Naebyeonsan
Mountain

mountains

valleys

300-400m

mountains.

Temple,

in
Gamgyo-ri,
Sangseo-myeon,

of
the

The
fir
forest
around
the
precincts
is
magnificent.
Jiksopokpo
(直沼瀑布),
about
20
m
high,
located
not
far
from
Naesosa
Temple,
forms
the
most
scenic
spot
of
Naebyeonsan
Mountain
along
with
Oksubam
(玉水潭)
in
Yongso
(龍沼)
and
the
second
and
third
waterfalls
below
it.
On
Dongsa-myeon
near
the
top
of
Nakjodae
in
Junggye-ri,
Sannae-myeon,
there
is
Wolmyeongam
Hermitage,
founded
during
the
Silla
Dynasty,
which
was
rebuilt
after
suffering
damage
during
the
Korean
War.
The
mountain
behind
it,
Nakjodae
(448m),
has
a
wonderful
view
of
the
sun
falling
into
the
Yellow
Sea.
Naebyeonsan
Mountain
has
ruins
such
as
Silsangsa
Temple
Site
and
scenic
sites
such
as
Ulgeumbawi
Rock,
Seongye
Falls,
and
Gamaso.
The
scenic
beauty
of
Oebyeonsan
Mountain
mainly
consists
of
coastal
scenery,
such
as
sea
cliffs
on
the
rocky
coast
and
white
sand
and
blue
pine
trees
on
the
sandy
coast.
There
are
two
scenic
spots
on
the
coast
of
Gyeokpo-ri
in
Byeonsan-myeon,
Chaeseokgang
and
Jeokbyeokgang.
