Located at a height of 6,401 feet above sea level is the Hanuman Garhi temple, which is a famous Hindu temple near Mall road, Nainital. The temple is about 3.5 km from the Tallital Mall Road which is well connected by road. The temple holds great mythological significance as it was built by Neem Karoli Baba who was a famous saint during the 1950s. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman who is believed to be the epitome of strength, loyalty and dedication. Lord Hanuman devoted his entire life in the service of his mentor and idol, Lord Rama. The temple has a huge statue of Lord Hanuman who is believed to be protecting and guarding the area and locals. A golden umbrella is also installed overhead the statue.

Hanuman Garhi is a famous Hindu temple situated approximately 3 KMs from Mall road (Tallital, Nainital) on Haldwani Road. This temple is built on a beautiful hill and is situated at an altitude of 6,401 feet. This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and was built by Neem Karoli Baba. The Temple is mostly crowded on Tuesday and Saturday. Hanuman Garhi temple is easily accessible by road. Very peaceful place, one can enjoy scenic beauty around with Mountain & valley views. Must visit place. NOTE: It is shameful that people are taking and posting pictures of internal Temple and Idols even when its been clearly written everywhere that "Photography is not Allowed inside Temple Premises".

Came across from the divinity and peace. The temple named Shri Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir" also known as "Hanuman Garhi" is situated in a silent hill around 2 kms from Nainital city. I really found the solitude inside there with my partner. Didn't take photographs there cause the temple pujari said that the Neem Karoli Baba didn't like anyone to use mobile & other electronic items inside the temple, otherwise something negativity will happen in your life. Kindly follow their rules and I believe that, so I deleted the photographs of the temple and inside area also. I only kept the photos of the surrounding area. I have never seen the little Hanuman in his mother's lap, you can find it at Hanuman Garhi temple. You can't even realize how the 1 hour and more will pass by visiting the temple. The mandir area is well maintained. Prasad and other Puja items are available outside the temple. A local handicraft shop is also there from the Govt. initiative "Local for Vocal" which is run by a local lady, it is really good to see that these things will lead to a sustainable development and make our country more strong.

Lovely and divine place. Hanuman Garhi is must visit place in Nainital . Hanuman Garhi is 3 km away from Nainital. From Tallital you can go via taxi or by walk. I would recommend to go via walk. You will get a chance to see mountain views in between. There is slightly difficult trekking at the mouth of temple. So be aware if you choose on foot. Temple is very neat and clean. While coming back, don't forget to take delicious Prasad.

There are numerous levels of stairs leading up to the main shrine in the well-kept and tidy temple complex. The Lord Hanuman statue inside the temple is revered and thought to have great power. From the top of the temple, visitors may take in the breathtaking views of Nainital and the Himalayan mountain ranges. The temple is a well-liked tourist destination and a must-see location in Nainital due to its tranquil environment and panoramic views, nonetheless. The Hanuman Garhi temple is a stunning and serene location that gives tourists an opportunity to connect with their spirituality while taking in the local scenery. A trip to this temple is unquestionably worthwhile, regardless of whether you are a devotee or a visitor.

Hanuman Garhi is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Situated at a height of 6401 ft and a distance of about 3.5 km from Tallital (Nainital), is often visited for worship and sunset view. The important part of this temple is its den architecture, which is carved beneath the hill.

A beautiful temple situated on the hills. Looks small from the entrance but is huge when you go inside. There a meditation hall with Neem Karori Baba at the center and it is one of the most peaceful places I have been to. No crowd, sacrocant place worth paying a visit to by true bhakts.

The place good to be in isolation from the city. It's on top of a hill top and is very calm and peaceful place to visit. Also the temple is well maintained and you get to see many varieties of flowers and plants. They have arranged them aesthetically. Also the temple is expanded on a good amount of land. A good place to end the trip.

It is one of the most important temple in Nainital. Slightly away about 2 km it is Hanuman temple and local people as well as tourists visit here invariably. One can go here on foot also leaving the main road behind and take the pedestrian path. Those who are visiting Nainital must visit this place.

Hanuman Garhi.. one of my favorite spots since childhood.. quite picturesque and surreal. very peaceful and well maintained.. The popularity has grown multifolds and the temple also witnessed quite substantial infrastructural changes.. progressively. You will find both mental & inner peace since the temple is away from the noisy chores and offers great surroundings.. Parking available.. a small Sweets joint is available to buy sweets.

Lovely place. It's been one of the ashram of neeb kirori babaji. They don't allow photography and they scold u too for that. It has a huge hanuman ji idol. And when u move further devi temples. Moving furthee ram darbar. And still moving furthee u have shiv temple. Best part is all of them are a bit far away from each other so u have to find ur way to them among the hills around. It was a sunny day when we visited. Awsome experience

Visit this peaceful place with full of silence and devotion all around. You get a clear view in the nature from here and also some of the astonishing photos and memories to packin from here. Lord Hanuman best temple similar to Hanuman temple in Shimla. This place has other temples too and also have a mini vaishnodevi gufa which was locked during our last visit maybe due to pandemic, but it's a great todo list you should add.
