Best place i have ever been to. kind staff, friendly enviorment. nice view of hippos in the water living with crocodiles. our driver Peter was amazing, he took us to the best of places in the reserve. our waiter Joan was very kind and even made us food that was not on the menu

Incredible place in the heart of one of the most amazing places on Earth. Staff is extremely nice and helpful and no ask is too big for them. They made us feel welcome and looked after us with great attention to even the smallest details. The tents are impeccably designed and spacious (bigger than the average apartment). The view from the room is absolutely stunning with wildlife at your doorsteps. Thank you Jon, Judy and Jacob for welcoming us and looking after us!

We absolutely loved our stay at Neptune for our honeymoon. The staff were really accommodating, friendly and warm and nothing was too big of an ask. We did two morning game drives with Kelvin and Benjamin who were both great guides - very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and we saw way more than we ever expected, including three cheetahs, multiple lions and elephants and a leopard!!! All the food and drink were delicious - my wife and I are both gluten free, and Daisy was particularly helpful to ensure we were well looked after throughout. The tent was awesome - we felt very secluded but safe and it really added to the whole experience. Would definitely recommend doing the private bush dinner - an amazing experience.

The camp was amazing! We loved sitting on the river watching and hearing the hippos all day. The rooms were amazing too as we had our own little family of hippos out the front. The menu and food was divine, each day we looked forward to seeing what the options were. Our waitress Joan was unbelievably helpful answering so many of our questions about the wildlife and sharing her experiences with the hippos. She was incredible and made every meal so much better when we got to see her friendly smily face. Solomon our bar tender was so patient with us even when we had a sundowner and it begun to rain, all the drinks and seats got rained on. All his hard work was so appreciated and we enjoyed having drinks under the tree in the rain. So many beautiful memories these people helped create. An absolute joy. We would come back in a heart beat!

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 night in September after a great stay at the Mutara Camp in Ol Pejeta. Thank you to the staff for such a wonderful stay. The tents were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff if first class and we were treated like royalty. The picnic lunch could be improved but the food at the restaurant was very good considering where we were located. Watching the Hippos outside our tent was an experience we will never forget. Great location, staff and tents! You cannot go wrong booking this place! Andre

We just got back from a 7 day safari in Kenya. We stayed 3 nights at Neptune Mara. We had an amazing time. There are only 20 luxury tents all facing the Mara river with lots of hippos. Very clean and spacious camp with 24 hrs hot water. The chef would prepare tasty food for us even off menu if we had requests. Every morning we had a personal butler, Elphas, waking us up with hot beverages. These camps are all inclusive no extra cost for drinks or water. Totally worth every penny.

Very lovely place in a superb location right at the River Mara with hundreds of hippos! Service was unbelievable! Wake-up call with coffee, private butler and a hot water bottle in the bed at nights! Food was sooo good and our waiter Christian was the best!

Emmanuel, wewe ni bora!! Emmanuel was our driver for the game drives and he is extremely knowledgeable. Anything you ask him, he knows the answer to immediately. He knows his way around the mara like a pro and he’s super helpful to other drivers, friendly, kind and generous person overall. You are lucky if you get him! Neptune hotel was also amazing. The food was a bit hit and miss but probably due to it not suiting taste but the presentation and the attentive service was outstanding. We came for our honeymoon and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as it really had that luxury yet, authentic feel. Location is a bit far away from the Mara gates (around 45 mins to an hour) but we knew this before arriving and it just meant that instead of a morning and night time drive we just did full day drives and came back earlier as to not waste time doing the back and forth. We didn’t use the spa facilities due to lack of time but it looked very lovely and heard good things from other guests during our stay. The staff were all amazing and can’t fault any of them. Joan our waitress was extremely sweet. Peter our other waiter was lovely and hilarious. Shout out to Kevin the bar man, Jacob our butler who did an amazing job, Steven our night time guide who assured we reached our camp safely every night and even spotted some bush babies for us to see on our walk back. Love all the staff and I wish them all the best.
