Had 2 night stay here. Staff is great and very friendly. They are really helpful. Take cares of all your needs and very co-operative. Helped us when we had to put our luggage after checkout. Also helps to plan your trip and sunrise trip was amazing. Food is also good and affordable as well. If again I am coming to Udaipur will definitely stay here only. Great Hostel Vibes.

Super sociable hostel, with the most amazing view of the lake! Good location, as all the tourist destinations is just a stones throw away. The staff are super friendly and make you feel like your part of the family. We went on the motorbike tour which was awesome, you get to see some really beautiful sights! Wish we could’ve stayed longer in Udaipur, especially as the hostel was a great hub! Would highly recommend staying here :)

Great hostel, this is really a solid one! One of the best hostels I found during my trip. The place is clean, the atmosphere is laid back (not party hard sort of thing), the food is good and with a better price than the restaurants nearby and the staff was always quite lovely and supportive! Also super easy to book trains and tours with them. I really enjoyed my time there and felt at peace. Guys thank you so much!

This was my second time returning to Dreamyard. It is a fantastic hostel with a breathtaking rooftop view. The staff are without doubt some of the nicest and caring people and they do an amazing job at making you feel at home and comfortable. I was sick at the time and had home remedies being made for me regularly which was just the sweetest! I will defo be back...again. Thanks again guys:)

This is absolutely the hostel to pick for your trip to Udaipur. It has great access to the classic tourist spots, but more importantly it is a good place to rest and recover. The building is beautiful with murals, open terraces and plants. The rooftop has a gorgeous view, and the staff has events like free chai at sunset that cultivate a nice atmosphere.

A great budget hostel for backpackers, absolutely helpful staff. Great musical vibe in the evening at the rooftop, superb spaces to lie down on every floor. The view from the hotel is serene and one can sit for hours.

Absolutely brilliant hostel!!! Super on it, relaxed, helpful and welcoming management and staff. They create a super environment perfect for all manner of travellers. It is a really social environment the highlight being evenings watching the sunset and chatting with other guests. Rooms are all spacious, clean and comfy and food is fresh, tasty and a good price. 100% recommend. In a perfect location to see the lovely city of Udaipur

Excellent location, friendly staff, great food, and fast service. It surpasses many standalone cafes in terms of ambiance, presentation, and quality. Additionally, they offer complimentary tea during sunset between 6-7 pm. They also provide sunrise tours—don't skip this one! Overall, my experience at Dreamyard Hostel was one of the best in India.

One of the best hostels I’ve even been so far. Such a Nice atmosphere, really friendly and charming stuff. The hostel was maintained super clean, the guys clean it up regularly.. mirrors were shinning!!! They organised lot of fun activities such as watching movies, go to see sunrise, play football matches, grab some drinks at night, etc. words don’t come up to describe such a nice experience, I’ll not doubt to drop in here in case I come back to Udaipur!!

Great location in Udaipur with easy access to the main touristic spots in the city. View of the city is gorgeous. Rooms are comfortable and have both a ceiling fan and an AC unit, bathroom is a bit worse in quality but does the job. Main highlight of our trip was the staff - so helpful, gave us tips for our time there, connected us with an amazing driver/guide, helped us when making phone calls and were overall very nice. I would recommend this hostel if you’re looking for a more affordable but still comfortable option.

First of all amazing location in the city centre. Breathtaking view over the river and best place to watch sunset. Incredible service and hospitality. Felt like home away from home. Good place to meet fellow backpackers and travelers. Idu and Tasalim were good hosts.

I highly recommend this hostel. stayed for 4 nights and had a great experience. The staff was always very helpful and accommodated me in the best way. They were very quick to fix anything that wasn't 100% and let me stay at the hostel after check out until my bus time. Taslim also helped me with a situation that had nothing to do with the hostel, out of kindness. The place has a restaurant with a rooftop and food with affordable prices (better than the surrounding restaurants) and very tasty. I really enjoyed staying here.

Top rated hostel for a reason!!! Dreamlike view from the rooftop! The staff is really friendly, polite and helpful. The best thing is their breakfast (muesli with milk/curd and dreamyard special pancake). Overall a nice experience living in this hostel, would like to come again! The location is great. The ambience is excellent. It has books, games, a guitar, and a rooftop with an amazing view of the lake. They have free evening sunset tea. The downside is the rooms are very average. The exhaust had a mind of its own. It would work sometimes and not work most of the time. The bathroom ceiling was flaking off, and the bathroom was full of flakes. I had asked for a twin bed and they had accepted my request. However, on going I found that they wouldn't be able to give a twin bed.

spent a few days there with my cousin. Amazing experience. The hostel and the rooms are great with a beautiful view on the lake, the atmosphere is awesome, and the staff is super helpful. They are here for you and always happily chat with you. I highly recommend this place. We felt like home there, always taken well care of by the managers and welcome by the staff, who like to throw parties and organise great activities.

Pleasant atmosphere in the stay and stunning view of lake Pichola especially from the terrace. Friendly staff and great vibes here. It is located in a very prime location of Old Udaipur hence easy to travel around. Overall an amazing experience here, definitely a place in mind for stay.

Booked the room for one night, the staff was really polite and cooperative. Hotel is located in the heart of the city with a good view of Lake pichola from the rooftop. Had a great stay and totally recommend it to travellers looking for an affordable place.

Fantastic hostel with the most amazing staff. Clean rooms and amazing views. Waris is extremely friendly, polite and honest. I had forgotten my earphones behind and he was extremely prompt to courier them to me within 24 hours! Would definitely go back!

Our stay here didn’t go to plan for a couple reasons but the owner was kind providing us with different options to resolve things. In the end we opted to stay elsewhere for the remainder of our trip to Udaipur due to needing a private bathroom. The owner was kind and refunded us for 2 of the 4 nights (we stayed for one). The view on the rooftop was lovely and the dorm room was spacious. Thank you for helping us.

We went to Dreamyard hostel for a farewell trip of our friend. It was a super good experience here. The staff was very friendly and kind. The rooms were neat and clean. The ambiance was surreal and peaceful. And the service is excellent.

This is home away from home.. the property is in the perfect location.. city palace, bagore ki haveli, ghanghore ghatt and few more tourist places comes within a kilometre.. the best part is its amazing view from the terrace.. they also have small balcony in every floor to enjoy the view..they serve yum food.. the hospitality is top notch, very helpful and humble.. I made some amazing frnd's there.. will recommend it 100%

Dreamyard is just an amazing place with delicious food, best hostel structure & interior and good rooms. Staying in hostel dormitory there will make your trip much more cost-effective. Good staff who took care of our special requests very well. The place is so peaceful, quiet and it will give you your own space. Just fell in love with food, rooftop view and the sitting arrangements of Cafe. However, food at dreamyard cafe & Restaurant is bit expensive, though, the price is similar for every near-by restaurants of City Palace.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is ideal for backpackers. There are multiple terraces and a rooftop , with views on the lake that are absolutely breathtaking. Taslim , the owner, is really sweet and caring. Our room was simple, clean and had AC. We also spent the night playing boardgames with Taslim's friends, there is no doubt we will remember our stay.

I have not stayed in the room but i have seen it. It is just like hostel there are bunk bed in rooms. They have very good activity area where all those who are staying can meet and watch movie and play indoor games. This place has very nice rooftop cafe. But the charges are same as high price restaurants.

Simply amazing. Apart from the hostel itself which is super nice, with a lot of common areas and a fantastic rooftop with views to the lake, the owners are incredible people. In the very first moment, the owner invited me to go to the gym with him, and the next days we went to different trips they organized around the city (meeting a lot of new people and his own friends, even inviting us to some juices and teas). And during the nights, they stayed with us playing some games, talking and laughing. Sincerelly, if I go back to Udaipur, I'll stay in this hostel for sure.
