My review is about the Italian restaurant inside the hotel, BASÍLICO. Unexpected Charges: When we ordered, we were not informed that children’s menu desserts were exclusive to hotel guests. This led to confusion when we were charged for a dessert we assumed was included. Our waitress, Lita, who took our reservation and was aware that we were not hotel guests, did not provide a clear explanation and insisted on the charge without much discussion. Her behavior was rude; she dismissed our concerns and focused solely on ensuring we paid for the dessert. There was no apology for not informing us about the policy. Furthermore, the menu did not indicate that certain items were exclusive to hotel guests. Seating Restrictions: We were also disappointed to learn that, because we had children with us (7yr, 8yr and 10yr) m, we couldn’t sit in the ocean view terrace. Instead, we were offered seating in the side terrace or inside. Interactions with staff like Lita can significantly impact a dining experience. Clear communication about policies and respectful treatment are essential for customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, Lita’s actions made our experience at Basilico very uncomfortable. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

Almost Perfect! Luxurious suite. Delightful private patio and garden overlooking the ocean. Tasty restaurants. Clean pools. Fabulous beach and ocean access. But… So. Many. Young. Children. Who were often uncontrolled and unsupervised. Young children eating from serving spoons off the breakfast buffet. Young children running about common areas unsupervised, kicking over games. Young children openly urinating in bushes/ lawns near restaurants- in one case while photographed by a laughing parent. Young children misplacing their adults in the evening, requiring security to locate them. Young children dancing on sea walls and running wildly down walkways. Resort does a great job with adult-only dining sections for breakfast and adult-only pools. But do be aware there are many, many children around.

We arrived thankfully only for one night but we wanted to leave within the first few minutes. Not once did the hotel mention that half the place is under construction and there is banging , grinding , hammering etc in every corner . Parts of the pool is closed and the room we were given had such a strong mould smell (mould in the air con , vents etc ) that we asked to move room after a few hours when it was clear that the smell won’t go away. I don’t know how this hotel got 5 stars. It feels extremely budget but with a big price tag . As mentioned there is no mentioning of construction in any of the emails or hotel website. Absolutely appalling

Family of 5 (including 3 young kids). Have stayed throughout Fiji over the years (as well as the Cook Isl & W Samoa so can offer an accurate comparative review) . Rad Blu can be marked as one of the better resorts. Check-in was easy (although you could do with 3 instead of 2 during the check in /out periods); Room was as expected. Clean, fresh, tidy, very nicely prepared, closely situated to any of the amenities; Pool/s were clean and well maintained; Kids activities were constant; Staff were always friendly and happy to give help as required; Good selection of restaurants; Location was great. Close to Nadi (30 min shuttle), near the beach, water park, golf club et al. Really no issues other than you need more kitchen staff during the busy lunch hours. A 2 hour wait for us and table next to us was perplexing but the pool nearby made it acceptable as the kids could swim while parents waited. This holiday was mid March which seemed less crowded so I’d assume with the soon-to-be school holiday crowds, the lunch wait-time would increase drastically. Overall, a good enjoyable stay and happy to recommend for families. Maybe not so much if you’re chasing a quiet relaxing couples retreat, but even then, the noise isn’t at all offensive. The attached Thai & Leb. restaurants both offer great food and very polite staff members and the menu is well catered for adults and fussy kids. Housekeeping - excellent service and the rooms were fresh, sparkling and a delight to return to every afternoon as we’re still here. (Rms 235/236) Peter (GM) please take on board the above suggestions made in good faith.

This resort is fabulous, as was the view from my room 🤩🤩. Loved my time there. Several restaurants to choose from, as well as room service too. Multiple swimming pools' including an adults only one. Day spa on site, which I loved. Tour desk on side. Biggest asset is the unbelievably friendly staff. Nothing is too much to ask.

My group of friends stayed here during a one night layover in Fiji. First off, the staff at the resort were extremely approachable and welcoming, often going out of their way to assist us in fulfilling our needs. Facilities wise, there is a decently sized pool and a few restaurants that offer decent dining options at an acceptable price. The resort also boasts a waterfront area which offers stunning sunset views. However, the rooms looked very dated and rough on its edges. It had a mouldy feel to it and the entire room generally felt very humid and uncomfortable. Furthermore, certain parts of our room were also in disrepair, with the case in point being that we were unable to fully close the toilet door no matter how hard we tried. The quality of the housekeeping is also somewhat suspect as we found milk and a pair of socks sitting in our room upon checking in.

Pros---Rooms are spacious, very Welcoming staff, food is great. Location is awesome. Bula bus comes every 15 min takes you to Port costs you day Pass $11/person. Cons--- they will keep you waiting for check in most likely until 3p.m, you have to call over and over again for any room service you may need. They dont clean rooms properly everyday until asked.
