This place is in mcleod ganj famous for sunrise and sunset point. I went there to witness sunset. There is a small cafe there for chai and snacks and the view is great. You may do zip lining as well at this point. There is a telescope wala as well at sunrise point who shows triund valley and moon peak valley. He charges 10 rs per person. This place was mildly crowded. Taxis are available easily to this point and parking is also nearby. There are many hotels here as well which offers great sceneries. There are also food stalls nearby parking if you're looking for quick bite. Although it's better to enjoy to with friends or loved ones. Not that great place for solo travellers.

There are multiple ways to access this point but the easiest would be through the entrance of the Alpine Villa Cafe.(Ideally if you're visiting this point, stop off and grab a bite at the cafe as they are the ones who maintain the area). The spot gives you a beautiful panoramic view of the valley below as well as a couple of peaks when the skies are clear. If you visit Naddi make sure to stop off here to get yourself that social media worthy selfie or cover photo.

It's just a scenic point with a road going down to an ashram. There are a few local shops selling tea and snacks like Maggie. There are also people with telescopes that will show you the local sight seeing points for Rs 20. Overall a good way to spend a few hours looking at the mountains.

Naddi is a picturesque village near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. It offers a serene and beautiful retreat for travellers. Naddi is famous for its magnificent panoramic views of the Dhauladhar mountain range. The village is at a higher altitude than Dharamshala. It provides visitors stunning view of snow-capped peaks and green valleys. Sunset and sunrise views from Naddi are particularly remarkable. Naddi offers a quieter and more serene environment. Visitor can explore the local Gaddi culture, traditional Himachali architecture, and local festivals and rituals. Hiking and trekking in the surrounding hills and forests, birdwatching, and nature walks are other options to explore Naddi. The nearby Dal Lake is additional attractions. Wide range of accommodation options are available including guesthouses, homestays, and small hotels with basic amenities. Local eateries serve delicious Himachali cuisine. Naddi is easily reachable from Dharamshala by road. Journey offers scenic views. The best time to visit Naddi is during the summer and early autumn months (April to October). Naddi near Dharamshala is a hidden gem offering natural beauty and a peaceful retreat. It's an ideal destination for nature lovers, photographers.

Very beautiful. Close to nature. You can enjoy brisk walk here and can see snow during season too. Small cafés are good delight. But be careful about traffic as roads are narrow.

Best place for sight scene, you can stay here many hotels here. If you want to stay for good scene then better to stay here on night. Lots of hotels and restaurants here. 3-4km far from McLeod ganj. Best scene in the morning and even ing time to see high hills and enjoy the winter and cold wind.

Majestic views of Dhauladhar range of mountains from the topmost point in Mcleodganj. On the opposite side of the much crowded sunset point there is mostly unexplored view point. P.S. made a cute friend there too

A visit is highly recommended – the place is incredibly picturesque, located just 5 kilometers from McLeod Ganj's main square. The best time to go is at sunset when the snow-capped mountains glow in golden red hues. Opting for a scooter over a car is advisable due to the narrow roads. Few maggi points and small shops offer a chance to savor food while soaking in the beautiful scenery. Plan to arrive before 5:30 for the sunset view. No entrance tickets are required; you can pay Rs. 10 to locals with binoculars to glimpse the Triund trek, waterfall, temple, and more. If you're in McLeod Ganj, this spot is a must-visit. You can also visit Dal lake on the way

Located in Mcleodganj’s Naddi Village, Naddi View Point is the perfect location for catching a glimpse of the spectacular Dhauladhar ranges, especially during the winters when the peaks are covered in snow. A trek or drive to Naddi View Point, specifically in the evening, will allow visitors to catch the sunset against the mountains, take photographs, and there is also the option to see the distant mountains through a telescope. It also serves as the starting point for various treks like Kareri Lake, Triund, and Dharamkot. The tea stalls on the way provide snacks and beverages.

Going to this scenic spot around noon the place was quite empty with no hassles for parking space. We get a very good view of Dhauladhar Range at such a close distance. The sheer beauty of the mountain ranges and the houses in its slopes are something that we have to see here. This point offers stunning views of the sun setting behind the snow-capped mountains though we missed it.

Popular viewpoint where at one side you see mountains and another side you get to see sun setting on the horizon over the mountain layers. Do reach at least half an hour early before sunset time and sit in a place suitable. (A good cafe is there with sitting arrangements, other than that some local eateries are also there). Ziplining adventure activity is also available at this point.

Great place to watch sunset. Loads of open spaces. If you wanna snack around with some coffee, reach early and take some sunset view cafe seat. Parking remains a major concern though

Extremely overhyped. The view was pretty good, but I can have that view from most of McLeod Ganj. We had a scooty, so ride upto the view point was an experience in itself

Naddi view point and naddi sunset point both are beautiful . I found someone who was there with a binocular telescope. You can view the camps of Triund, falls and the Dholadhar ranges with this . He will ask for 20 rs. Select any rooftop restaurant for watching sunset.

The place is beautiful. One can see beautiful mountains and Village and enjoy hot maggi in cold breeze. The telescope wala can appeal children who showed close view of 4 peaks for 20/-. It's a bit hyped, I felt, as the same kind of view is available from many other places where one can visit simply rather than traveling so far off the city. The view is available from road as well, but then that's not the point rather Naddi Point. To visit a beautiful place and what else one can do when on mountains already and with a good view hotel - is the feel for me.

Everyone, including me twice goes there just to cover the place and the place suggests sunset or sunrise point . If you are not going by this time then it's of no avail . People there standing with binoculars shows you the triund top,the temple which I think is not worth it. There is nothing to explore there much !!

It's a really beautiful hill point through which you can enjoy the beautiful hill view, and you can even enjoy sunset and sunrise view through this hill point. You have to face a little bit crowd here as many people visit this hill point. You can also enjoy pahado wali maggie from stalls available by this hill point.

Best place to enjoy with family.....Naddi Viewpoint: A Scenic Delight in McLeodGanj Nestled amidst the majestic Dhauladhar Range in Himachal Pradesh, the Naddi Viewpoint in McLeodGanj offers a breathtaking panorama that captivates the soul. Standing at an elevation of 2,041 meters, this vantage point provides a stunning view of the snow-clad mountains, verdant valleys, and the sprawling Kangra Valley below. As an avid traveler, I had the opportunity to visit Naddi Viewpoint recently, and it truly left an indelible mark on me. To reach Naddi Viewpoint, a short drive or a pleasant hike from the main town of McLeodGanj is required. The journey itself is a treat, as one ascends through winding roads surrounded by pine forests, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Upon reaching the viewpoint, I was instantly mesmerized by the grandeur of nature that unfolded before my eyes. The first thing that struck me was the unparalleled view of the mighty Dhauladhar Range, with its snow-capped peaks glistening under the golden sunlight. The sheer magnitude of the mountains evoked a sense of awe and humility within me. As I stood there, the cool mountain breeze caressed my face, enhancing the overall experience. Beyond the mountains, the Kangra Valley sprawled out in all its glory. The lush greenery, interspersed with terraced fields and small hamlets, painted a picturesque picture of rural life. The sight was truly a feast for the eyes, a respite from the chaos of city living. I couldn't help but soak in the tranquility and find solace in the simplicity of nature. What makes Naddi Viewpoint even more special is the opportunity to witness the stunning sunset over the horizon. As the sun gradually descended, casting hues of orange, pink, and purple across the sky, the entire landscape transformed into a canvas of breathtaking beauty. The sight of the setting sun behind the mountains is a spectacle that words fail to describe adequately. Furthermore, Naddi Viewpoint offers more than just visual splendor. The surrounding area is dotted with charming cafes and tea stalls, where one can savor a hot cup of tea or coffee while taking in the panoramic view. It's the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and contemplate amidst nature's embrace. In conclusion, Naddi Viewpoint in McLeodGanj is an absolute gem for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. The awe-inspiring vistas, the serene ambiance, and the opportunity to witness the magical sunset make it a must-visit destination. Whether you are a seasoned traveler or a casual visitor, Naddi Viewpoint will leave an everlasting impression and remind you of the sheer beauty our planet has to offer.

Very beautiful place and will be the best especially if it's raining or there is snow on the peaks. When you are starting ay Mcleod Ganj, this place is kind of away from the crowded streets of the town. For nature lovers it's must go.

Actually when I visit sky was not clear so we we.were not able to enjoy the scenic beauty of Dhauladhar ranges ...but the weather was fantastic with cool.breeze.You can approach naddi by taking a taxi from meclodganj and from dharamshala as per your stay there. Its hardly 13 or 14 km from Dharmshala and it's 5 or 6 km from meclo.One.should be skilled in driving if u r going with your own car. Mid naddi there is a dal lake....nice view . One monastery near dal.lake. Overall it's good experience

There is nothing much to visit here like the one in Mcleodganj city and Dharamshala. There is meditation centre, which is 10 minutes walk from taxi stand, on the way, you can buy refrigerator magnate and shawl (there are few good store). Even one can watch higher snow covered peaks and Triund top will the help of telescope for which has to pay a small amount. And then back to your way or else sit there and feel the tranquility of the mountain.

The Dhauladhar ranges of the Himalayas are visible from Naddi. The view is awesome when there is no fog and we can see the clear snow covered mountains. Beautiful and mesmerizing.
