Definitely a must-visit place when you are traveling this part of Laguna. We went Italian and got their pastas and pizzas and they didn’t disappoint. Pasta was al dente, with just the right amount of sauce. The pizza was well made with tasty ingredients from the dough to the sauce and toppings. The salad came with fresh ingredients as well. Ambience of the place was perfect for our group of friends as we were heading back to Manila and needed a good place for brunch and coffee (iced coffee was good too!) I hope they open a branch in Manila soon! 🥰

Awarded Restaurant in Laguna (Liliw) After going thru the whole street of shoes in Liliw, we went here for lunch. I believe the place is somehow new but it is already the most recommended place in Liliw and was recently awarded as most outstanding restaurant. The place could be found in a residential area so parking was a bit challenging. But I guess the management knew about it that their staff were ready to assist and greet us from parking until they gave us our seat inside the restaurant. The place was welcoming and relaxing. It seemed to be spacious but had few tables for their customers. While for the food, most of them were single serving so each of us had different orders. Some of us had rice meal, pasta and pork chops. And all of us loved our orders. The presentations were instagrammable and the taste was so delicious. The experience was so good that we even had a few chats with their friendly staff. We were asked about our experience from other restaurants but here, they were more genuine and engaging. So kudos to all the staff and to the management, we really had a good time. Hope you open other branches in the future (in Metro Manila). 🤞

Looking for restaurants in Liliw, Arabela will always pop up in the suggestions. This time, we tried something new. Umpay’s Resto Cafe is somehow hidden behind narrow streets in one of the neighborhoods close to the town proper. The place didn’t look comfy, although I appreciate the effort on their end. For some reason, it has a vibe of a Pansol resort. This is a suggested spot if you just want a filling and good-quality meal while in the area. The matcha cheesecake is the bomb! Cash payments are accepted. They also grant cards but with a payment interest (plus 2 point something percent). Crew’s helpful and warm, no questions about that.☺️ Accurate rating: 3.47/5

This is one of my favorite places in Liliw. The experience was heavenly as I was served a meal fit for God himself. I found the ambiance to be very charming. The appetizers must be sprinkled with crack because I just craved for more and more. I would eat here every day if I could afford it! One challenge here is the tight road and parking space. Please don’t bring your wide-body cars or lifestyle pickups. Yes, you can fit but think of the others.

First time to eat here. We drove a little over an hour to try this restaurant as I was always seeing it on my newsfeed. Food was nice. We ordered Pork Tonkatsu, Truffle Mac and Cheese, Sundried Shrimp Pasta (not sure this name, but looks like it 😂), Spicy Noodle Soup and Vanilla Milkshake for the little one. My husband was not fond of the noodle soup as he was expecting something like ramen (meat broth), and the soup was coconut. I thought it tasted nice, reminiscent of ginataang kalabasa which is my favorite. It's just not his cup of tea but it was good, nonetheless. The rest of our orders were delicious. My mom even shared the tonkatsu with my son because he liked it too. I liked their latte too. When restos don't automatically add sugar to lattes, I think they're doing a good job with coffee. Will definitely be back to try the other menu items, especially dessert. PS. The road going to the resto is a bit narrow. Better to use waze to not miss the turn. The turn from the main highway is beside a gas station and can be easily missed when there are cars parked beside it. Ample parking space is available.

A secluded eating place with a nice open dining concept. Road going to the area is a bit narrow bringing a van or pickup may experience difficulties maneuvering. Although its a two way street you have to wait until the other vehicle get pass thru. Hence trikes and motorcyles wont have a problem. Walking is the best option from the main road. The food is served in american sized portions, It was great the price was decent. They have few parking spots at the back.

The restaurant is a concealed treasure—slightly expensive, yet the experience justifies the cost. Got a complementary sliced of cheese cake for Tatay's Bday too! Thank you! Highly recommended the 4cheese Pizza Truffle, new fave!😝

Good food with large serving and a quiet, alfresco atmosphere that's not that far from the main road. Mid-range pricing but worth it. Very attentive staff. Will come back again soon.

Cozy place and delicious food — It’s actually a rare find these days to get both. But this quaint resto in Liliw is legit! We tried some of their best seller pastas, pizzas and desserts and they’re really yummy. Personal faves are the cured pork pasta and their cheesecake that the owner gave us as a freebie. 💯

It was late lunch when we got to this restaurant. It is a little difficult to locate since it is within a residential area with narrow roads. One thing I didn't like is there is no parking area. Its either you park along the street or somewhere in the neighborhood. The only good thing was someone will lead you to the nearest parking slot available. Since it was Black Saturday, the restaurant was crowded. There weren't enough servers and some food on the menu are no longer available. We had to wait for an hour and a half for a simple fried chicken meal to be cooked and to our disappointment, it was not even cooking at the kitchen after all the waiting!!. The only meal that was served fast was the cheesy salmon which didn't appeal much to my palate as the salmon is no longer fresh and seemed to have been frozen for quite sometime (you will notice the color is pale and the taste is so-so). To be fair, the salad and apple glazed pork chops were good and savory while the braised pork over rice is just okay because the meat was tender but it was so fatty! It was probably a busy day but I could only give 1 star for table service and 2 stars for pricing of food and convenience. Hope to review this place again when it has improved

Good food, nice ambience, and great service! Food was really good, especially the pastas. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and very alert to our needs. The location is so not ideal since it is quite secluded. Had such a great time with friends here over lunch:)

We recently traveled two hours to Liliw, Laguna and stumbled upon Umpay, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food was not just good, but exceptional, and the ambiance added to the overall charm of the place. The service was top-notch, making me feel truly valued as a customer. If you find yourself in Liliw, I highly recommend paying a visit to Umpay. I personally couldn't get enough of their braised pork rice meal - it was a definite highlight of my visit!
