It's warm and the scenery is nice....Some places are very green whereas the Western side is always dry,,humid,,and not very green like the eastern part of the main island but it's beautiful...

The main island of Fiji is a magical place. On the coast you have your traditional resorts and such. Yet just a few kilometres inland one finds untouched nature consisting of breathtaking vistas and dense subtropical forests. To explore these, a 4x4 vehicle is a must which one can rent easily enough. You do not need an international drivers licence as long as your drivers licence is in English. There are also numerous options for guided tours if one weren't inclined to drive one self.

Great views, clean sand. Litter is getting better (less) each time I go. Hardly anyone on the beach, friendly people, great weather. The sunsets have been amazing every night.

The island is very nice but could release it's full potential if tourism was better managed and developed. Not much to do except in Nadi and Suva. Even in Koroyanitu national Park, you have to hire a (really pricy) guide to go hiking, since there is no proper paths or trails. But the nature is really pretty and the people always smile and say hello "Bula!"

Viti Levu is the largest of the Fiji islands and home to the capital city of Suva, where the majority of Fiji's residents live. The interior is dominated by mountains covered in lush tropical greenery, including Mt. Tomanivi, an extinct volcano, as well as numerous rivers and streams.

Viti Levu in Fiji is an absolutely stunning destination. The natural beauty of the island is breathtaking, with lush landscapes and pristine beaches that create a paradise-like atmosphere. What truly sets Viti Levu apart, however, are the people. The locals are incredibly warm and welcoming, making every interaction memorable. The culture in Viti Levu is vibrant and rich, offering a deep sense of history and tradition. Experiencing the local customs, music, and dances was a highlight of my visit. Hands down, everything about Viti Levu is amazing. This was the best experience I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you, Viti Levu, for an unforgettable journey!

We went on a nature trek in Viti Levu. We wondered at the hanging tree roots that looked the roots Tarzan used to swing from tree to tree. We smelled coffee in the trails. Fiji is also famous for its coffee!
