Fantastic service and great communication! Had a recent great trip to Everest Base Camp that was very smooth and a lot of fun. Our guide Bal was super and the logistics of the trip was well planned and communicated through Ganga.

My friend and I completed the Everest base camp trek with Nepal hiking team in April 2022. Ganga, the founder, ensured that our experience was great throughout the trek. While our first guide didn’t meet our expectations in terms of knowledge, manners, as well as English, Ganga ensured we got a different great guide Ram, with whom we made it to the top. Our porter also did an amazing job! Nevertheless, we felt that eventually because we are 2 women, we were not taken seriously by the first guide. On top, neither of the guides told us about the region/culture proactively - you always had to ask questions and force the words out of them. That’s why 4 stars. When you book, just ensure asking for an experienced guide, since other people we met on the track didn’t have any complaints about their guides. The trek overall is not technically hard, we have seen 5 to 80 year old, fit and not-so-fit people finishing the trek. Only the altitude makes it really tough in the last 3-4 days. Food, hygiene, guesthouses are getting worse, the higher you get (after Namche), but this is of course understandable in this altitude. All of that is totally worth it - the views, the landscape, the hiking experience are INSANE, incomparable to any other mountain region in the world.

I have nothing but good things to say about Nepal Hiking Team. Did a trek to Gokyo with my youngest daughter. Flight to Lukla gets cancelled? No problem; Ganga gets us on the first flight the next morning just before weather cancels many of the later flights for THAT day. Need a car to tour the main sites in Kathmandu? No problem; Ganga gets us a car on short notice for most of the day for a reasonable price. He arranged side trips for us such as to Pokhara as well. Our guide Santosh and porter Ram were great and were also fun and entertaining. The pace of the hardest climbs was slowed so my older body could keep up where necessary. My daughter and I had one of the best experiences of our lives and we owe much of that to Nepal Hiking Team.

April 2022: We have been recommended the services of Nepal Hiking team by a Canadian friend. And we have to admit the NHT really did a great job. They were able to create interesting combination of trekking and 6000-peaks climbing 3week trip, Ganga communicating promptly, welcoming in person and even managed to get us last available seats for a Lukla flight (when other were forced to use jeeps or heli). Everything went smooth. We really liked our cheerful guide Gyan, always helpful, knows everything about the area and mountains, very good English. Highly recommend. Jiri, Czechia

I recently completed hiking through the Khumbu Region of Nepal, and from start to finish I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team. Ganga the owner of the company was very nice and patient with all my needs and requests. He answered every email, and fulfilled all my requests regarding my expectations. My Guide Vishma bhatta was outstanding throughout my Trek, very warm and kind, and made sure I was very well looked after. Vishma is very knowledgeable and well spoken, he speaks English very well and always made sure I was comfortable and trekked at a speed that is suited to me. I got Altitude Sickness around Renjo La and Gokyo, this is where a good guide comes into play. I was in a very bad way, and Vishma looked after me 24hrs non stop during my worst illness I have felt. He made sure I was warm and comfortable, ensured I at least had some soup when my appetite was lost, and proceeded to change course and trek back to lower altitudes. Without Vishma I would’ve been in very serious trouble. After I recovered I continued my trek and Vishma was very flexible with my itinerary. I highly recommend Vishma when you book with Nepal Hiking Team, make sure you request him. I had Naresh who was my Porter, and a stronger porter you will not find, always had a smile on his face and always so friendly. I cannot say enough about Nepal Hiking Team and it’s members. I highly recommend them for your next trekking experience in Nepal

An experience of a life time! The communication and organisation from Ganga and his team was great from the beginning. Even when my partner and I were in Australia we felt confident due to their fast and efficient emails. The people we met on this trip, accommodation, food, acclimatisation/hiking experience and of course our guide Ram were well above our expectations. Ram was great with explaining each day and assisted my partner when he was extremely sick from food poisoning. He was supportive, funny and provided us with great memories. The porters were amazing with getting our bags to and from each town. The memories and friendships we've made on this trip were exactly what we were hoping for our honeymoon. I have just completed the Classic Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nepal Hiking Team, and it has truly been an amazing experience! I am very glad I chose Nepal Hiking Team to organise my trek - their services were absolutely outstanding. Stop searching and book with Nepal Hiking Team. My wife, a friend of ours and I completed the "Annapurna circuit with Tilicho lake" hike last month and it was one of the most fantastic experiences we've had from all our travels. The beauty of the Himalayas is astounding and spending two weeks surrounded by them was pure joy. We wished we could just keep going and going on the hike! NHT are an extremely well run company. Every moment from the first enquiry email my wife sent to being dropped off at the airport ran completely smoothly. Ganga was extremely good at responding to emails quickly, in the lead up, and patiently answered the million questions we threw at him. We hiked with our guide Dhurba and two porters Neeman and Ratna - all three of them were such fun and lovely company on the trail and in the evenings spent in teahouses. Dhurba was an excellent guide. His English was great, he knew the trail well and was particularly concerned about us not getting altitude sickness (which we fortunately didn't), regularly checking in on us and giving helpful tips. He also booked us such lovely teahouses and we always felt like we had the best rooms in the teahouse! We couldn't have asked for more from a guide. He even noticed on our passports that it was my wife's birthday while we were on the trek and he organised a suprise birthday cake for her from what must be one of the highest bakeries in the world - it was so special and so thoughtful of the team! We ran into a few other groups from NHT while on the hike - it was really nice to see how friendly all the NHT employees are with each other and also how lovely and knowledgeable every one of the guides that we met from their company seemed. What was also important to us was using a local company - NHT are founded by two Nepalese brothers who worked their way up from being porters. What was a really nice personal touch is that we were greeted by one of the brothers (Ganga) on our first day before we started the hike and the other brother (Balaram) when we finished on the last day.

I have been on a hike with Nepal Hiking Team before and it was so awesome the first time, I was delighted to see them again on this return trip in June 2023! The communication from the office pre-trip is clear and concise and prompt. Their cost for value is amazing! Their staff are kind, reliable, friendly and as a solo female traveller, I felt very comfortable and safe! I went to Nagarkot for a two day hike and Bhaktapur for a tour - Gokarna my guide was fun, funny and knowledgeable! Balaram, who to me is the heart and soul of Nepal Hikong Team, is a delight - he will make sure you are extremely well taken care of, communicate with you and answer any questions you have and make arrangements for your trip to be amazing! My partner and I booked 2 tours with Nepal Hiking Team. While planning this trip I contacted many companies, but I felt very comfortable with Ganga's communication so we decided to book with NHT. We did a 10 day Annapurna trek and 20 days Everest. It was a lovely experience. It was hard and challenging of course, but we are very happy we did it. We had a different guide for each trek, but both guides were equally lovely. I felt like they both loved their jobs and their heart was in it. Ramesh, what a champion. He is so funny! If he is your guide you know you will have a good time. He made us and everybody else on the mountain laugh. It definitely made the harder days much easier. Ramesh could have been a professional photographer, which makes good memories. It really felt like we had a friend in Ramesh. Rudra, very experienced and friendly. He talks to all the birds and they talk back to him, so cute. If he's your guide you will know you're in good hands. My partner was sick a few days and he really helped him with advice and encouragement. Rudra is also a beast, small but strong, like an ant. I was struggling one day and he just grabbed my bag and raced up the mountain. I would not hesitate to book with Nepal Hiking Team again.

I had a golden opportunity to trek the Gokyo lakes and Renjo La pass region in the Himalayas in Nepal along with my sister and brother in law during October 2023. For this trek we had booked through Nepal Hiking Team (NHT) and we were completely satisfied with our choice as we successfully completed the trek with their help.  Sri Ganga Ji the owner of NHT was very professional. Before the trek he was available for answering our queries through whatsapp and in fact I even had a call session to get all my queries related to the trek answered. Ganga Ji was very patient and answered all my queries regarding preparation for the trek, payments, insurance ...  He continued the same support after we arrived in Nepal too despite being very busy. After landing in Kathmandu we were received by Paban, our trek guide at the airport. Paban was there with us from that time onwards till we completed our Gokyo lakes and Renjo La pass trek and returned back to Kathmandu. Paban did a great job as the trek guide and was very helpful throughout. During the start of the trek we were stuck in Ramechhap for two days as the flights to Lukla got cancelled due to bad weather. Paban managed to get us into a helicopter as an alternate option as we insisted on getting to Lukla quickly. During our unexpected stay at Ramechapp for two nights Paban also ensured that we got the required accommodations. During the trek Paban answered all our questions patiently. He is well aware of all the top mountain peaks and all the terrain details in the Himalayas. He ensured that we had a smooth stay at all the places in the night and regularly monitored our oxygen and pulse levels in the high altitude places. Paban was very friendly and maintained a good professional relationship with all of us during the trek. During the early morning climb to Gokyo Ri, I had some challenges as I was feeling dizzy. Paban took good care of me till I recovered and continued the trek. He even carried my bag till the top after ensuring that I was fit enough to complete the hike to the top. Overall we were all very satisfied and impressed with the service provided by Paban as a guide and definitely would recommend him as a guide for future trekkers. The two porter Sherpas namely Lakman and Chandra were also very nice and I was amazed to see their ability to carry our luggages all through the journey. A big shout of applause to them for their efforts without which we wouldn't have had a great trek experience. Overall we were all very happy with Nepal Hiking Team (NHT);s support and service during the trek. The folks working there are professional and friendly and I definitely recommend NHT as they are definitely one of the best companies for the Nepal treks and we look forward to doing one more Nepal trek with them in the near future.

Trekked to Everest base camp in the first week of October, 2023. The guide Arjun made this trek happen with his supporting team Tej (assistant guide) Hari - water boy Porters: Shankar Tulasi Vinod Milan I appreciate GangaRaj ji’s help and guidance, replying and answering all questions immediately always. Our flight to Lukla on October 7 was delayed due to weather conditions, leaving us stranded in Ramechhap for two days. Fortunately, on the third day (October 9, 2023), we were able to secure a helicopter to Surke. After landing in Surke, we hiked to Phakding, which required extra effort compared to the direct route from Lukla. Throughout all eight trekking days, including our arrival at Everest Base Camp on October 16, 2023, we were fortunate to experience favorable weather conditions. On the ninth day, instead of hiking down, we opted to take a helicopter from GORAKSHEP. There was a twist to this plan, as it had snowed in GORAKSHEP that morning, causing a delay in our scheduled flight back to Lukla. However, as we prepared to hike down, the weather improved, and helicopters were able to resume operations, allowing us to fly back to Lukla. Overall, this trip was truly memorable, and it wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated guide and his team. It was a challenging journey, but our persistence paid off, and we successfully reached Everest Base Camp.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would!! I did the 9 day ABC trek in early December 2023 and had the time of my life! The trip was all organised so well and I felt very well looked after the moment I arrived at Kathmandu airport. My guide was Sagar and he was always keen to get me the best room, checking how I was and pointing out sights and views around as we walked. He also taught me some Nepali card games! My porter, Surendra was so lovely too and was still so fast at climbing despite carrying my bag. As I was solo they both kept me entertained which was great. Ganga is so brilliant with communication. He helped to adapt my hike after I had passport issues and it felt so seemless. He also helped me out endlessly when I had visa issues leaving Nepal. I am so grateful! I would rush back to Nepal Hiking Team for any future walks in Nepal and couldn’t recommend them enough.

We booked our Annapurna circuit trek and Chitwan visit via Nepal hiking team and I must say everything was arranged perfectly! Very rapid and clear communication before we got to Nepal and great service once we arrived. Our guide Ramesh was terrific and thought us a lot about Nepal and the mountains! He had a lot of knowledge and good English level. Every evening we enjoyed his company together with the rest of the team (guides and porters) to play some Nepalese card games. Perfect trip for us so highly recommend to book your next Nepal holiday with them!

It was an amazing experience. The communication, logistics and pace really sets apart this team from the rest. The manager Ganga were really easy to work with, followed through, and were very professional all while being friendly and approachable. The views of the high mountains breathtaking. Ram was an excellent guide and spoke excellent English, and tried his utmost to help us enjoy every moment of the trail. Our porter Dipesh was, likewise, eager to help us at all times. The accommodation we stayed in was always amongst the best available at any location. The customer service was first class, and both before and after the trek. We were accommodated in fantastic hotel, Woodapple. The professionalism and experience of the Nepal Hiking staff was clearly evident at all stages of our trip. I highly recommend this company to anybody planning to do the trek in Nepal. Well done guys!

We did the Annapurna circuit this year in November. We had an absolute amazing time. Nepal hiking team provided excellent service from our arrival till the very end. After my second trek with Nepal Hiking Team, I can confirm they are a truly excellent company to use. Ganga is friendly, helpful and quick to reply while setting up the trip, working with our discussion needs and wants to organise our trip perfectly. On our trek, our guide Dipendra was outstanding and made our trip week trek around Upper Mustang Valley truly amazing. His knowledge of the local area and routes really made a difference and I feel we got a better experience than others we met. Our porters Shankar and Krishna were also lovely. The trek was fantastic, and Nepal Hiking Team ensured everything was smooth and enjoyable all the way round. Mr Ganga was very helpful with initial contact and arrangement. We were picked up from the airport and taken to a great hotel (Woodapple). We then had an enjoyable city tour before the trek started. The trek itself was spectacular. As well as the huge mountains, we also saw many waterfalls, eagles, monasteries, beautiful plants and trees, other wildlife and much more. Our guide (Ishwor) and porters (Rajesh and Tek) were excellent and stood out amongst others we met along the way. They really made the trek extra special. 10 out of 10 for them. We always stayed in what appeared to be the best available accommodation and we were given all the information we could wish for. Very highly recommended company (and trek).

Booking with the Nepal Hiking Team was the best decision I made! The early communications by email we’re prompt and friendly, the team answered all my questions and made the booking process very easy. I decided to book the Mardi Himal trek and it was AMAZING! All the staff was amazing, from the person who collected me from the airport to the person who greeted me at the hotel to explain the details of the trek. As I was travelling alone, I was paired with 1 guide (Adhikari Yubraj) and 1 porter (Rijan Itani) for the trek. Together, they made my trek absolutely memorable. Both we’re fluent in english and made communicating throughout the trek really easy. They took care of me and made sure I always had what was needed. Yubraj noticed I was eating bananas and apples on the very first morning that we met, and consequently, offered me a plate with cut up apples and bananas with a lovely chocolate with each supper then after. This was a heartwarming gesture and an indication of how kind and caring he was all throughout the trek. He kindly shared his knowledge of the land and culture as we walked, allowing me to learn more every day. Yubraj having years of experience trekking, knew all the spots with the best views! Instead of following the itinerary, he thankfully suggested that we push through to ensure we rested with the best views! I can’t express how appreciative I am for this, staying in Pitam Deurali, Badal Danda, High camp and Kalimati we’re some of the highlights of my trip. This allowed me to experience the wonderful sunrises and sunsets that this trek had to offer. Both Yubraj and Ritan graciously took pictures for me during the trek, often without me even having to ask. They even taught me how to play Dhumbal, a card game that we enjoyed on our last afternoon the Kalimati. Ritan remaining the undefeated winner! I can’t express how lucky I feel to have had the pleasure of being accompanied by them both, this was an amazing experience and one that i’m already looking forward to repeating! Thank you Ganga and team for organizing our Nepal trip in April 2023. We had the best guide in Gobin who was super experienced and made sure we were comfortable, safe, happy and healthy as we trekked the Annapurna Circuit! Of course, we also had the best porter in Bashu who made the trek super fun as we played in the snow and ensured we were supported the whole way. I couldn’t have reached (and of course climbed down) Thorong La without Gobin (sometimes literally) holding my hand and Bashu supporting me! Gobin and Bashu provided us with the best accommodations available in the area and introduced us to a great variety of delicious and local foods! I’m not sure if Gobin or Bashu even slept as they’re always attentive to our needs and are available anytime and worked really hard to get us the best experience possible. They were such a blessing to us! Ganga made our trip (trek to Annapurna Circuit to the Chitwan jungle safari with a bungee jumping side trip) as seamless as possible. We couldn’t have planned the trip as well as he did with just the right amount of free time. I am super grateful that Nepal Hiking Team also treats their guides and porters well. Our team (trekkers, guide and porter) had a first aid kit, crampons and head torch where the other teams didn’t have those. You won’t regret choosing Nepal Hiking Team as you’ll be in great hands. Just returned from solo EBC hike yesterday, it was a fantastic experience , words cannot describe my feelings , this was made possible by fantastic service offered by Nepal Hiking Team , it was extraordinary service , top notch! The Guide Mr Prakesh was very experienced Guide , who had all the information about the Everest Region , the names of all the mountains and well as the rich cultural life the the local people ! 14 days I was treated like royalty an experience I shall never forget ! A big ThankYou to Nepal Hiking Team , Ganga , Arun , Prakesh as well as Vinod the Iron Man porter who always had a smile on his face ! I shall be back again to experience a different region of Nepal, and enjoy the services provided by Nepal Hiking Team for my feature adventures in Nepal!

I want to thank Nepal Hiking Team for an excellent trip where two friends and I completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The company came to my attention following a recommendation from a colleague who remarked on their professionalism and excellent customer service. We were not disappointed. Before leaving for Nepal, our flight was delayed by three days which was very frustrating. However, on arrival, we were whisked off to the hotel, where Ganga and our guide Dip explained the updated itinerary. The rest of the trek went very smoothly. This trip is certainly not for the fair hearted, but the trek allowed us to take in the stunning scenery and the region's outstanding natural beauty. The accommodation was basic as you would expect but comfortably considering the backdrop. The food was great, as long as you dont mind dal bhat at least once a day. Our guide, Dip, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the area and took us on a few side/day hikes, which added value to the trip. He also acted as our tour guide in Pokhara and arranged for a paragliding trip, which was fantastic. Overall a fantastic experience with a very professional company. I plan on returning to Nepal soon, and I will be using Nepal Hiking Team again.

Very thankful that I completed the Annapurna circuit trek with my daughter. NHT is professional & responsive to our needs. Mr Ganga arranged helicopter to fly us from Jomsom to Pokhara when the Tara-air flights were cancelled, with NO extra cost ! We’re blessed to have another private gp of 2 Canadian young men trekking with us, my daughter has companion, with our guides & Porter-heroes together made the journey much more enjoyable! Last but not least, without Prakash supporting me on the day climbing the Thorong La Pass, I could not have made it ! Nepal mountains & her peoples are truly beautiful!

This March/April we did the Gokyo Lakes with Everest Base Camp (No Chola Pass) trek with Nepal Hiking Team as our big trip before our wedding and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we contacted Nepal Hiking Team with some questions they were very quick to respond and this great communication continued throughout. Once we arrived in Nepal everything was very well organized and taken care of from our airport pick-up by Rudra (our guide in the mountains) to the Hotel in Kathmandu. We met Balaram at the Hotel and went through the entire itinerary again and got our sleeping bags and down jackets. Before we headed of to the mountains we had a very nice city tour with Ssoba, who showed us all the highlights of the city. After a short night it was time to fly to Lukla for our hike. This was also very well organized because we were on the first (and as it turned out only) flight of the day which gave us a great start of our trip. The hike itself was amazing thanks to our very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable guide Rudra. He took such great care of us and made our trip an unforgettable experience. We also have to say thanks to our porter Santa, who carried our large bags everyday with a huge smile on his face. We highly recommend Nepal Hiking team and our Guide Rudra when hiking in Nepal!

I can definitely recommend Nepal Hiking Team to anyone. My experience of doing the Annapurna Circuit was perfectly organised from start to finished. I was picked up from the airport by our guide Gokul and then taken to a good hotel in Kathmandu where Ganga gave me the briefing. The next day started with a drive to the Annapurna region. We also met our porters Basu and Deepesh that day. The following days we did amazing treks, stayed in very decent guesthouses and climbed higher and higher. All throughout we were in amazing hands with the team: Gokul was an amazing guide who made us feel safe and we also laughed a lot! Both Basu and Deepesh were equally amazing porters, offering a great service and ensuring a smooth running. Plus the extra highlight of fruit after each dinner and games together after dinner. The trek and altitude weren’t as easy as expected but the team was always very supportive and ensured we had the best possible experience. Nepal hiking team are very flexible and are happy to organise air travel or extra nights at the hotels. I flew back from Pokhara and was picked up from the airport and even though I stayed a bit longer in Kathmandu and in a different hotel, they still arranged an airport drop off for me. Nepal Hiking Team are thoroughly reliable and professional! Definitely recommend.

Ganga the owner of the company was very nice and patient with all our needs and requests. He suggested the best tour possible based on our schedule. We were able to complete the trekking from Saturday to the following Sunday when we took an helicopter to fly back to Kathmandu. Dhurba our guide was amazing, he explained a lot of things about Nepal and Everest region, together with our porter helped us to arrive at Everest base camp. Always checking out physical parameters, suggesting to drink water and right food and have the right acclimatization. The tea house were of course basic but the best for the trek. We had a great experience with the Nepal Hiking Team trekking the Annapurna circuit, bungee jumping in Pokhara (at the Nepal High Ground), and touring the Chitwan jungle safari (with Parkland Hotel). For the Annapurna circuit trek, our guide Gobin was really thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable, experienced and nice. Our porter Bashi was experienced, fun, friendly, and helpful. They made sure we had warm and comfortable rooms each night and we had hearty and delicious meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) every day. They also kept us healthy and prepared to cross Thorong-La. We could not have made it without them. Best duo! The bungee jump at Nepal High Ground was phenomenal. The staff assured us and ensured our safety the whole time. There are lots of other fun and adrenaline pumping activities to do there. Be sure to check them out! The Chitwan safari jungle tour offered by the Parkland Hotel was great. Hari, our guide, was funny, very knowledgeable, and great at spotting and identifying wildlife. Saw lots of birds, crocs monkeys, deer, and rhinos. We witnessed a very special and tender moment between mother and baby rhino. We also enjoyed an amusing cultural dance (mix of contemporary and folk) performed by the locals. Go spot some wildlife! Finally, thank you, Ganga, for arranging this trip for us and accommodating our every needs. Thank you for taking care of your people, they and your clients appreciate it. Keep up the great work!

We just got back from a trip away with Nepal hiking team, we loved every second! Our guide Ram was with us every step of the way, helping us make the most of our trip and ensuring that we had a great time while staying safe.
