Mt. Manabu is our 4th climb. We choose this mountain because of the proximity of Sto Tomas Batangas with Laguna. View in the top is nice, just at the peak is so full of tall grass, but its ok. You can see at the peak the following: Mt Malipunyo, Mt. Makiling and Mt Maculot, Cities of Laguna, Batangas and Quezon. It’s Day hikable, just 2-3 hours going to the top. You can see different species of flowers and trees, also we see lots of EARTHWORMS! Lovely. Enjoy the river sound and lots of birds singing in the trees. Also take a sip with Tatay Tino’s FREE CIVET COFFEE is also a must!Water source is also available along the trail (spring water). Over all our experience with this mountain is Superb!

Don't worry about coffee whenever you're here. residents along the trail will let you have a taste of their civet coffee. it may get foggy at times so bring jackets if you want to camp overnight.

I love the nature in this place. The trail is covered with trees for about 90% of the hike. There is a huge cross at its peak. There are 8 stations around the trail and each one is a perfect stopover. My fave is the fifth as there is a free civer coffee there. You'd surely love this mountain. β›°οΈπŸ‡΅πŸ‡

This mountain is memorable for me since this is the first mountain I hiked. We day hiked this mountain and most of us are beginners. We are all excited and tired but if you are just like us back then - a beginner in hiking, this one's gonna be a piece of cake for you. Wear something that will cover your arms and face for there is no much shade on this mountain.

Derived from the phrases "mataas na bundok," Mt. Manabu hides something that is breathtaking in its forest areas. Gorgeous flora and distinct fauna can be found on the terrain that is composed of tall hardwood and fruit bearing trees, coconuts, shrubs and grasses. This type of terrain serves as a paradise of the civet cats that produces an expensive coffee. In addition, its summit has a wide view of the mountain ranges from afar and the nearby villages and has a cool and refreshing breeze.

This was my first time to hike while raining cats and dogs. It was a different experience then, we didn't get too dehydrated coz of the rain. But the trail is so muddy that we almost slips off. AND most of all the coffee of Tatay Tino is the best. It was along the trail. It is free and you can get unlimited cups as much as you can. You can also buy some pack of it or in a bottle. The aroma and taste if it was actually great!

I can recommend this mountain for beginners. You can also see many dayhikers here during the weekends. This is also an camping spot for those hikers started in Mt. Malipunyo via Malarayat trail.
