This hotel is amazing the best hotel I have stayed at. The buffet was amazing for the breakfast I had the best pancakes. All the staff are so friendly every one that we walked past said bula (hello in English). The service is amazing Zack and Eddie are so nice and was helping us out a lot. The pool is fantastic, the water slide is fun too. You should definitely come stay at the Sofitel in Fiji, if I could rate more than 5 stars I would. Best hotel ever!

We had a great experience staying at the Sofitel. We were very well looked after. The staff were great and went above and beyond for us. We also got customer of the day, which included a room upgrade, free massages, and access to the adult pool. We were extremely grateful. I couldn't recommend this hotel more. We were close to everything, and the food and drinks were exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

The Sofitel was our favourite stay yet! The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Great for families with children. Ours were always looked after well and kids club/nannies were a great bonus. The breakfast can be a little chaotic with the amount of people and children coming through. It was better to go earlier rather than later. Facilities were great and always clean. Gym had a lot of machines and fitness classes were great, with a ice cold towel given after the classes finished which were so amazing. Housekeeping was beyond incredible. The bedtime service was a nice little bonus to have and our room was always cleaned. getting from place to place within the resort was relatively easy. The adults only restaurant was nice to get away from the bustle of families around. Food was a bit pricey at Solis restaurant but expected. Then having the Repulik bar was great for a boogie. Overall amazing stay and we can't wait to return.

My rating is 4.5 but I'm giving 5 stars for the staff who are awesome. We've just come back from a week here and it was just what we needed in the middle of the NZ winter. They have a fantastic team here that really made the difference - service with a smile and they all went the extra mile, from the spa to the pool to the front desk, restaurants and gym. We really appreciated that. Superb service. The team at the spa were amazing. Probably the highlight of the week for us. Such a relaxing experience and one that you can experience repeatedly as a couple. The food was good but not great. However, the wait staff at each restaurant were excellent. The included breakfast as part of the Waitui Beach Club was probably the food highlight for us. Solid breakfast every morning included in the fare. The rooms were the bug bear of the trip. They were totally adequate, but at $8,000+ for the week they were a bit meh in terms of both form and function. The air con shuts on and off incessantly throughout the day and night making for frustrating hot wake-ups in the middle of the night, the thermostat was locked above 21.5 degrees and the pillows were a bit of a miss until we went and swapped them out. However, the replenishing mini-bar was a real win that we enjoyed. The staff servicing the rooms were also excellent. Overall, we loved our stay here but would likely only return if there was a red-hot deal on. Feels very pricey compared to other locations around the world. Thanks to the team for a great stay nonetheless :)

We’ve just come back from a 6 night stay at the Sofitel Fiji. Lovely staff, good food at Solis, brilliant staff at kids club and a relaxing day spa atmosphere. Sunsets were really nice from the resorts position. The pool is big with varied depths so it was easy to find a quieter spot and the kids could find just the right depth for them. The gym was good with enough equipment to use for a holiday. Overall the resort was nice, but not amazing. The beds were not comfortable, the pillows were horrible (even after trying different ones at the pillow exchange) and the ac would turn off of a night as its motion activated so we would wake up constantly during the night due to being too hot and having to get up to wave my hand over the control panel to get it to activate. The buffet food was ok but with quality you’d expect from a buffet. There was very little change to the variety on offer during the stay for breakfast. Dining at Solis was nice, with good quality food. We were unable to dine at Koko due to the age limit for kids needing to be 14+. Honestly came with high expectations being that it’s supposed to be a 5 star luxury hotel and that the cost was over $6,000AUD just to stay there. Unfortunately it fell short of my expectations and I don’t think it’s worth any where near what we paid for the room. If I was to come back I would be trying to look for a deal to make it worth it.
