Hometown has a lot of decor items. From lamps , pots, vases , portraits, wall-hangers , cutlery items , bed linens, curtains , furniture- you name it, they have it all. Their price is a bit on the higher side but they do provide great service and the quality of the products offered is worth the price tag. Their collection is quite Innovative and at par with the latest trends of the industry. I bought many pots and vases from them and they always manage to catch the eyes of people who visit my home. They also do an exchange program where they take your old tables, curtains, sheets etc. and give you coupons to buy from them. Stores like Hometown are not very often found in the city and i am glad to have bought from it and I would love to visit it soon ! 😎😎

Learn how to behave with customers. Keeping some fancy crockery does not make a shop worth 5 star. Entire staff lack etiquette . Such a nasty experience.

I bought a bed some months back but within months of usage the bed has started to shed it's skin. Have been following up with the home town concerns since last one month but they are bunch of people with casual attitude. I am not recommending neither buying again from Home-town.

Terrible after sales service. Not at all bothered about customer once the payment is made. Brought a dinning table set on 1st oct and next day their service representative came for installation of the dinning set. After few hours of installation i noticed a small crack in the table n faded colour in one of the chair. I lodge a complaint to the authority n on Monday they send their service representative. But till now nothing has been done. The home town authority didn't contact. Don't know what the person said to his superiors about my complaint. He even took pics of the dinning set n also couldn't properly replied my questions. Not satisfied with his response

Terrible after sales service. Got a three door engineered wood almirah in the last part of September. Firstly, the delivery and fitting guys are different so you have to wait a day or two for the products to be fitted and assembled. So the product I got had defective door panels so I had to wait again for them to get replaced and then again for the assembly. Then, after the fitting the doors seemed to be damaged then again had to wait till after diwali for the new parts to get delivered. Then again the fitting guy came and found that there were no middle door and till now I am waiting for a replacement. Worst service ever. And most of the times they dont recieve your phone calls or have their number switched off. Extremely unsatisfied.

I had decided to buy furniture and made a visit to Hometown Guwahati. I must say it was a pleasure for me. Being a lady senior citizen with hundreds of doubts to clear,I was taken around the whole furniture deptt,was given a patient hearing and ended up buying 6 pieces of furniture.The person concerned Mr. Naba who took me around is a person whom I was very impressed and happy with. The installation of so many pieces which took about 3 hours was excellently done by a young man Mr. Bitupon whom I would highly recommend. With such staff as Mr. Naba and Mr Bitupon we would love to do business with Hometown in future too.

Worst experience. They takes full advance payment. Unassembled pieces delivered after 20days theyhalf assembled as said after 40 hrs of delivery. Didn't even bother to complete assembling n fitting after delivery of 6 days. I want refund .

I have purchased one Magnum 3 door wardrobe walnut on 23/12/23 which was delivered on the next day itself. When staff from hometown visited our house for installtion of the same they found that one key was broken and 2 parts was missing.The staff said it will get replace the next day itself but Till today they haven't called me to update regarding when they will replace the same....pathetic after sales service from home town

Hometown is a well known brand of furniture and furnishings. Their flagship store in guwahati is located near hanuman mandir opposite ulubari kfc besides ulubari pantaloons. Getting here is easy and parking is adequate. The staff is really helpful. The ground floor caters to furnishings, carpets and other decorative house items. The second and third floor contains furniture and kitchen modular sysytems. They have everything you can imagine to decorate your home. Prices are a bit high, but there are few sales which offer attractive prices for the furniture. I bought a 6 seater dining table for 26000. An L shaped sofa made of pine wood for 67000 and a centre table for 8000. The staff is well informed about specifications of the furniture. They provide installation service and free servicing for 1 year. Overall a good experience

Products might be good but the after sales service is very very poor..Took a hell lot of time to deliver a single product (3 months to be exact) and moreover the guys on charge to assemble the product took over 3 days to come..Did not expect this kind of service from HOMETOWN!!!

Kulen Kalita and Uday Roy have done exceptionally good work. Thanks to them. A person called Nakul Gogoi doesn't know how to behave with customers. He is very very rude. This type of people may harm the reputation of the otherwise great place. He should be strictly warned so that in future he thinks ten times before behaving rudely. Mr. Sapan Subba on the other hand is a very good person.

The Home Town is losing its charm day by day. The place once used to have many attractions, varieties of home decor, kitchen essentials, bed linens, carpets, living room essentials, home and work furniture at a really reasonable price point. Also there were fresh arrivals every 2-3 months but now you see the same old stuff with an unreasonable price hike.
