Like the fact that they have mushy peas and curry sauce, which are the proper British condiments for fish & chips.

Authentic fish and chips with a Filipino twist, and in big servings!! I ordered dory and sweet potato. Perfect combination! And oh, they have the cheapest beers in all of BGC!

Best fish and chip shop in Manila. But sadly ruined by a few things.1. Almost impossible to have a conversation with friends as the music is so bloody loud. 2. Smoking is rampant at most tables despite it being completely illegal to smoke in the building.

Love the setup of the place, near our office, affordable food and they monitor people coming in, not crowded. Glad they added the roof, ambiance. πŸ™ Thank you. 🐟🍟🍻

Disclaimer: My 2-star rating is only for the food I ordered. I ordered fish & chips and I selected cobbler for the fish and sweet potato fries and a veggie slaw for the sides with roasted garlic sauce. The fish is under seasoned and the batter was not crispy anymore. Adding the sauce didnt help at all and the slaw was a bit watery so it soaked some of the sweet potatoes at the bottom. I wasnt able to finish my meal because I didnt enjoy it πŸ™ BUT according to my friend his food was good. He ordered salmon fish & chips. I just wish their food is consistent in taste and flavor.

Wasn't good unfortunately. Super soggy and greasy. Proper fish and chips should have a crunchy batter and succulent and silky fish. Same with the chips - they should be crunchy on the outside and have a mash potato consistency on the inside. All of the food just tasted like frozen fish and chips that were fried and sat under a heat lamp all day until they were soggy. Not good.

We discovered CargoFish in the outdoor restaurant area of Uptown Mall. It's a pop-up style restaurant, with a limited amount of outdoor seating. They have a simple menu pricing system where you first select your type of fish, choose two sides, and then pick your sauce. The type of fish you choose determines the price of the whole meal. I chose the cod with chips, onion rings, and mushy peas. The food was very good quality and probably the best fish & chips I've had in Manila. Prices were quite reasonable. Food for two people with a couple of beers came to 760 Pesos. I will definitely be going back.

Offers a great atmosphere, though not entirely β€˜chill’ when we visited at around 9pm. The ambiance, drinks, and music create a comfortable setting for a night out. It strikes a balance between lively and relaxed, making it a versatile spot for various moods and occasions. Tried a lot of their foods and everything were delicious.

Their packaging is so good, wasn't expecting it like this! Very artsy with the craft; how have they though of it? Cool! The serving is generous for its price; I hope they maintain this. It's very affordable and the food is good. Try it and be mindblown, not only with the food but also with how they've thought of this packaging and utensil. Enjoy!

hello cargo fish management. I just want to say that I am very disappointed with the service given to me January 31,2: 00am I asked for ice from an employee he answered me that they no longer have ice, I was surprised that after some three A minute passed by an employee who asked me for ice, he gave it to me, which means he lied to me, I hope the owner notices because even the manager who is on duty talked to me to express my concern. He said my concern was the answer to me I said don't shout at his employee. I didn't shout, I called him to let him know that there was a table that a waiter needed. What the waiter did was come over and shout what kind of employee is that. I hope both sides listen first, not your employee just don't tolerate such an employee because the time will come when no one will come back to guess you. I went to the cargo fish to chill not to fight. I'm not concerned about this for manira at makipag away para maging aware lang sana ang management. work but hopefully not like that. pays dearly not only for food or drink but also for service. it's delicious so in the fellings we go home happy because of the good service and delicious

Most promising fish and chips experience so far here in Manila. Proper chunky chips. Fish could be a bit bigger but for the price this place is very good value for money. Service I would say was above average for BGC.

Camote and fish??? Hell yeah! CargoFish never disappoints. They also send handwritten thank-you notes when you order via Grab. So extra. [virtual hug]

They used to have the cheapest beer in town, at 65 pesos pero beer bottle. Now, its ranging from 95 pesos per bottle. Still cheaper than the rest of the bars around. I loooove that they have onion rings!

Fish and chips are legit, they even have malt vinegar. If you are expecting a british style battered fish, they do a damn good job of it. Chips are a little thick but acceptable. Side note : If you are coming on the weekend at night know this is a DRINKING/PARTY BAR FIRST, FOOD PLACE SECOND! IT IS LOUD, VERY VERY LOUD. So don't come for a quiet night or expect to even hear anyone you came with or anyone not directly screaming in your ear. I guess that might only be a problem for me though, *Old man yells at cloud* 5 stars for the fish and chips.
