As some others have said, it would have been nice to have at least some signs so we could make note of what plants we were seeing, but it was a beautiful walk regardless. We missed the season for a lot of the orchids - would recommend looking into this if seeing many of them is important to you.

The Garden was beautiful - can be walked around within an hour or so. Staff provided a refreshing drink at the end of the tour. Wide array of orchids, native plants and lily ponds scattered throughout!

I loved visiting the Garde of the Sleeping Giant! It's a nice walk around in the gardens and then a forest loop and lookout. We didn't make it to the look out because it was a very hot day but I still enjoyed every bit!

Great walk through the Bush! The orchids are stunning and so is the view from the lookout. Take your time, the walk is well maintained and the prices are fair. You'll get a free drink after the walk. Facilities available, only payment with cash.

On arrival, you are escorted by a young lady through where all the orchids are telling you all the names... from there she lets you go forward on a walk-through forest area that is a bit steep at points with decking that is unsafe and needs repairs. They do weddings there if you wish for a garden setting. When you pop back to the main entrance area they have a lovely sitting area and they provide you with one of the best fruit drinks I have tasted...

The Garden of the Sleeping Giant is a stunning oasis and a must-visit for nature lovers in Fiji. Nestled at the foot of the mountains, the garden is home to an incredible collection of orchids and tropical plants, offering a peaceful and vibrant escape from the outside world. The walking trails are beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, shaded paths, and serene ponds. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights about the garden's history and its flora. The complimentary refreshing fruit juice at the end of the tour is a lovely touch. The views of the surrounding mountains and the tranquil ambiance make it a perfect spot for photography or simply soaking in nature's beauty. Highly recommended for a relaxing and picturesque experience!

Great morning or afternoon activity. Lovely walk through a garden. There is also a small climb up to a lookout. You get a glass of juice when you’re done. It’s $30 to enter. We took the local bus from Nadi to Wailoko Rd then walked down the road 20min to the garden.

Not a bad place to spend an afternoon. It’s quite a good area for some short hiking and be encapsulated in Fijian nature. It costs $30 to go inside and it includes a juice drink after your hike.

Great garden for orchids and other varieties. The walk is at your own pace and has some mild elevation. Take water and then enjoy the fresh juice at the end. $30 FJD per adult for tickets

The garden was beautiful! We took a taxi from the airport and the driver waited for us while we walked through. You can buy tickets (cash only) when you arrive. The path took about 45 minutes - 1 hour. I just wish all the trees/plants had signs identifying what they were. Otherwise the paths are pretty shaded and we enjoyed the tropical fruit punch at the end!

We were almost the only ones there! Some more people were coming as we were leaving. A little off the beaten path, but well worth the effort! Beautiful gardens. Plenty of trails and offshoots of trails to walk on. Beautiful Lookout point from up top. Fun swings and nice little pond in the middle. Beautiful flowers! Thank you very much! The juice at the end was good, but it was very sweet. Not homemade, unfortunately.

You want to get here before it gets too hot during the day. There's lots of different plants and flowers to see. The plant life and foliage is amazing to see. Hiking trails can be a little challenging in some places If you have trouble walking on uneven surfaces. The hike up to the viewpoint can be somewhat difficult being that it's dirt with loose rock so you have to be careful. Once you get up there you can see for miles. Bring water with you, you'll need it.

Imagine creating a botanic garden in it's natural habitat. That's the garden of sleeping giant in a nutshell. Every imaginable tropical plant is located here in a very relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the walk and the complimentary tropic juice at the end. The adult ticket is 30 FJD. If you are driving, be prepared to droved 2-3 km in a rough non paved off road.

This was our first experience after landing in Fiji, a great introduction to the landscape, flora, and birdlife. We walked up to the lookout — well worth the views of the Pacific, islands, and the nearby hills in Nadi. Well worth the time and price of admission.
