Very well maintained by BAPS. Location is very good. Easily accessible. Very calm and peaceful place. You get feeling of holy place. You really feel mental peace. Premvati is very nice for food and snacks. Staff is very polite and cooperative. One must visit this place.

Beautiful temple of Lord Swaminarayan at Shahibaug area. Easily noticable from main road as construction is quite huge. Visiting time morning 6 to 11 and 3 to 8 Inner atmosphere around temple is quite positive. Food and stay facility is available for devotees Devotees come and seek blessings of Lord Swaminarayan. Sunday gathering are significant and vibrant for rituals. Recommended to everyone. BAPS head-office in this temple

Much peaceful place. I would recommend you to visit this place in the evening. I also attended the Aarti here and it was serene. Swaminarayan Temple is situated on Shahibaug road, in the heart of Ahmedabad. They do not have any entry tickets. I like the architecture of the temple as well. There is a wide seating space for devotees. It's usually crowded in the evening. If you feel hungry, then you can even visit Khaman shops which are in close proximity to the temple which serves the best Gujarati delicacies. Overall a must visit place if you're around Kalupur or Shahibaug.

The carving of this monument is worth admiring because of attention to detail given and the precision of the carvings. Truly all BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir are unique and beautiful. A must visit temple in the heart of Ahmedabad.

The atmosphere here is very sacred .It is very well maintained . Its situated on the main road . It is of pure white color which makes it looks very beautiful . Facilities like free drinking water and toilets are also provided . Trees and flowers add to it's beauty . Also the temperature of the Temple is comparatively cooler than the city .

A peaceful place to pray and seek blessings from Swaminarayan Mandir. The mandir premises are quite clean and properly managed by staff.

Definately the Place of worship but it also the peaceful place with neat and clean surroundings with good nature. The devotees and the volunteers are kind and helpful. One can get the no onion no garlic snacks and food at Premvati restaurant located opposite to this temple.

It was very good to visit this temple. Unfortunately just minutes after we reached, the main deity door closed for an hour. Got a glimpse of it though. Such lovely carvings!

I went in the morning and even during mahotasav period so it was crowded, but overall experience is good , there is so much se see and parise the greatness of Shri Swaminarayana amd even your children will not get bored because they theme park and playground for children and if have time do visit during night then you will not miss night light show which i regret for not attending.

As always BAPS temples are always good to visit. Currently under renovation but a good place to visit with family. Also having a Premvati besides providing delicious and pure food varieties including fast food options (obviously no garlic & no onion) as well Pastries, Sweets and many more. The only problem you could face is the parking.
