Well maintained war memorial โœŒ๏ธ. It is represent the History of our state and Our country. The statue of The Great warrior Lachit Borphukan and his Army is main attraction. There are lots of modern war equipments were there for display. People get to know the brief History, culture of Assam, Equipments of Indian army and Indian history in there. The place portrays the moments of war and patriotism. How Ahom kingdom's commander Lachit Barphukan led the army in the war is displayed through the sculptures. Overall, Relaxing place to walk in the evening but crowded during weekends. The greenary and the sight of the water calms the mind. There is no entry fees but they ask you to donate some money in a Box

Excellent use of space amidst the busy area! Its a pleasant place to vist and know more about the Indian military. The good thing is that one can read about various battles, dating back to the pre-independence era. Rather than spending hours in a mall, sometimes its better to visit such places which inspires citizens of his civic duties.

It's a beautiful place & the best thing there's no ticket. It's free. It looks like a little space from the outside but it's really not. It's a must visit. It's got beautiful statues and walls. The garden and the whole place is well maintained by the staff. It's nice for a walk and to take a look at the things it showcases.

This place is great for hangouts and war informations, kids and war material lovers would find this place perfect for spending time. Another good thing is that you don't need any ticket for this place, but you might contribute for the construction of this place and the guards/officers might ask you for some contribution in the donation box, but they will definitely not for you for it...
