Visits to Cheongnyangsa Temple are not easily permitted. Only those who struggle to climb are allowed.

RECOMMENDED: a beauty of a park located only an hour away from Andong with bus number 512 which lives from Kyobo Life Insurance station (downtown). I took the one that leaves on 8:50 AM, which gave me enorm time to complete the 5h route and take the bus back at 16:10. The park includes several routes (see attached photo), featuring a unique temple built in the 6th century AD. The trails include beautiful views of emerging cliffs, thick forest, ledges and even a waterfall! Beware of wild boars! I saw one on my way to the first cliff, was quite stressful but right now it's not thier mating season and so there should be too much of a problem with them. Enjoy! ☀️

You can enjoy a cute hike. You can see beautiful mountains while going up and down the ridge. The stairs are steep. There is nothing to be seen from Jangjangbong Peak, only the summit stone. The shortest course is to climb Cheongnyang Falls, and the longest course is a standing course. The easiest way is to see Cheongnyangsa Temple, which is easy and beautiful, and then go to Jangjangbong Peak via Sky Bridge.

The mountainous terrain is beautiful, it was founded by Monk Wonhyo during the reign of King Munmu of Unified Silla, and Master Uisang used to practice ascetic. It is home to the historic Cheoryeon Temple and is a provincial park. The hiking trail is well maintained, so the level of difficulty is somewhat high. Beginners on the Sky Bridge course need the help of a companion.

It was my first time climbing Cheongnyangsan Mountain! The view was great, the snow-covered mountain was so pretty, and I loved the mountain birds. And the view of Cheongnyangsa Temple was so great.

The first place I went. Good air, few cars and people. Where I want to live. The price of rice is expensive and salty with few side dishes. Still, it was good because it was a clean area in Bonghwa, Gyeongbuk.

I couldn't go up, but I went into the museum because it was free, and it was fun and useful. I didn't know there were so many historical records of travel to Mt. Cheongnyang. I heard that Teacher Ik also wrote a travelogue about Mt. Cheongnyang. I'll have to come back later and try hiking. The mountain scenery is nice and it seems to be a famous mountain! It's a wonderful mountain.

The autumn leaves have all fallen near the top of Jangjangbong Peak, and the leaves at Cheongnyangsa Temple and the road below are at their peak. The course that goes up to Jangjangbong Peak right after passing Cheongnyang Bridge has a stairway to heaven just below Jangjangbong Peak.

The view overlooking Cheongnyangsa Temple is the best. Each peak has its own charm. It's a wonderful mountain that's not boring.

Fantastic beauty park with amazing buddhist temple inside. The way to the temple a little bit challenging (by walk).
