A dazzling river to go for boating and picnics. The boating fare is cheap and the river is astounding especially because of the weather surrounding the area.Tourists can come, grab a boat, paddle a hundred metres or two in a desired spot, pop a beer, light a joint and just wander about and get lost in the magnificent beauty of the river...

I don't know from where this river is clean and convenient for rafting, swimming and all.. Because in Itanagar this river is most polluted than other rivers that i have seen.. It is more like a sewer than a river because all the human waste from garbage to toilet is thrown in this river... It may seem like a normal river but God knows how polluted this river is.. Rather than others reviews i would say that this is not a place where you'd wanna picnic or raft and all... But apart from all i dont hate this place i was born in this place

Dikrong River is now very danger at rany season because of there is no safe, Near highway between Bandar Deva to Nirjuli road had not been repaired for a long time. Arunachal Government didn't take action? Many places road are broken down. Those who lives near dikrong River be careful. 😴

The river is so beautiful when we see from a distance or from a higher altitude.there are beautiful spots most of the places along this river.great place for hiking, picnic etc.but I want to urge the govt to utilize this beautiful places for tourism spot and encourage and educate the people so that this place become paradise not only for tourist but for everyone.proper connecting road and systematic pit stop/junction place at a respectable distance would be great

It was a wonderful moment in Dikrong River.. That was garbage free river.. There is board, mentioned of strict penalty will charge for throwing garbages near river.. This type of restrictions for protecting natureπŸŒΏπŸƒ make me pleasure..

We didn't sleep for the whole night and then decided to get out and watch the Sunrise. It was 4:30 pm when we started our walk and reached an abandoned construction site and got inside to watch the Sunrise. At that moment I was actually scared but also excited as it was feeling adventurous. Later on we got out and started walking through the unknown streets and suddenly at some point we were able to see a river stream at a distance and decided to go have a look at it. Then we got there and crossed the river through a makeshift bamboo bridge. But after crossing the river we were not able to find any route to get out from there and at some point we saw a route from up the jungle and to our surprise by going through there we got out from behind the ground of DN college where we guys spent lots of time there. Therefore it was a unique experience We happened to get there and were also returning home safely afterwards.

A river flowing through the mountains is always a delightful sight. Dikrong river is the river that flows from Arunachal Pradesh and passes through Assam and is one of the tributaries of the mighty Brahmaputra. The is is from the Assam side taken at Bihupuria in Lakhimpur. We had a stay at a village near Dikrong river and when I woke in the morning to take a walk, it was delightful and scenic.

Good place for outing, picnic but be careful. The level of water suddenly surged due to discharge of water from NEEPCO hydropower station

Dikrong is a major tributary of the Brahmaputra, runs through Papumpare dist of Arunachal Pradesh and Lakhimpur dist.of Assam. Mining activities, townships and unplanned developments polluting and degrading the ecosystem of Dikrong.

Beautiful river coming from Arunachal towards assam, but mining mafia is active on this river too. Lots of machenes are doing mining openly in day time, it should be stopped to nourish the river as water is pure coming from northeastern hills,

River front is decently made. It has cute looking chatris. Due to the barrage downstream, there is plenty of water, but there seems to be no flow in the water.
