It is a simple homestay located in a nice and peaceful area. Clean and neat room with a balcony facing their plantation. They provided very good coffee and a very good morning breakfast. The host (Abhi) is a friendly person.

The host cum owner Mr. Abinand is taking care of guests is amazing and he is very polite. The home stay is located in the coffee estate. Food matter: It was delicious and yummy, I felt like home made taste 🤤 Especially for Non veg lovers must visit and taste it. I highly recommend this "HS"... Thank you for everything Mr. Abhi ❤️

We had a lovely time staying with Abhi. He is very friendly, welcoming and a great host. The room is clean and comfortable. The room has a terrace that looks out over the spice and coffee plantation. His mum is a great cook and we really enjoyed eating her homestyle Coorg meals. As ever with homestay food the portion sizes were enormous. A great place to stop over for a few days to relax between Karnataka and Kerala. He also sells ground coffee from the farm at a very reasonable price. We write this review sitting in Kochi enjoying a cup of Abhi's coffee! It's easy to get there by public transport. There's buses that go from Mysore and Madikeri to Somwarpet and you can then either catch an auto (approx ₹200) or another bus to the homestay. There's a good couple of hour walk / hike to a nearby view point and we also took a bus into the countryside and walked along the narrow country roads to a waterfall and between plantations. Thanks Abhi. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome little room in the beautiful hills of Somwarpet. Abhi and his family took great care of us with their warm welcome and tasty food. They welcomed us with snacks and awesome tea/coffee and served us tasty dinner and breakfast. They made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We had a short trip (1 night), though. Nice, little balcony! If you are a book lover and want to spend a weekend Highly recommend Abhi's place to anybody who wants to unwind in the Scotland of South India for a short stay with friends and family. Couldn't walk around the plantations because of the monsoon weather. But a place to enjoy during the monsoon too. Also visit a small lake with a beautiful temple about 2 kms away !

True to it's name it's a simple cozy little home stay. It's got home vibes to it and not hotel/resort feeling. In my opinion, this is how a "Home-Stay" should be. It has just two rooms that can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. It is best for a small group of family or friends. Very neatly maintained and I'll recommend to my friends. The host Abhinand takes very good care of guests. The breakfast, dinner and the evening snacks all are made by their family members only and is really delicious. Not to forget the coffee. Both the rooms are actually like an out-house with one common balcony for both rooms. They've kept playing cards, carrom board and books and small board games set. Wonderful place to relax and unwind. We were a group of 4 friends and we enjoyed the stay for the weekend.
