stockholm via Bus. I couldn’t find a very close T-bana with walkable distance. Doctors and Nurses and medical services are good.

Went into the delivery area today to be checked as my baby was not kicking normally. I was helped right as I arrived. Everyone was really nice and helpful. I got checked out and told to not hesitate to call and come back if I felt anything else. They made me feel more comfortable and more informed. Exactly what a expecting mother needs!

Very poor overall service in the hospital. A lot of money spent on the building but all falls apart when you come as a patient and get poor service. This place needs to shape up.

Fantastic hospital 🏥!!! Especially for children. However, due to bad political policy they are constantly understaffed meaning rooms can not be utilized to full capacity. Staff complain that environmental aspects hasn’t been considered to a satisfactory level during design and construction to help with things like waste management for example. Which is a shame since it’s currently the worlds 16th MOST expensive building EVER built…

Your rude nurses decided not to do their job and turned away a mother in labor and mistreated her several times during this pandemic and she ended up delivering in her car. Don’t worry most interactions with your nurses (including phone calls) were caught on camera. The nurses were absolutely cold. Definitely basis for a lawsuit. And her video will go viral. If you don't like defective plastic organs and a criminal surgeon, you should avoid this hospital. And let's not forget the managers who are criminal shooters and don't care about the well-being of the patients or the "good" employees.

Not sure that all the money that went into this new hospital was worth it. Really hard to navigate the hospital now, worse imho than the older buildings.

You in Karolinska showed a passion and love that went beyond anything that could be expected and you saved my grandson from a real nightmare. You face daily challenges where lives are at stake. I want to give special thanks to his surgeons, doctors, nurses and all other medical staff who gave him the very best care and concern during his time in the hospital. Thank you for doing everything in your power to save his life. You are truly heroes who work hard to give all patients the best possible care. After an accident, I got the right half of my face crushed. I was treated at department NB6 reconstructive plastic surgery. I am deeply impressed by the excellence of the surgeon who restored the face without even a scar!!!. They entered through the eye socket and oral cavity and screwed together all the bones of the face under the skin. Fantastic!!!

Hurt my shoulder badly skating and went to this hospital today. I was very pleased with the service. Highly professional and only had to wait about 45 minutes. It seems they have improved their systems.

Im not sure how to start or where to start. I want to say a massive thank you to absolutely everyone in intensive care and in the heart department. E67 and C25 You are all amazing and your work saves lives and gives hope and teach us all lessons. We were welcomed by you and you did everything to make us feel comfortable in the worse time of our lives. Thank you for being so understanding and so fantastic. Your knowledge and state of art hospital is one to be admired yet you are so humbled. Thank you for looking after our brother during his stay with you and for all the warmth and care and support. Decent hospital. Needs upgrading though. They are doing the best they can in unique circumstances. Many people getting tested for Corona Virus Covid-19 in this section. Be kind.

Very beautiful hospital

It was alright. The calve’s meat was too salty and dry. But the Alzheimer patients’ brains were soooo yummy! I will definitely be coming back :D

Nice hospital, less waiting

We were at the Sample collection dept., and the staff have professionally handled the blood sample collection for my 3yr old daughter. Kudos to you guys, zero complaints and I was glad to see my daughter's happy face, after the sample collection!

Best medical hospital in Sweden

Covering up details of failed procedures and have patients die! Horrible! Can't trust hospitals like you guys.
