Professional midwifes and doctors always find time to help and come up with solutions if any problems. Extremely pleasant staff :). Very well organized and neat place. I went trough first pregnancy with this BB and than with my second went to Liljeholmen (as it was closer) after two visits there I was really pleased when BB SF took me back! Best place for me :).

I was followed here during my pregnancy. I may say that Magdalena was a great support, very professional and always listening to my doubts and needs. I was a bit concerned at the beginning as the Swedish system is so different and not having a doctor doing the regular follow up was new to me. But I have to say that I had all I needed during my entire pregnancy and a proper follow up post birth

I just have to pay tribute to their midwife Jennie. I have never experienced such nice and genuine service. She has taken the time to talk to me after a difficult announcement. She asks what she can do to make me feel better. Feedback and gives me security. Kudos to Jenny, as all midwives should be! Really impressed and everything feels so much safer after talking to her. She took her time and called late in the afternoon after phone hours and sent a referral and followed up on the referral immediately after I had been to the gynecological emergency room. Even though she is not my midwife or I was at UL with her, she still takes her time and follows up on how I feel. Jenny should get the award as the world's best midwife!

Have loved my experience here, as a first time expat Mum it has been very comforting for me to have a great midwife and to be given time and care at each appointment. It's also nice to be somewhere that's clean, calm and cosy: it doesn't feel too medical and impersonal.

I came in to change a p rod. They put it in wrong, it hurt so much, the arm was red and irritated. I could feel it pressing against the skin. They didn't believe me, they didn't want to help me. I had to YELL. When they then agree they couldn't get it out, took over 1h and 2 people, it was completely CROOKED inside the arm. They had to cut more than they really should. Got quite a scar there today. The new p bar they put in is also annoying. Really do not recommend this clinic!

They don't seem to believe in medicine and modern technology. If you are in pain, you should meditate and thus get rid of illness and pain.

I had given birth to still born baby, I have got a very good healthy pregnancy..I am an English speaker ..Not sure whether they understand my concern properly..I told them that i am not feeling baby movements much for last 3 checkups they said its normal. 3 Midwifes have checked my baby growth...They havent done one ultrasound atleast even after listening my concern..they said its completely normal as babies will not have space in the womb as i am at end of pregnancy.( Not sure how do they confirm its normal, without doing ultrasound,every pregnancy will be different)..And finally one day at 40th week 4 days i lost my baby... If they would have done one ultrasound at least i would have saved my baby..they dont even give awareness about still birth.. I am sorry to post this... I lost my babyyyyyyy even after health pregnancy from initial. Got my Autopsy results and they confirmed its because of placental insufficiency..Graph of my belly was going down at the end pregnancy reason what midwifes have given is due to baby came into position(when we asked them explicitly during checkups).Which was wrong explanation according to Doctor...

The barnmorska are nice. The BVC has high staff turnover from my own experience- so far we have seen four different women for my pregnancy and my toddler. The BVC also has a basic feel. For example, they routinely skipped certain maternity testing for me because it was my second pregnancy and my first pregnancy (elsewhere) was healthy. This means you have to push if you feel worried. Their equipment is older, so if you need more diagnostic equipment (like ultrasound) you will be sent to their Karlavägen branch. I would say this BVC is ok for pregnant women and kids who otherwise seem healthy, but if this is your first pregnancy or you/your child seem to have health issues, suggest to go somewhere more proactive with less staff turnover.

Fantastic at MVC. But at BVC we ended up with a midwife who didn't help us when breastfeeding didn't work, she believed that you absolutely shouldn't give compensation, didn't want to give a referral because of the baby's short tongue. We feel deprived at first as parents because the midwife was unhelpful and constantly said "this is how it is". Changed midwife and are so happy today!
