We've spent our first Sunday in this place and we enjoyed every bit of it. We drove for about 3 hours going to this place and we didn't know what to expect but it was a pleasant surprise. We had a nice lunch prepared for us while we toured around the lake on a raft, which was a new experience for me. Most of the food they served were from the lake itself (the tilapia and freshwater shrimp) or harvested around the area (like the fern salad). It was a good day for a swim but none of us were prepared. Most of us were wearing jeans and sneakers (lol). We just tried the 'swing' made with a used tire tied to a branch of a huge tree (you'll understand what it's for when you see it for yourself). It was an exhilarating experience. We're definitely going back in summer, if chances will allow. It's a nice place to visit if you're into immersing yourself in nature. It felt good to finally breathe some fresh air after being holed-up for too long because of the travel restrictions. I also appreciate how kind the tourist guides were and they were really mindful of maintaining the cleanliness of the lake. Safety protocols were also observed. Tip: Don't go here without packing swim wear... you'll regret it!

Basic amenities, but there's toilet facilities already;-) A donation box takes care of the place's upkeep, there is no entrance fee. You can take your car till the road meets the lake's banks. A sari-sari store would take care of your basic food, the house right next to it serves yummy, piping hot buffalo noodles! If you have plans of coming here might as well avail of set lunch and rafting (call them first so they can arrange your food). The locals in the area serve you in the thatched roof bamboo raft. If you come schooldays it will be best as there's no one there. If you've time in your hands it is best to read a book, ride on your own on the solo rafts or go fishing. You can bring packed lunch too if you want, just tip when you leave. Saturdays could be busy with local tourists. Best to bring kids, and pets too. They've floaters for rent, just sad that they took away the kayaks last yr - they say that not enough tourists are renting them out. I think this is better than pandin lake; from just the convenience of bringing your car till the lakeside. Just be careful of the narrow and slippery road. Buy fruits n vegetables in season when you see some here. It is so cheap! Best for a day trip. Go early morning, swim or hike, have lunch. You can go to nearby Bunga falls too, probably 15mins away by car. I just love this place. Get to talk with the locals. They'd be more than happy to help.

Be closer to nature and enjoy moments of respite in this green spot at the boundary of San Pablo City and Nagcarlan in Laguna. Getting in requires an entrance fee of P20 per person. You may also rent a hut, a table, or a bamboo raft. Swimming at the lake is allowed but I suggest going here for the fresh and clean air seems more attractive since the water’s a bit murky.

Place is perfect for camping with families. It can get very crowded during weekends, better to go during weekdays. Area is remote place, no public transpo going there and travel time from city is like an hr or two. Kinda scary swimming on it, water is not clear and I'm not sure what's lurking underneath. This place feels very mysterious as well.

Good place to bring your balikbayans. 400 per pax but totally worth it. It includes the food, balsa rent and guide. Theres a short trek if coming from Yambo lake to Pandin Lake. Bring swimming attire just in case.

A clean lake in the mid of forest, locals made into a nice tourist spot, place to go camping and fun activity with your family and friends, very safe, with 24-hour local barangay watchers

I love the place very quite and relaxing. I stayed for two days in the lake sleeping in my own tent. Entrance fee cost only 20pesos plus overnight fee a 100pesos. You can bring your own food or you can buy foods nearby the lake. Kids are not allowed due to pandemic. My experience in this yambo lake is so amazing from road trip until sunset.

Yambo Lake is the twin crater lake of Pandin Lake and is separated by a small strip of land. They are part of the Seven Lakes system in San Pablo. The entrance is accessible in my hometown, Nagcarlan. The Lake was clean, clear, and refreshing!

Time we'll spent. Crowd gets filtered because it's kinda highly priced (min of 6 for P1200). The lake is swimmable. They have this Tarzan jump wherein you had to hold on to a rope with a tire attached to it as it swings you. I don't recommend any person doing this if not athletic at all. The platform should be extended forward so that in case of bad jumps or the person fails to hold to the rope, it will be the water he l'll fall in. Not in this case. A boy jumped and nearly smashed his skull because he let go of the rope too soon. My daughter actually belly flopped because she got scared (not their fault). Enhancement of the rope like, attaching a small board to step onto while swimming might avoid these accidents. Food was very normal. Grilled porkchop, okoy patty, grilled tilapia, rice and pako salad. For me, they way it was cooked was haphazard. Needs improvement.
